CHAPTER 15

Sungmin’s POV

I was constantly reviewing in Math, I was so surprised when one of my classmates told me that there was a quiz today and it would count for 10 % of our grades, ugh! Great!  And I didn’t even understand anything from the lessons these past few weeks!

And now I’m sitting under this tree, from a far I think I’d look dreamy, but then when you come closer I look like someone stuck between constipation and dehydration.

I freakin hate Math.

“Okay so 5x plus 5x is equal to 10x? okay so you’re just going to add the number, Then that means 5x times 5x is equal to 25x!” I mumbled quietly to myself

“You’re wrong my dear” A low whisper sounded through my ears, I didn’t have to turn around to know who it was, I made a confused face

“and what’s wrong with it?” I said turning around to face Kyuhyun

He smiled and sat next to me

“You should also multiply the x you know” Kyuhyun said matter of factly

“but Kyu~ you can’t multiply a letter!” I said

“Seriously Min? They teach this at freshmen” He said scooting closer to me, our sides touching

He took the book I was reading and explained it to me

~~30 excruciating minutes later~~

“And that’s how you get it, Do you understand now?” I looked at him, and that’s when I noticed that we were centimeters apart, his head lowered like that, looking at the book and pointing at stuffs I really can’t understand, A small smile tugged on my lips, I have no idea this man is so ……………

My heart skipped a bit when he tore his gaze from the book and looked at me, He smirked

“So THIS is the reason why you’re not paying attention to what I was saying” He said as he point at his face

He came closer to me and I was so dazed, Our faces a mere centimeters apart, him smirking like that, making me smile. It’s like the world stopped for a moment.

He leaned down and I swore I could hear my heartbeat and just when our lips are about to touch, the bell rang.

Yes, people, the bell rang, and I pulled back, my face as red as tomato, when I looked at him he was smirking and staring at me.

Is it alright if we stay here and cut classes?

No

I gathered all my things and bid goodbye to him, thanking him for his tutoring, I ran inside the campus my heart still beating fast, and you can guess why it is.

Now if I could only remember everything Kyuhyun said instead of an image of a smirking Cho in my mind

As expected, I failed!!!! I’m gonna get ripped apart when my parents find out I’m flunking Math. This is probably the only time I’d be happy they’re too busy to care about my grades.

Now for happy hour, LUNCH!

Would I eat at the rooftop you ask?

Well no, Donghae pulled me to the cafeteria before I even blink

Okay fine I’m exaggerating, but he told me has something super important to tell me, and as the amazing best friend I am, I’m supposed to listen.

“So what is it Donghae?” I said as we were sitting at our regular table with Yesung hyung and Wookie, we looked at him expectantly

“Well..” he took a deep breath as he shifted his eyes left to right, I rolled my eyes, typical Donghae

“Just spill it fish!” He pouted at me

“but I was giving that dramatic effect like in the movies” We all looked at him with an I-don’t-care look

“Okay fine! Hyukkie and I are officially dating!” We all looked at him like what he said was nothing

“Hello? Guys? Aren’t you a little bit shocked at all?” He said disappointed we weren’t as excited as he thought we would be

“Hae, it was kind of bound to happen, we were all kind of expecting that already” I said

“Yeah, I mean sometimes you guys are sweeter than me and my wookie here” Yesung hyung said, Ryeowook nodded his head in agreement

Donghae looked at us with wide eyes

“We weren’t THAT obvious……….. are we?” We all nodded

I started drinking the grape juice I had, hmmm not bad

“So Sungminnie, when are you planning to date my bratty dongsaeng” I almost spat out my juice because of what Yesung hyung said, I coughed harshly before regaining my composure

“W-what are you talking about?!” I said widening my eyes at him

“oh yeah right you guys are already dating” he said while chewing on his bread

“Wait what?” I said but it was like I said nothing

“but not officially” I looked at him confused, how the fudge does he know about this?

“Kyuhyun told me” he said as if reading my mind

“really? They’re dating?” Wookie said

“yes, but no labels dear”

“aww, why not? That’s stupid” Donghae said

 “Did you just call me stupid? Indirectly?” they kept talking like I said nothing

“I know right, I mean they both like each other right? Why no labels?”  Wookie said

“OMG, How can you guys talk about that while I’m here?! Can’t you at least wait until I leave?” And again they ignored me

I love my friends

OMG I can’t believe this

Yesung hyung dragged me to the café where Kyuhyun works

I covered my face with my hands as we went inside

“yesung hyung~ what are we doing here? I want to go home” I whined

“No, we’re just going to buy, s’all” he said

Heechul was at the counter

“So that’s why I felt a weird aura at this café, what are you doing here” Heechul hyung said with his diva-ish tone

“geez, Heechul hyung thanks for that warm welcome” Yesung said

“yah! Take that hyung off, I feel old! Only the cute bunny who’s standing behind you covering his face in a failed attempt to hide from Cho who is now changing his clothes in the employee room is allowed to call me hyung” I widened my eyes as I took my hands down and looked at Heechul hyung with disbelief

“Ho-howwwww? How do you knowwwwww??? ” I said

He blew at his nails

“Cause I’m awesome” I stupidly blinked

And just then Kyuhyun came out and on impulse I turned around but before I could even walk out, Yesung hyung had already grabbed me by the wrist, I tugged on it but of course he didn’t let go

“Oh! Hyung what are you doing here?” Kyuhyun said clearly confused

“And who’s that behind you?” he said curiously

“wait, don’t tell me, is that you Min?” I turned around slowly and smiled nervously at him

“surprise” I said awkwardly as I waved my hand

He blinked then shook his head

“What are you doing here Lee Sungmin?” he said now smiling at me

Oh my God how can my name sound so beautiful when he says it?

