Kai was confused. Very confused. He had just been introduced to Lu Han’s girlfriend, but she was Sehun’s girlfriend, for as far as he knew. The moment he realized who she was, he suspected her of cheating. But, the problem with that theory was that she lacked even the slightest hint of guilt or perplexity.      “You’re… You’re Lee Jieun, right?” he asked, confirming once more.      She nodded. “Yes.” Then, facing Lu Han, she said, “Do you mind if I step outside to have a word with Jongin?”      The Chinese seemed curious but nonetheless approved. So, Jieun and Kai went outside of the classroom and to a quiet corner of the hallway.      As soon as the two came to a stop, Kai asked, “So what’s this? What’s going on?”      “Ah, well,” she began. “Sehun and I are not…together anymore. Things happened and we’re just good friends now.”      He raised his eyebrows. “Are you serious? But it’s only been, like, a bit less than two months…”      “No, I think it’s more correct to say that it’s already been two months since then.”      Frowning, Kai said, “Sehun seemed really serious about you. What happened? I don’t think he’s the type to see other women, so… Is it because of Lu Han?”      Jieun shook her head. “No. We’re not even seeing each other at the moment.”      “What? But didn’t Yixing and Zitao say earlier that you were—”      “It’s kind of complicated,” she replied, sighing. “But anyway, I wanted to speak to you because I wanted to ask you a favor.”      “A favor? What?”      her lips, Jieun looked down at her feet and said, “I was wondering if you could keep my previous relationship with Sehun a secret from Lu Han and everyone else.”      Kai looked skeptical. “Why? What do you have to hide?”      “I really, really like Lu Han,” she told him in a quiet voice. “I think he’s interested in me, too, but I don’t want anything to mess that up. To Lu Han, Sehun is nothing but a good friend of mine; and I’d really prefer it if it stays that way. You’re the only one who knows about this, so please, can you not tell anyone of it?”      “Well… It’s none of my business, so that’s fine with me. But…” He frowned and shot her a glare. “Does Sehun know of this? I’d just like you to know that what you’re doing is just hurting him. It’s wrong.”      ‘Who are you to tell me what’s right and wrong?’ Jieun scoffed in her head. ‘You’re a murderer. You’re the one who has done all the hurting.’      “Then again, it’s none of my business. So I’ll keep my mouth shut.” He nodded. “And that’s a promise.”      Forcing on a smile, she bowed. “Thank you, Jongin. Thank you.”      The two soon reentered the classroom and were greeted by Lu Han. “What’s up? Is something wrong?”      Kai, taken off-guard, muttered, “Uh, um, w-what?”      It was Jieun who covered the situation. “It was nothing much. I just wanted to thank him for inviting me to his party a while ago.”      Lu Han frowned. “Which party? He throws so many that I can’t keep track of which ones I went to or not…”      “It was the one from about two months ago,” Kai replied. “You weren’t there. You said your dad needed you at the company.”      “Ah. That night.” He faced Jieun. “You went to his party? What for? I don’t think I’ve ever seen you around him before.”      She smiled at him. “A friend took me there. That was actually the first party I’ve went to during college, excluding birthday celebrations.”      “Are you serious?” the Chinese male said with his mouth agape. “That’s amazing. How does that even happen?” Then, suddenly snapping his fingers, he said, “I almost forgot. Jieun, are you free this Saturday?”      Nodding in response, she told him yes.      “Hold on one second.” Lu Han pulled out his phone and dialed someone. Then, a minute later, he exclaimed, “Hey, Chanyeol!”      “What do you want?” the person on the other side said.      “You free this Saturday?”      “No.”      “Okay. Great. So there’s someone I need to introduce you to—”      “Uh, what part of ‘no’ did you not understand?”      Rolling his eyes, Lu Han stuck his tongue out at his phone screen. “What plans can you possibly have? You’re a loser. I’m the only friend you’ve got.”      A loud sigh emanated th

Chapter 21: This was a very beautiful story. So very descriptive and detailed. Also very angsty and somewhat realistic, connects to realworld problems, which i like. Although the ending was sad, i still enjoyed reading. You're a very talented writer, author-nim. Keep it up~!^^

Chapter 22: Okay, I haven't been reading this even though it appeared in my updated subscriptions simply because I am very lazzzzzzzy lol. Well, I'm not even surprised to read this tragic ending cos I know you ain't kind enough to give a happy one. LOL jk, I mean, it's obvious that this is going to end up angst. But to be honest, I quite frustrated with all the main characters here lol. The story's amazing though. I like the epilogue most, the insight about the types of love. :)
