CHAPTER 13

Sungmin’s POV

I walked in the hallways, my hands on the straps of my backpack, I was looking from left to right praying I won’t spot a certain brown haired guy, What happened last Friday was, I don’t know, magical?

Naahhhhh too cheesy

Anyway after the, what do you call that? Confession? Kyuhyun walked me home and we were in silence feeling the cold breeze glancing at each other awkwardly and when I got back to the house, I ran upstairs to my bedroom, locked it, flopped myself in the pillow, and screamed at it. And during the weekends I got nothing from Kyuhyun! Not even a text message! I EVEN FORGOT I WAS ANGRY AT MY PARENTS! They were so confused when I went down in the morning and I was so cheery, it’s like I forgot that heartbreaking experience!

And now I’m helplessly avoiding him, I don’t know how I’ll face him, I mean what are we now? We just confessed to each other, It’s not like we love each other right? RIGHT?!

I sighed as I reached my locker, opening it then putting my books in.

“Hi Sungminnie!” I gasped in surprise as I heard Donghae’s chirpy voice.

“Oh my god Donghae! Don’t ever do that again!” I said panting a little, Donghae pouted and looked at me like he was waiting for me to say something, I raised an eyebrow at him

“What?” I asked feeling confused

“You were supposed to meet me at the library earlier” He said still pouting

I clasped my hands on my mouth in realization

“I’m really super sorry Donghae” I said looking at him

“I’m going to make it up for you, I super promise, how bout we go to that café you’ve been talking about later?” I asked

He smiled and nodded his head vigorously

“Okay Sungminnie~~ you’re forgiven” ahhhhh it’s so easy to bribe a child, I smiled at him

“Come on we’re going to be late” I said as I started walking, Donghae followed me and we both started walking, as I was walking I saw a mop of brown hair, looking at me with his brown beady eyes, was that Kyuhyun? I started walking faster

“Yah! Sungmin! Slow down” Donghae said trying his best to keep up with my pace

I looked back and saw Kyuhyun, was that a frown on his face?

The bell rang indicating the start of Lunch break, I usually go to the rooftop but I decided on eating with Donghae since I need to make up with him *cough* not the real reason *cough* Okayyyyy! I’m avoiding the rooftop! There!

I sighed in frustration, avoiding Kyuhyun is hard, first of all, I noticed that I have always spent most of my time with him, and today was pretty boring without that teasing jerk, and I kept seeing him! Is this school that small?

I walked towards our table with a tray of foods, as I was walking my eyes landed on the kingka’s table I got surprised to see Kyuhyun there, his hands crossed, slouching back with a bored expression on his face, why wasn’t he in the rooftop? I mean that’s where we usually go when we eat, was he avoiding me as well? I frowned and just walked forward, trying to act like I didn’t see him.

I slammed my tray down then flopped down my chair with an annoyed expression.

“Aish! Was he avoiding me?! Bu he can’t do that! I was doing that!”

“Umm is everything okay with Sungmin?” I heard Ryeowook say

Yesung shrugged  “I don’t know probably Kyuhyun and him had a fight or something” I stared in disbelief at Yesung, how could he assume it was Kyuhyun?! Was it that obvious?

 I kicked the chair in front of me causing it to fall down I quickly regretted it as students near our table looked at me, I quickly set back the chair to its original position and bowing to everyone muttering a soft ‘I’m sorry’

Poor chair.

I heard Donghae chuckle from my left, I turned and gave him a glare in which he just chuckled more

“It’s not fun when you’re the one being avoided isn’t it Sungminnie?” Donghae said with a teasing tone

Yesung and Ryeowook chuckled along with him, I have such good friends.

“Shut up you fish face! And what are you talking about? I have no idea what you’re talking about Donghae so shut up!” I said

“yeaah right, NO IDEA, Sungminnie I know what’s happening here, you were deliberately avoiding Kyuhyun and so Kyuhyun avoided you too and now you’re pissed at him cause you were avoiding him and you don’t want to get avoided to”

I glared at Donghae

“Am I right Sungminnie?”

“Whatever” I said and started killing eating my food

“Oh! Ey! You guys want to go with us, we’re going to a café later, Sungminnie is paying!” I rolled my eyes at him

“Nahh we can’t we have a stupid project to finish”

“Well, that’s too bad, maybe next time” Donghae said while pouting

Puke.

It was raining a little by the time we were dismissed, Donghae was waiting for me in the gate, I was still a little down because of things, okay fine because of Kyuhyun, he was ignoring me the whole day.

“Hey Sungminnie! ” He was almost jumping up and down, was he that happy to eat sweets, maybe sweets is bad for Donghae, he’s already hyper as he is.

“eyyyyyy” I said, and then I saw Eunhyuk right behind Donghae, scratching his nape awkwardly

“Hey Sungmin, umm I gues I’m going to join you and this fish here, can I? I mean join you?” he said unsure

I smiled at him “Of course you can” but inside I felt kinda awkward, I’d be like, a third wheel

 Eww

Well I have no choice anyway, I can’t just shoo Eunhyuk away and tell him to get lost cause I’d be awkward if he was there, no , that’s rude.

We arrived at the café it was like 5 minutes away from the school so it was a pretty quick walk, but I didn’t get that much awkward, Eunhyuk was a lot like Donghae, hyper and immature, that’s why he’s easy to get along with, pretty much I felt like I was baby-sitting the two, which was kind of weird cause I always felt like the baby.

We sat and waited for our order.

Donghae ordered some blueberry cheesecake, Eunhyuk ordered strawberry shortcake, I was seriously expecting that and I ordered Cinnamon Frappe 

It started raining outside, well they did say there would be a storm today

The fish and the monkey were arguing about some girl group.

