Catori’s P.O.V

I stirred until I woke up from my deep sleep. I looked to my side and was Jiho fast asleep… well this is awkward. Did I really ask him to sleep with me last night? He must think I’m a weirdo! I tried to get out of bed but I felt something pulling me back down. I looked down and saw his arm wrapped tightly around my waist. The heat reached my cheeks quickly and I laid back down. Oh my god, what am I going to do? I’ll just pull it off as best I can. I grabbed his arm and started lifting it slowly off of me.

“Aish, why is his arm so heavy?” I complained to myself.

“Why are you trying to take it off?” I jumped when I heard his voice. I looked over at him surprised that he was awake. “You wanted it there in the first place.” He smirked at me. By now my hands had dropped to my sides and his arm was still wrapped around my waist. I could feel my cheeks warm up again at the sight of Jiho. He was in a wife beater that showed his defined muscles I didn’t know he had and his collar bone was amazingly sharp and defined. We were extremely close to each other which didn’t help my case at all because that made me blush even more. Oh my god, seriously, can I just not blush when he’s around? Life would be so much more easier! “You’re already blushing so early in the morning?” he asked leaning closer to me as if there was barely any space left between us.

“No… you’re just too close.” I tried pushing him away, but nothing happened.

“You didn’t mind that last night.” He snickered, but I just froze. Last night. The happenings of last night flashed through my head. Lee Kikwang was cornering me in his room and I had no way out. What would have happened if I didn’t open the door and Jiho hadn’t come to help me? My hands shook at the thought and pretty soon it was my whole body that was shaking. “Hey, are you okay?” I could hear Jiho but it felt like he was off into the distance. My breathing became rough and my world felt like it was spinning. “Catori? Catori!” he shook me and pulled me out of my terrible thoughts. “Are you okay? I didn’t mean to scare you, I-“

“Thank you.” I repeated over and over again as I hugged him. Yeah I know, I’m weird for wanting to be far away from him one minute and hugging him the next, but if it hadn’t been for him I don’t know what would have happened. I could feel him hug me tighter and the better moments of last night reappeared in my head. I smiled against his chest and all my worries vanished.

“Don’t worry, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you like that. I-“

“It’s okay Jiho, I’m fine now.” I looked up at him with my smile. Maybe it was just in my head but I swore I saw his lips come closer to mine before there was a knock on the door.

“Aish.” He groaned and got off the bed then headed towards the door. Were we about to kiss? Aish Catori, what are you doing sleeping in the same bed as your boss for the second time? “What do you want? I was sleeping.” I heard him complain to whoever was at the door.

“Chill, I came cause the other guys want to go to the beach.” It was Kyung, I could tell by his voice.

“This early? It’s only…”

“One in the afternoon, yes Jiho this early.” He replied sarcastically. I looked over and saw that it really was one in the afternoon. How long did I sleep? “Is that Tori? Tori what are you doing here?!” I froze but it was too late Kyung was already standing in front of the bed and the covers weren’t even covering me up.

“I- uhh…” I trailed off trying to think of something.

“Kikwang was being a douche bag to her so I let her stay in my room.” Jiho interrupted smoothly.

“Yeah,” I replied and sat up.

“Why are you wearing Jiho’s sweater?” Kyung bombarded me with another question.

“I was cold.”

“But you have blankets.”

“Thanks for noticing captain obvious.” Jiho interrupted again. “We’ll meet you guys down at the lobby in 20 minutes. Now go.” He started pushing him towards the door.

“Okay but we aren’t done talking missy!” Kyung wagged his finger at me. I rolled my eyes but nodded reluctantly. Once he was out of the door I heard Jiho sigh in relief.

“Sorry about him.” he half smiled then walked over to his suitcase for his swimming trunks.  

“Don’t worry about it.” I laughed it off and walked over to my suitcase to grab my swimsuit.

“You change in the bathroom, I’ll change here.” he told me once I had my swimsuit in my hand. I nodded and headed towards the bathroom.

Jiho’s P.O.V

I couldn’t help but smile once she walked into the bathroom; she looked so perfect in my hoodie and even more perfect in my arms. I froze at my words. Do I like her? I thought about all our times together and how much I actually thought about her. I thought about her a lot, I realized I do like her, and a lot. My cheeks felt warm, something that barely ever happened. I could feel my smile stretch from ear to ear and my stomach do a flip. I guess this is what it feels like to like someone. I just hope she likes me back. What if she doesn’t? I sighed and thought about it. I’m not even sure. If she liked me, then wouldn’t she have told me already like all the other girls I’ve known? I sighed again and could hear her knock on the bathroom door.

