CHAPTER 7

Sungmin’s POV

It has been two weeks since the biking thingy and Kyuhyun and I have been hanging out more, he’s actually not so bad once you get to know him, The rooftop was our escape place, for him, it was an escape from the flirty girls which I find slightly annoying and for me it was an escape from- I guess everything, the school, the people, the everything.

For some reason this place became our meeting place, I really don’t know why but when I go up here, Kyuhyun is always there and today wasn’t any different . There he was lying on the bench with some earphones with his eyes closed, I walked closer to him and squatted and right when I was in his level, I poked his cheeks.

Kyuhyun’s POV

I was lying on the bench with my earphones on, listening to the usual stuff. I looked at my watch for the nth time

Aish! Why is that bunny not here yet?

I decided to close my eyes for a while, when suddenly I felt warm breath against my skin, I tried to ignore the urge to smile as I know there is only one person who would be here at this time besides me he started poking my cheeks which I ignored, he started poking my cheeks more and this time I slowly opened my eyes only to be greeted by Sungmins’ smiling face

“hi kyu!”

He cheerfully said, I smiled at him

“bunny!! what took you so long, you were like 5 min. late than your regular time!!” I faked being mad at him, but he ignored it and smiled widely at me

“Did you wait for me kyu?” he said, the wide smile not leaving his face, I suddenly felt my face blush

“N-no of couse not! I was just wondering why you were late!” Aish this bunny!

“okay kyu! Whatever you sayyy~~” he said with a teasing tone, I ignored his tone and decided to sit up, he sat next to me

“Sungmin?”

“yeah?” he said focusing his eyes on the view

“Do you want to come with me after school?” I asked while fidgeting with my fingers

“huh? Where?”

“somewhere” I said while still fidgeting with my fingers, I don’t know why I’m feeling nervous, I’m just asking him to come with me right? We’re friends and friends hang-out with each other

“Sure!” turning to the left to face me

“but-“ he said hesitation on his face, making me more nervous, he’s not going to change his mind right? He just agreed

“Where are we going?” he said with his big curious eyes, he’s so cute, so cute that my nervousness was gone and was replaced by the bunny’s’ cuteness

I leaned closer to him and he backed away but I still leaned closer to him and before he could back up again I held his shoulders and leaned at his ears and whispered

“We’re going to one of my secrets” I felt Sungmin froze into his place even when I backed up again, I snapped my finger to get his attention

“Yah! We’re going to be late in class!” with that said I grabbed a startled Sungmins’ hands and dragged him.

I waited for Sungmin outside his class, he was moving slow and I was getting impatient

“palli!” I told him

Sungmins’ POV

“palii!”

“okay! Okay!” I said clearly annoyed

“What’s the rush anyway?” I asked

“I’m going to be late” he said

I was going to ask him where he’s going to be late but I decided not to, I know he won’t tell me anyway so I just kept my mouth shut and tried to move faster.

We were waiting for a bus where I usually wait for my bus, I’m still seriously curious about where we’re going, the only thing I know about it is that it’s one of his ‘secrets’ I was so out of my thoughts that I didn’t hear Kyuhyun calling my name.

“Sungmin! Come on! The bus is here” I looked up and was surprised to see bus # 5, where I ride everyday to go home, I looked at him confused plastered on my face, he just smiled at me and grabbed my hands and dragged me to the bus, we sat at the back and I looked at him curiously

“Kyuhyun?”

“hmmm?”

“Do you always ride this bus”

He looked at me and gave me a smirk

“Yessss”

“so you--?”

“yes, I see you everyday riding this bus, I really can’t believe that you haven’t seen me, I mean we ride the same bus almost every day, but you’re always in a hurry since you’re such a slow poke” he said with an annoying teasing grin

I puffed my cheeks out and glared at him

“I am not a slow poke!”

“ummmm, yes you are!”

“no I’m not!”

“yes you are!”

“no I’m not!”

“yes you are!”

