IU's POV

 

I walked down the hall staring at my feet. I was lost in thought until I bumped into someone. 

 

"YAH! Watch where you're going!!" I looked up to see Suzy. The girl who despised me for liking my crush, Yoseob.

 

"Mian..." I said not really caring and started to walk away. "URGHHH!!" I hear Suzy groan in frustration. I smirked knowing I had irked her. She was always mean to me anyways. I continued walking down the hall still looking down until I bumped into someone again. 

 

"Sor-"

 

"Annyeong, IU~" I recognized that voice anywhere. Yoseob. I looked up only to drown in his creamy chocolate eyes.

 

"Annyeong, Yoseob!" I said while giving him a bright smile along with a slight blush. He continued walking and talking with his friends as we went opposite ways. 'Whew~ he didn't notice.' After class ended I rushed down the stairs to lunch. I quickly got my lunch and bit into my cheeseburger. 

 

"Mmmmmmm~ nyammy~" 

 

"Hey, IU~" Yoseob chuckled causing me to blush. 'He just saw me stuffing my face...is that unattractive?' I basically shoved the food down my throat and quickly greeted him back with a hi and a bright smile as always. I finished my food left with 13 minutes left until we got dismissed. '2, 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, 30, 32. 32 across. 8, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7. 50 the long way. 32x50 is.........1600!!! So there's 1600-' A body blocked my view of the ceiling tiles. And a warm voice greeted me.

 

"Hey, IU~"

 

"Annyeong, Yoseob!!" 'Wahhh!!!'  I mentally screamed. 'It's the 3^rd time today that we've said hi!! That's way more than usual!!'

 

"Sometimes I wonder what makes you space out.," Yoseob let out a deep chuckle and I blushed. 

 

"Hehe, just...bored..."

 

"Do you mind if I sit with you?"

 

"A-ani, not at all!!"

 

"Haha, arasseo." He took a seat next to me and we sat there awkwardly.

 

"Soo......." I said trying to think of a good conversation starter.

 

"Hey guys!!" His friend Kikwang popped up.

 

"Hey Kwangie~"

 

"Annyeong Kikwang sunbae!" I cheerfully greeted.

 

He sat down with us too.

 

"Soo...." He tried to start a conversation too. I giggled.

 

"You guys can go." The teacher announced. 'Awww~ I wanted to stay with him a bit longer... Oh well...' We all got up and started towards our next hours. Kikwang and Yoseob ended up walking me to class.

 

"Bye, IU~" His warm voice sounded like music to my ears.

 

"Bye, Yoseob~" I said, my cheeks hurting from smiling too much.

 

"Byeyeom~!" Kikwang said as they started leaving, but I didn't notice since Yoseob's voice kept replaying over and over again in my head.

 

"Look, she didn't even notice me!" Kikwang complained to Yoseob. I slightly blushed embarrassed and feeling bad that I had zoned out and had forgotten about replying to Kikwang. I chuckled afterwards.

 

"Bye, Kikwang sunbae!" 

 

"Oh, see? Now she notices..." 

 

"Haha mian...I sort of spaced out...haha," I laughed.

 

"Bye~" Yoseob said again which made my heartbeat speed up. 'I wonder if I should ever confess...' I sighed. For now, I think I'll be his 'best friend' or so he calls me. I don't want to make things even more awkward... I went through the door to Tech Ed and slumped in my chair. 'Boring class....I wish Yoseob was here...' I furiously shook my head. 'NO! NO! I can't think that way!! FOCUS!! FOCUS!!' And so I did...for a while hehe.. All thoughts of Yoseob soon flooded back though and I yawned. 'Nighty night time...I'm going to regret this though...watch me get detention...' I thought to myself as I drifted into a peaceful nap.