“Are you done?” her voice was muffled but I could still hear her.

“Uh, almost! Hold on!” I hollered back. I rushed into my trunks and left my wife beater on. “Okay!” I called and put my sweats in the hamper. She came out in shorts and a loose tank top that was slightly see-through.

“Ready?” she asked smiling. I took a quick intake of breath and nodded. She looked beautiful, and the fact that I could see her bikini top under her top made her look ier than usual. She grabbed a bag and then walked towards the door. I could feel myself get nervous being so close to her. Maybe I shouldn’t have admitted to liking her, I wouldn’t have all these feelings at least. We walked out and towards the lobby.

“Tori you look so pretty!” Jihoon ran towards her and pulled her into a hug. I rolled my eyes when I saw all the others go up to her and complement her on how she looked. “I heard you shared a room with Jiho hyung~ isn’t he a lucky guy!” he nudged her while wiggling his eyebrows.

“Aish, can we just head over to the beach now?” I interrupted them before Catori choked up about why she stayed with me. We walked to the beach since it was close enough; I honestly wasn’t a fan of going out, unless it was at night, then I loved going out.

“I’ll race you to the water!” Jihoon looked over at Catori, she laughed and nodded. The rest of us walked and settled our things down.

“Looks like Jihoonie is stealing your girl Jiho.” Jaehyo came up to me and smirked. I glared at him making sure he noticed. “What? It’s the truth.” He snickered and put his towel down. I watched him as he put an umbrella above his towel to cover himself from the sun.

“Jihoon is always like that. Just how you always act like a princess.” I snorted and crossed my arms feeling content with my comeback.

“Am not!” he whined. I snickered and ignored him as I watched Catori and Jihoon knee deep in the water. Jihoon ran towards and picked her up and over his shoulder. I could feel myself stiffen. He’s just playing with Catori is all, he doesn’t like her. I could hear Catori’s joyful yelps as he kept teasing her. What if she likes him? I clenched my jaw at the thought. Does she? Jihoon’s loud laughter pulled me out of my thoughts and I saw him let her down slowly. The both ran back to us and set their towels down.

“Yah we want to join you guys too!” I heard Minhyuk chime in on the chatter. Does he like her? I studied his actions towards her and saw his arm sling over Catori’s shoulders. They all laughed about who knows what and started undressing. I swallowed hard when I saw her pull her shirt up and her shorts down. I subconsciously my lips once I saw her, damn.

“Are you gonna stand there or go into the water with us?” Catori came up to me waving a hand in my face.

“What? Oh right.” I pulled my shirt over my head and smirked at her then pulled her over my shoulder. She yelped and slapped me in the back repeatedly. “What do you think you are doing Woo Jiho!?” she yelled still smacking my back. I laughed until I felt her smack my .

“A little touchy there, don’t you think?” I smirked then smacked her , lightly of course.

“Yah!” she screeched until I plunged into the water with her. We both popped our heads above the water at the same time. I smirked when she glared at me until I heard a giggle come out of her. My smirk softened into a smiled and I laughed with her. I heard the others come into the water with us and they started splashing us with water. I pulled Catori in front of me as a shield, but mainly to feel her soft skin.

“Getting a little touchy there, aren’t we Jiho?” Taeil wiggled his eyebrows and looked at my hands that were on her hips.

“Aigoo, Jiho has some naughty hands~!” Jaehyo joined in on the teasing. I glared at them until I heard Kyung speak.

“When hasn’t he?” he snickered and so did the others.

“What’s so wrong with putting my hands on her?” I interrupted their laughing; well Catori was quiet the whole time actually.

“Aish, let’s just forget about it.” she splashed the others with water and pulled out of my grasp. We all hung out in the water awhile longer but I couldn’t help but feel awkward with Catori. Maybe she didn’t want me touching her, and if she doesn’t want me touching her then she probably doesn’t like me.

“I’m getting hungry!” the maknae whined and everyone agreed with him.

“Let’s go back to the hotel and change then go eat.” Kyung replied and we all agreed.

“Aigoo, I’m really tired from swimming so much!” Catori whined dragging her feet.

“I got you!” Ukwon ran over to her and in front of her. “I’ll give you a piggyback ride!” I saw him beam at her. Scoffing, I looked away before I heard her say anything. She probably likes him, my jealousy got the best of me and I looked over. My hands formed fists as I saw Catori happily riding on Ukwon’s back. So she does like him. I walked faster than the rest and grabbed my stuff and left for the hotel.