I looked at him squinting my eyes and he looked back at me with the same daring eyes I was giving, I looked away and sighed in frustration

“I am not going to have this childish game with you!” I said

“Well you started it!”

“did not!”

“did too!”

“did not!”

“did too!”

“arghhh, you’re such a pain kyu!!”

“Oh!” he touched his chest dramatically “I am so touched!”

I pouted at him

“awww soo cute” he said as he pinched my cheeks

I crossed my arms and just sat quietly, after a few minutes the bus stopped at the bus stop and we went out.

“Kyuhyuuuun, please tell me where we’re going, I’m dying of curiosity here” I pleaded as we walked

“Nope, bunny has to be patient okay?”

“Fine!” I grumpily said, I walked close behind him, I got fascinated by the place, it was full of shops and cafés and food chains and restaurants with people happily walking and chatting, the atmosphere was happy and positive, I never really got the chance to explore this place because I always go home straight, I was so distracted by the view that I didn’t realize Kyuhyun stopping so I bumped into his back, he turned around and raised one eyebrow at me

“you.are.so.clumsy” he said monotonously, I glared at him

“Why’d you stop anyway?”

“We’re here!” he said a big grin to his face while spreading his arms out wide

I looked at him then to the place behind him, it was a small and quaint café called “soul city” it looked really cute, I got excited of what’s inside so I quickly grabbed Kyuhyun’s wrist and dragged him in the café.

It was gorgeous, the faint smell of coffee and cinnamon filling the place and tall, round coffee tables with a matching chair covered by leather against the glass wall that provides as a lighting in the area. Cakes, cupcakes and other sweets displayed inside a glass at the counter.

“Oh, Kyuhyun you finally decided to show up” A gorgeous, and I mean gorgeous, man standing behind the counters said with a scowl on his face

“you are late again for the nth time!” he said clearly annoyed

“whatever” was Kyuhyun’s answer, he glared at him but soon his face turned curious as he saw me besides Kyuhyun

“Who’s the little bunny boy?” Okay, I don’t really look like a bunny right? Kyuhyun smirked seeing my annoyed face

“This is Sungmin, the one I was talking to you about in the party last time” Kyuhyun coolly said like the man knew me from the start

“ooohhhh, THAT Sungmin” he said with a smirk, the guy walked towards me and gave me a smile

“I’m Heechul, the awesome, gorgeous guy who works with Kyuhyun at this café, you could call me hyung” I stared at him realizing he was just like Kyuhyun

I bowed at him and also gave him a smile

“It’s nice to meet you”

“Aish! Bunny don’t bow at that ‘full of himself’ guy” Kyuhyun said while looking at Heechul-hyung

“why you little—“ Heechul said while attempting to punch Kyuhyun but failed since Kyuhyun ducked away, I chuckled at them, they look like kids, Heechul decided to go back to work

“bunny! what are you laughing at?!” Kyuhyun said

“you” I said smugly, god! Kyuhyuns’ attitude is contagious, he glared at me

“What are we doing here anyway?”

“As you can see bunny, I work here” he said

I gave him a disbelieving look

“you mean ‘The great kingka Cho Kyuhyun’ works at a small and cute café”

He nodded

“That is SO not YOU” he rolled his eyes

“Why did you work at this place anyway? There are places closer than here where you could work” I asked

“Well, Minnie, I told you this was one of my secrets, I don’t really want anyone to know that I work at a café”

“oh” I said as he entered a door that says ‘employees only’

“wait for me okay? I just need to change my clothes” I nodded my head at him and he disappeared

I decided to sit at a chair near the counter, Heechul hyung came towards me making me feel intimidated by his mischievous stare

“So, welcome to the café” he said with a smirk on his face, why is he looking at me like that I mumbled a thank you at him and he leaned closer to me

“What have you done to Kyuhyun to make him bring you in his workplace where HE has been hiding for YEARS” he said

I widened my eyes at what he said

“W-What? I didn’t do anything to your friend!!”

