Chapter 7: Unknown’s Dream

Unknown’s P.O.V

The room’s quietness seemed to have woke me up from my slumber and that’s strange. What made me wake up? I looked around my room, and it felt so foreign, so eerie; I stood up from my bed and quickly went out of my room.

I was walking down the stairs and it took me minutes to reach the ground floor of the house.

I slowly observed my surroundings and I realized that I was at my new home. I was still getting use to the feeling that my new home is giving me.

I noticed that the house was unusually quiet. Where is everybody?

That’s weird. The house was usually rowdy and noisy.

Both of my feet were dragging me towards the living room. I could hear faint breathing coming from the couch. Somebody must be sleeping.

I carefully tiptoed my way to the couch, planning to surprise the person who was sleeping there.

I was taken by surprise when I saw a girl. Why is there a girl in the house?

Her face was kind of blurry. Why?

I rubbed my eyes to check if I was imagining stuff but she was still there, sleeping peacefully.

Even though I can’t completely see her face, I could tell she’s beautiful.

Her hair was long and wavy, which flowed beautifully on her shoulders. Her hair was brown that had the tint of black to it, making her face stand out more.

She looked like an angel. She looked so delicate and fragile.

I noticed that she was holding onto a book. Maybe she dozed off from reading.

I slowly approach her sleeping body. I sat down beside the couch and slowly pulled the book out of her hand; I carefully put it on the table next to the couch. Then, I started to poke her cheeks. Wow, they were soft.

She scrunched her nose as I was poking her cheeks and still her face was still blurry.

Maybe she got irritated from all the poking that she decided to open her somehow big eyes. Wow, they were mesmerizing. I was quickly drowned by her eyes. It was full of love and gentleness. I have never seen that before aside from my friends. We stared at each other for quite a while. She suddenly smiled at me and ruffled my hair as she sits up slowly.

My heart skipped a beat from her breathe taking smile. Her smile is so beautiful. I suddenly felt a new feeling stirring in me.

Who is this girl?

This is the first time that a girl could make me feel this way and she seems to know me, but why is it that I don’t know her? I can’t seem to recollect any memories of her.

She was holding both of my hands, and she was playing with our fingers then our fingers suddenly became intertwined, making my heart beat faster than usual. God, what is she doing to me, who is this girl?

Her hands were soft and warm as she holds my sweaty cold hands. I felt something wrong going on with my stomach, it felt queasy. This is my very first time to feel this way towards anyone.

I love the warmth of her hands and it seems that I don’t want to let go of her hands anymore. I felt so happy holding her hands, I love the warm feeling she was giving me, and I want to see her beautiful smile again. I felt complete having her by my side….

Huh?! What am I thinking about?!

My body suddenly stood up, and I quickly sat beside her. Wait, what am I doing?

My body seems to be doing things on its own.

I suddenly wrapped my hand on her shoulder and we started to rock side by side. Why am I acting childish?! This is so not me! I bet she’ll be turned off, wait, why am I even bothered by that?! I don’t even know this girl, but I like her. Wait What?! But to my surprise she just giggled softly at my act.

Wow, that was music to my ears.

After a while, she rested her head on my shoulder. The scent of vanilla started to flood my nose. It must be her natural scent. I immediately loved her sweet scent. She smelt like cream and marshmallow.

Before I could be completely drown by her scent, I saw a Polaroid camera lying in front of us, and I quickly grabbed it.

We started to take pictures and we were doing some crazy and wacky faces. We were just laughing our hearts out, enjoying each others presence. Wow, I’m actually having fun with a girl. That’s very shocking.

I started to tease and compliment her. Her cheeks were now in the shade of pink. Cute, she was blushing while hitting my arm gently.  She’s very adorable. I knew she couldn’t handle compliments very well.

I froze. My eyes widen at the fact that slipped into my mind.

What the-?

She suddenly checked her watch and she stood up abruptly. It seems that she was about to leave so I quickly grabbed her wrist.

“Stay, please?” I blurted out.

What am I saying?

She stared at me gently and she just smiled. Again, my heart skipped a beat from her smile. I grew to love her smile even more.

 I started to pat my lap-indicating her to lay her head on my lap.

She knew what I exactly meant and she did so. I started to her soft hair.

“Don’t ever leave me, okay?” I said softly as I stared at her eyes.

I didn’t even bother to stop my mouth from saying things anymore; I just let my body do things it wanted to do. I can’t help it; this body of mine won’t let me control it anymore.

Confusion struck her beautiful face, but she just nodded on my request.

I sighed softly. My heart was now beating faster. She started to caress my face gently. I suddenly tensed up from her touch. I could feel that my face is burning up, and I could tell that my cheeks were in the shade of red.

 Worry was drawn on her face. She quickly slipped her right hand on my forehead. She sighed, knowing that I don’t have a fever.

Few minutes passed and she started to sing my favorite song.

Her voice is so beautiful and I love hearing that song, especially if she is the one singing it. It was melodies to my ears. I always feel so relax whenever I hear her sing and it didn’t failed to make me sleep when I’m a having a hard time to sleep.

I just realized that I was smiling and again, that’s shocking. We were smiling gently at each other, as she finishes the song. Her smile is so genuine.

I suddenly remembered the book that she was holding onto earlier. I decided to read it out loud and finish it for her. I carefully grabbed the book that was lying where I exactly placed it.

I started to read it for her while I was her soft hair.

Couple of minutes had passed and I noticed that her breathing was getting slower and heavier. Her eyes started to close as drowsiness took over her body.

“Don’t leave me” I managed to say before she completely closed her eyes.

I stared at her face, and again, her face is blurry. Why? I want to see her face, but why can’t I see her face clearly?

I implanted a soft kiss on her forehead as I was caressing her face. I leaned my head to the couch while staring at her.

I yawned. I felt sleepy all of a sudden but before I could completely doze off to sleep, I managed to say a few words.

“I need you”

I felt a pillow thrown at me that made me wake up. I inwardly groaned for my sleeping was disturbed. While I was sitting up, I heard a snicker from that person who quickly fled the room. I immediately knew who did that. He’ll get a good beating later. Be prepared.

 “Good Morning” My roommate was fixing his bed.

I yawned. “Morning” I replied sleepily.

“What time is it?” I asked my roommate with my eyes closed.

“Wait, let me check” My roommate checked his watch, while I was sleepily watching him. “9:13. Go take a shower, we’ll be leaving after you eat your breakfast” he answered while showing me his smile.

“Why?” I asked again rubbing my eyes. Stupid sun. It’s so bright.

“We have to finish unpacking the other boxes, that was left at our rented boarding house and we still have to fix something regarding school” He said while closing the door.

Oh right, school. Augh! I hate it, and why did we have to move, it was perfectly fine in our previous home, oh whatever.

I yawned again and went out of my bed. I wanted to sleep longer but it seems that we will be busy for the rest of day. No choice. I went to the window and I stared at the clear sky while stretching my body. The weather felt great and I love it.

I was rather zoning out when I remembered my dream last night.

My eyes widen at the sudden realization and a tear managed to escape my eye.
