CHAPTER 8

Sungmin’s POV

Kyuhyun’s shift just ended and he’s now changing his clothes, I don’t know why Kyuhyun insisted on walking me home, it’s alright if he doesn’t but he was s o stubborn, he said that it was already dark outside and it might be dangerous. Blah! I just agreed to him since he was such a kid.

“You ready to go?” Kyuhyun asked as he went out the same room he went in earlier

I looked at him sarcastically

“Kyuhyun, I have just been out here waiting for you for several minutes, of course I’m ready”

I was awarded with a glare from the amazing Cho Kyuhyun. Yey!

I smiled at him, who says teasing is only for Cho? It can be for me to right?  He smirked at me

“You’re getting good at teasing bunny, but no one can match Cho Kyuhyun when it comes to teasing so you still have a really long way to go”

He pinched my cheeks and I pouted

“Just stick to what you’re good at, and that’s being adorably cute”

“Let’s just go!” I said annoyed

“As you wish sweetheart~” He said as he smiled at me

I blushed at what he said, what’s wrong with me? I used to not care about those stuff arghhh, I hate this!

I hissed the moment my skin touched the cold wind, Kyuhyun looked at me, an eyebrow raised

I pouted at him

“Kyuhyun, I’m cold” I said as I blew hot breath to my palms and rubbed my palms together

He smiled at me, a smile that made my heart stop, It was a genuine smile, the smile that made my insides warm

“It’s alright” He grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers together, I froze at what he did, but immediately my hands felt warmer

“better?” He looked at me and I know I was blushing, I looked away and nodded

We walked hand in hand, I felt myself smiling, he suddenly swung our arms and I can’t help but giggle at what he was doing, he smiled and looked at me

“bunny!”

“hmmm?” I said as I looked at him still giggling

“you look cute when you smile, you should smile often” I blushed at what he said

I looked down and smiled wider, feeling warm all over even with the cold night

Kyuhyun’s POV

I smiled at our linked hands, I don’t know why I feel warm and secure while holding this bunny boys’ hands, it’s like I don’t want to let it go.

I realized that I didn’t know where to go, I’ve never been in Sunngmin’s house.

“Min?”

He hummed in response

“Where’s your house?”

He laughed at me

“Oh, right! You don’t know where my house is, I’ll just tell you where to go okay?”

I smiled at him and nodded my head

“Kyuhyun?”

“yes?”

“Why don’t you try making friends at our school?” I looked at him curiously

“Why’d you ask that?” he shrugged his shoulders

“no particular reason, just curious”

“well, I don’t really like the students at our school”

“Why not?” he asked looking at me while walking

“They’re not really like you” I answered honestly

I could see him blush from the corner of my eye, he looked down

“Well how about Eunhyuk, he’s your bestfriend right? He’s not exactly like me, why is he your friend” I crossed my eyebrows thinking

I looked to Sungmin and smiled

“I really don’t know”

“And besides who would want to be friends with me? A jerk, full-of-himself, egoistic person” I said while looking far straight ahead.

I got surprised as he suddenly stopped

“Is that how you see yourself?” I looked at him, he looked concerned

“well, kind of, the reason why I’m a kingka is because of my looks and that’s it” everyone called me that, everyone saw me like that so I assumed I was like that.

He tightened his grip on my hands, I looked at him confused

“You really don’t know yourself do you?” he said while frowning

 “huh?” I was really confused

“I think you’re this sweet, caring, simple guy who works hard and who is fun to be with”

I looked deep into his eyes, he was the first person who ever saw me like that, well besides my brother.

“You’re more than just a handsome face you know?”

I suddenly smiled at him and hugged him, nuzzling my nose to his neck, I inhaled Sungmin’s scent, he smelt of coffee and caramel, he smelt amazing

“Thanks, Sungmin-ah” I whispered in his ears

I felt him smiling

“Don’t ever think of yourself like that ever again arraso?”

I smiled “arasso”

He hugged me back and he buried his face in my chest, I love Sungmins’ warmth, it was calming and relaxing, after a couple of minutes we decided to break the hug.

I intertwined our fingers together and silently walked, I felt really happy, this guy, he makes me happy all the time, why?

I just shrugged the thoughts away and enjoyed the night

“you take a right there” Sungmin said and I nodded in response

After turning right and walking a little bit we arrived at his house, I suddenly felt sad that I won’t get to hold his hand anymore

“Here we are Kyu! Want t o go in?” he asked

“Oh! no thanks, maybe next time” I said smiling

“well, okay, goodnight kyu!” he said as he smiled, his bunny teeth showing

I walked closer to him and kissed his forehead when I pulled back I saw his flustered face

“goodnight Sungmin-ah, sweet dreams” I said with a smile as I walked away
