Inside the dark, barely illuminated gym, sounds of air being cut echoed throughout. The source of the sounds was a man dressed in a kendo uniform with a matching wooden sword; he was continuously hacking and slashing at the empty air.      After a couple of more violent slashes, the man angrily threw the sword to the gym floor. “Damn!” he screamed. “Damn, damn, damn!” He threw himself on the floor and stared at the ceiling. Sweat ran from every pore of his body, and quickened breaths repeatedly escaped from his lips. “What the hell is she thinking?” he whispered feebly. “Lee Jieun, why are you doing this to me?”      “See you on Monday!”      “Okay. See you then.”      After attending his sole morning class—literature—Sehun said his goodbyes to his friends and went on his way. As usual, the school campus of Seoul on a Saturday was almost deserted and empty. Normally, he would have loitered around just for fun, but for now, he was planning to meet Jieun.      Things had happened. But he considered it all just a part of the past. He stormed over to Jieun and confronted her.      “What was that?” he demanded. “What’s going on between you and Lu Han?”      He thought that she would at least be taken by surprise. Instead, she looked at him with the coldest eyes he had ever seen her with and replied, “Nothing in particular. He just wants to keep in touch.”      “And why is that?!”      She shrugged nonchalantly. “I’ll have to wait and see to find out.”      Sehun, having finally lost his temper, fiercely grabbed Jieun by the wrist and yelled, “What do you think you’re doing?!”      With her other free hand, she pried herself free from his grip. Then, she looked at him directly in the eye. “Please.