“geez, I’m also here you brat” Yesung hyung said

Kyuhyun ignored him

“So are you here to visit me sweetheart?” He said as he smirked

I scoffed

“Noooo, Yesung hyung and I are here to buy” his smirk was wiped off but was replaced by a smile

“Then why at this café?”

“I don’t know! Your brother dragged me here!” I said

“Then why did you let him drag you? You do know hyung is the weakest person ever” he said

“Yah! You brat! What did you say?! ” Yesung hyung said annoyed

But Kyuhyun ignored him…again

“ummm, w-well uhh” I fidgeted, I don’t know what to say! And the jerk’s smile got wider

“Yah! Stop doing that to my poor Sungminnie” Heechul hyung said coming closer to me and putting his arm around my shoulder

“What do you mean by YOUR Sungminnie?” Kyuhyun said one eyebrow raised

“It means he’s MY Sungminnie, now get back to work you brat!”

Kyuhyun could only whine in protest, which was ignored by Heechul, they got back to work as Kyuhyun went behind the counter and Heechul went inside the Kitchen

Now where is Yesung hyung? I didn’t even notice him disappear

I walked to the counter and thankfully I saw Yesung hyung there standing and again, arguing with Kyuhyun

“Come on Kyu, just buy your hyung a cup of vanilla frappe” he said

Kyuhyun only looked at him with an expressionless face

“If you don’t I’ll throw your game console, remember I come home earlier than you do today” and with that he got Kyuhyun’s attention

“Fine, do that, but remember not to sleep tonight” Kyuhyun said with a menacing stare

Yesung held his two hands up

“Nevermind then I still want to see Wookie, thank you very much”

I chuckled and went closer

Kyuhyun immediately changed from his menacing glare to his amazing smile

“And what would you want dear, get anything, it’s on the house” I smiled and looked over the menu

I could see Yesung hyung at the side of my eyes, looking at Kyuhyun with his mouth wide open and his eyes a look of betrayal.

“gee thanks Kyu, I can see how much you love me” I giggled and finally picked the Caramel frappe, I don’t even know why I took that long to pick, Kyuhyun took my order, Yesung hyung picked the vanilla frappe, which he paid for…grudgingly, we waited for our order by the counter.

“Sungminnie I need to use the bathrrom okay?” I nodded my head and he went away

Kyuhyun and I were left alone, he was arranging a bunch of papers at the counter, he was looking so focused, lining everything so precisely, and when it gets just a teensy weensy bit messed up, he shakes his head while making a ‘tsk’ sound looking really displeased then messes up the entire arrangement to start all over again.

I leaned on the table, propping my elbows on the counter top, and resting my chin on the back of both my hands. I smiled as I saw Kyuhyun so….clean

“I didn’t know there’s this OCDic side of you” I said gaining his attention

He slightly smiled looking embarrassed

“you noticed huh?” he said scratching his nape

“who wouldn’t? you’re so focused!” he chuckled

“I am?” I nodded my head

“Tell me, why is Cho Kyuhyun acting so OCDic right now?” I asked looking right into his eyes

He mirrored my pose, propping his elbows and resting his chin on the back of his hands

“tell me, why is Lee Sungmin so curious?” he said smirking at me

I widened my eyes getting suddenly shy, I straightened up my position averting my gaze to anywhere but his eyes

He chuckled

“You’re so cute do you know that?” I looked at him and scrunched my nose

“Whatever”

Yesung hyung got back just as our orders were given

“Well I got to get going” hyung said

“I’ll go with you, bye Kyu”

We walked out the café, I waited for my bus as hyung said goodbye to walk to their house

After waiting for several minutes my bus finally arrived but just when I was about to ride it, a hand grabbed my wrist and before I knew it, I saw Cho Kyuhyun’s face so close to mine, his eyes closed, his lips on mine.

It was not what I imagined, it was better.

Soft, warm, it was the sweetest thing, sweeter than caramel, but at the same time bitter, not the bitter you hate, it’s like the bitterness of coffee, It’s the taste you get addicted to, before I could respond, he pulled away.

And now I’m seeing a smirking Cho, centimeters away from me

“bye Sungminnie” he whispered, I was still so dazed so I couldn’t move a muscle

He smiled and pushed me towards the bus

“Go! You’ll miss your bus!”

I got back to my senses and quickly climbed up the bus, sitting on the nearest vacant seat I see. I looked outside the window as the bus moved, seeing Kyuhyun wave at me smiling.

That’s when I realized that my heart was beating so fast.

Yesung’s POV

I was drying my hair as someone knocked on the door

“Coming!” I yelled

I ran towards the door but a chair was STUPIDLY in the middle and as the clumsy guy I am, of course I tripped, yey!

The knock got louder and more impatient

“Yah! Wait!” I yelled, this person is annoying

The knock only got louder and there was constant banging now

Aish ! so annoying! I finally reached the door opening it immediately

“Yah! Don’t you know how to kno----”

A smirking man stood in front of me and I boiled in ager

“Long time no see Kim Jongwoon”

“What the are you doing here?!”

soooo I updated! and i made them kiss! 

Have you noticed i've been super fluffing the chapters? 

well I have, and the reason is that drama is coming this way baby! as you noticed on my cliff hanger, yes people I call that cliff hanger!

But I'll still put fluff cause I'm addicted to it! :)