Yup.kids. I’m with 2 kids.

A girl walked up to us and served us our order smiling at Donghae, Enhyuk glared at the girl and the girl squeaked and ran back to safety, Donghae looked confused and turned to Eunhyuk

“Don’t look at me, I didn’t do anything” he said as he raised both his hands

I chuckled at them, yup, they’re definitely in love

“So Sungmin, what happened with you and Kyuhyun and why was he sitting with us during lunch, everyone was so weirded out” I looked at him confused

“Why are you so sure I have something to do about it” I said annoyed

He shrugged his shoulders “I don’t know I feel like it” I looked at him disbelief written on my face but before I could start talking he was already devouring his strawberry shortcake.

Wow, Kyuhyun wasn’t kidding.

“Sungmin was avoiding Kyuhyun so Kyuhyun avoided him too” I looked at Donghae with disbelief, how could he blabber about that?!

“Donghae!” Donghae looked at me confusion in his eyes

“How could you say that?! Do you want to pay for the food?!” I said threatening him

“No! I’m sorry Sungminnie~~” He said with puppy eyes

Again.puke.

“ewwww okay okay, just stop trying to cute, it’s excruciating to watch” Donghae frowned and I laughed

I’m such a good friend

“Well, I’ve got to go, nice spending time with you Eunhyuk” I said standing up and bringing along my untouched drink, I didn’t want to ruin their time ALONE .

“Already? Why so fast?” Donghae said frowning

“I have a lot of things to do”

“But it’s pouring out there” he said concerned

“It’s alright I have an umbrella anyway” I said taking my umbrella out my bag and showing them to Donghae.

“You won’t be able to ride any bus cause of the rain you know” Eunhyuk said to me

“Oh, well then I’ll just walk” I said, I actually have walked from school to my house a couple of times, so I know which route I’ll take.

“well, if you say so, are you really going to be alright?” I smiled at Donghae’s concern

“Yes, I’d be alright I’m sure you will be to later, you’re with Eunhyuk, he’ll protect you anyway” I said teasingly they both blushed at what I said

“Well, bye then~~” I walked out the café and opened my umbrella

Kyuhyun’s POV

I looked outside, it was pouring hard out there good thing I brought my umbrella, the boss dismissed me early today since there wasn’t may costumers and because it was raining hard outside and according to the news it would be raining harder later.

I was fixing my things when I looked out and there, I saw Sungmin walking pass the café, I almost dropped my things but then I quickly fixed it and bolted out the shop, opening my umbrella and stalking walking quietly behind Sungmin.

Why was he walking outside, alone, in this weather, was he stupid? He’s a rich kid, he wasn’t used to this things, tsk!

I saw him crouch down to a box near the trash, I walked closer to have a better look of what he was doing, I crossed my eyebrows as he put his umbrella down over the box and started walking again, umbrellaless.

I sighed and ran to him, I stopped to look at the box he was fumbling over with, I gasped in awe as I saw kittens, so he’d rather be wet than let this kittens get wet, Lee Sungmin what the heck?!

I ran to him, and he gasped as I grabbed his wrists pulling him under my umbrella

“What the?!” he looked up and his eyes widened in shock as he saw me

“Kyuhyun? What are you doing? Let go of me”

He said and started struggling under my grip

“Yah! Stop that! I’m just preventing you from getting sick because of your stupidity, seriously?! Why’d you do that?” I said and he stopped struggling and looked at me instead

“cause I’m such a good person” he said and stuck his tongue out, I raised my eyebrows at him

“and why are you talking to me?! Weren’t you avoiding me?!” he said annoyed

I widened my eyes in surprise

“I was avoiding you?! YOU were avoiding me!” I said pointing at him

He lowered his head

“W-Why did you avoid me when I avoided you?! You didn’t even approach me!” he said fiercely

“What?! I thought you avoided me cause you didn’t want to talk to me!” I said raising my voice a little

“Well you should have at least tried to talk to me!!” He said raising his voice, almost yelling at me

“Are you telling me I’m wrong?!” I said matching my voice with his

“YES!!” he yelled

I stared at him in disbelief then smiled as I saw his cute mad face knowing I won’t win this argument.

“What are you smiling at you jerk?!” He said his face was practically red now

“Okay fine, I’m sorry I should’ve approached you” I said as I put one hand to cup his cheeks, which were quite red and hot.

He backed his head a little

“I’m sorry, it’s just that I got confused on why you were avoiding me, so I gave you some space, I thought maybe my confession was a little sudden so you backed away a little, honestly I got a little hurt, I thought you didn’t really like me, you just said it to make me feel better” I said, his face softened and he gave me a soft smile making my heart jump a little, he gave me a soft ‘oh’

Silence.

“I’m sorry” he said now looking away but still smiling

“Kyuhyun?”

“hmmm?”

“What does this make us?”

“I don’t know yet, let’s not put labels on this okay? I like you and you like me that’s what matters” I said looking at the blushing Sungmin

“Sungmin?”

“yes?” he looked at me with wide innocent eyes

“Let’s go I’ll walk you home” I said

“No you don’t have to you can go home now”

“but you don’t have an umbrella, you gave ‘em to those kittens” I said

“I’ll be alright” he said, aish! So stubborn!

“Lee Sungmin, it’s either you’ll take this umbrella and I’d get sick or I take you home” Sungmin glared and pouted at me

“Fine!”

ey yo! I'm back! :)) sorry for not updating for a long time School's being an and i have writers block so yeah it's crappy

anyway hope you still enjoyed the chapter 

I would be updating Death Sequence maybe next week? or tomorrow?