“really? I think you blackmailed Kyuhyun to tell you some of his secrets and to be with him” he said with a teasing tone

I got nervous but soon I suddenly chuckled, realizing how stupid his statements was

“Why the heck are you laughing? No one laughs at the almighty Kim Heechul!” he said looking offended

“Sorry, but that thing you said is just too funny to bear !!” I said still laughing

“And what’s so funny about that?!” he said while crossing his arms

I looked at him and grinned “ I wouldn’t go through all that trouble just to see Cho” I said with a eww-that’s-disgusting tone

He suddenly grinned widely

“yah brat! I really like this bunny!” he said to Kyuhyun

Kyuhyun just finished changing and just got out of the room when he heard Heechul-hyung

“huh? Oh! Glad you like him” he said while busily fixing his work uniform

Hyung and I looked at each other with mischievous smiles on our faces before he walked away to go back to work

“So? What can you say about THIS secret of mine huh?” Kyuhyun said walking towards me

“THIS secret? You mean there’s more?” I said

“well, I did tell you that I have a lot of secrets right? Some I can’t even tell”  he said matter of factly

I pouted at him “What do you mean some you can’t even tell? Don’t you trust me?” I said feeling sad he doesn’t trust me

“min, it’s not that I don’t trust you” he said as he sat across from me

“It’s just that—some are a little too complicated okay? Some I don’t even want to remember”

“Well, okay” I said not satisfied with his answer, he ruffled my hair

“Stop pouting okay? You look so ugly when you pout” he said teasingly

“YAH!”

“Kyuhyun! Get back to work or I’ll tell boss you’re slacking off again!” Heechul-hyung shouted

“Then I’ll tell him that you’re seriously in-lo—

Kyuhyun was cut off by a flying bread that landed directly on top of his head.

poor bread.

“Oww” Kyuhyun groaned in pain

Heechul chuckled darkly

“That’s what you get when you dare mess with the great Kim Heechul”

“Whatever! You’ll have to pay for that bread you know!!” Kyuhyun shouted

“No Sherlock, It was totally worth it!”

Kyuhyun glared at him, I giggled at them

Seriously?! How old are these guys?!

Kyuhyun looked at me weirdly

“What?!” I said

“What are you laughing at?”

I poked his nose

“you, and how childish you are” I said teasingly

“Ohhh, said the clumsy and slow poke bunny, who eats caramel sundae’s like it was made of gold!” he answered back

We had a glaring contest but he suddenly smiled and pinched my cheeks

“glaring doesn’t suit you bunny! you’re still so cute even when you glare, leave the glaring to the experts okay? Like me” he said, I just rolled my eyes at him.

The bell of the shop rang signaling a customer was in

“Oh, bunny, I have to go work okay? Would you be okay?”

“yeah, sure kyu, go to work” I said with a smile

I watched him as he served the customers, so different from the bad-boy at school

I got bored so I just looked out the window, watching the people passing-by and admiring the quaint shops and boutiques

After a few minutes, I heard footsteps going my way, I turned around to see Kyuhyun, holding a tray with a beverage on it, as he came towards me he smiled, I just noticed how he looked so y with his work outfit, white button-up polo shirt leaving 2 on the top ed, black slacks hugging his legs perfectly, with black leather shoes.

“Caramel frappe for the bunny” he said with his killer smile

“Um, t-thank you K-kyu” I said suddenly stuttering

He smiled once again before leaving to go back to work

What is happening to me? Why do I suddenly feel like this, I touched my chest to feel the fast beating of my heart.

Cho Kyuhyun what did you do to me?

I seriously tried to add as much fluff as I can but I can't really put fluffiness overload yet, cause they just became good friends

anyway so how'd you like the chapter ? hope it wasn't lame cause I got serious writers block, thus the reason of my late update 

I personally love the cheek poking thingy that minnie did, it was just too cute for me