Catori’s P.O.V

“I’ll give you a piggyback ride!” Ukwon offered. I looked at him surprised and quickly shook my head. “Oh come on, I know you want to~” he poked my cheek. I laughed but still shook my head. “You think I’m weak huh?” he asked glaring at me slightly.

“What? No not at all. You look very strong!” I could feel guilt come in. He flexed his muscles and I stood back a bit, wow. 

“Then let me give you a piggyback ride!” he whined. I rolled my eyes and obliged. “1,2,3!” he chimed and I jumped on his back. I let out a giggle at the new experience. “When’s the last time you had a piggyback ride?” he asked.

“First time.” I replied loving the feeling of being taller than everyone else when it’s usually was the opposite.

“So, I’m your first?” he asked with a snicker. 

“Aish, you’re too much sometimes Kim Ukwon.” We laughed until I saw Jiho walk past us. He looked rushed for some reason. The others murmured but I couldn’t hear what they were saying.

“What’s up with him?” Ukwon asked confused. My eyes followed him until his figure vanished towards the hotel.

“I don’t know.”

I walked back to Jiho’s hotel room hoping he would be there. I knocked hoping not to bother him too much. I hear loud footsteps until the door opened abruptly. I leaned back a bit surprised to see an angered Jiho at the door.

“What?” his voice was louder than usual. I swallowed hard and mustered up the courage to speak.

“I, uh need to change.” I replied quietly. Normally I would yell back but something was different about him right now.

“Why don’t you go change in Ukwon’s room?” his voice was rough with each word. Looking at him strangely I asked why he mentioned Ukwon. “I hate when you act stupid. You know why.” I stood there dumbfounded and silent.

“What?” was all I could say.

“Whatever.” He rolled his eyes and walked away leaving the door open. Maybe he doesn’t want me staying in the same room as him anymore? He’s probably annoyed with me already. I grabbed my bag and quickly walked to the bathroom. I locked the door and just stared at it for a moment. Why is he so difficult sometimes? I thought we were having fun with the others and now… he’s all grumpy again. I could feel the back of my eyes sting. Are you serious Catori? Don’t cry. He’s always mean to me, but this time it hurt even more. I thought we were getting closer and, and I was honestly starting to like him, and more than a friend too. I showered and changed with the thoughts still in my head. When I walked out of the bathroom I saw him lying on the bed with his phone in hand. I stayed silent for a bit and so did he. “Wanna have dinner here?” he asked after a long silence. My eyes widened a bit and thought about his words. It’s his way of apologizing. I let myself smile and nod then set my bag down. “I’ll order room service.” He replied quietly. I nodded then sat on the couch and played with my phone.

“Hey Jiho?” I asked when he finished. He looked over signaling me to speak. “Are you still mad?” I asked meekly. What is up with me? Seriously Catori this never happens with anyone. I don’t like taking anyone’s crap, but this guy just… I don’t know what he does to me. I saw his eyes soften surprisingly and my shoulders relaxed.

“No, I’m not mad. I guess I was just having a bad day today.” He sighed and sat next to me. “I didn’t mean to be mean to you, I just- let’s just forget about it.” I heard him sigh again and I just nodded. He turned the TV on and we watched whatever drama was on. “Coming!” he yelled when we heard a knock on the door. He opened the door and let the maid come in with the food then exit. I helped set up the table and then sat to eat. We were both quiet at first but we slowly started talking more until we got comfortable with each other again. I looked over at my phone when I heard it go off.

“I wonder who it is.” My eyes furrowed and saw it was my brother. “What’s up little bro?” I asked him.

“Hey Tori,” he replied quietly which was strange because he was always loud and rowdy.

“Is something wrong?” I asked now a little worried. “Are you okay?” I asked another question.

“Yeah I’m fine,” he sighed. “Mom’s not though…” he trailed off making me tense.

“What’s wrong with mom?” my voice trembled a bit. For a second my eyes connected with Jiho’s before I quickly looked away.

“She sick. Like really sick.” Was all he mustered. “Tori can you please come back? We need you. I need you, and mom needs you.” His voice cracked and I knew he was crying now.

“Don’t worry honey I’ll go as soon as I can.” I tried assuring him and myself. Jiho looked confused especially since I was speaking English and not Korean. I hung up with my brother and looked at Jiho in the eyes.

“What’s wrong?” he asked knowing  that something was wrong now.

“I have to go back to the States.”

sorry for being so late!!! I know I always say I won't be late again but I'm still late!! >.< I wrote this chapter a long time ago but it got deleted and I got mad so I took a break! Yeah I know lame excuse!!! At least I hope you liked it!!!! ^^
