Chapter 10: The Transferees (Part 2)

(Author’s POV)

Meanwhile at Section 1-C

When Ran Yeon and Seo Hyun entered their classroom, and they quickly noticed that the girls were somewhat hyper about something, but they just shrugged it off, as they head out to their seats. They already got used to their unusual behavior. This was their everyday behavior.

Like Yun Jae and Jae Min, they were sited at the corner of the classroom, but they were at the right side, also near to the window which showed the sky. Their front, side and back desks were empty also.

Seo Hyun and Ran Yeon pulled out their head phones and they immediately plugged it to their ears. They decided to sleep for a while since the teacher hadn’t arrived yet.

Minutes passed by and they hadn’t heard that the teacher had already arrived. They’re heads was still resting on top of their desks. They were about to completely dozed off when a crumpled piece of paper was thrown at the both of them, making them groggily sat up right.

Seo Hyun was rubbing her tired eyes while Ran Yeon was stretching.

“Who did that?” Seo Hyun asked Ran Yeon whose eyes were still closed.

Ran Yeon pulled out her head phones. “I don’t know…”

Seo Hyun noticed the classroom was unusually quiet as she pulled her head phones out, too.

She raised one of her brows. “What’s happening?” Seo Hyun asked again.

Ran Yeon lazily opened her eyes “I don’t know…”

Seo Hyun noticed something again; her classmates were looking rather weirdly at them. She glanced at the teacher who seemed irritated and to the boys who were in front.

She frowned. “Why are they looking at us?” Seo Hyun asked again.

Ran Yeon shrugged “I don’t know; ask them” She pointed to her classmates, and Seo Hyun innocently followed what she said.

“Why are you guys looking at us?” Seo Hyun tried to ask her classmates but they shook their heads in response.

Some sighed and some just face-palmed at their embarrassing actions.

“Seo Hyun-sshi and Ran Yeon-sshi please stand up.” the teacher suddenly called out.

They froze. “Yes Ma’am?” Both of them asked together as they awkwardly stand up at the same time.

“Why were you two sleeping at my class?” The teacher asked, fuming with anger.

“…..”

Both of them didn’t make any sound. They were too afraid to say something and anything stupid at that matter. It will only lead them to a bigger trouble, so they remained silent, which was their best choice.

 Their teacher just sighed heavily at their silence.

“For your punishment, I’ll assign the both of you to a job.”

A frown quickly formed in Ran Yeon’s face when she heard the word ‘Job’. She doesn’t want to do anything that is related to the word ‘Job’. She was just too lazy.

“You will tour and guide these boys around the campus.”

The whole girls in the class groaned except for Ran Yeon and Seo Hyun who were slightly confused.

Seo Hyun and Ran Yeon’s eyes quickly analyzed the boys.

The boy who was standing next to the teacher was smirking handsomely at them, it was like the boy is actually flirting at them, and they just shivered at the boy. From the looks of it, he’s clearly a playboy and they wanted to wipe that smirk at his face that was somehow stuck on his face.

The second boy looked so cute. He had a baby-face and he was smiling adorably at them. Both of them agreed that maybe this guy is innocent but they can’t really trust their instincts, looks can be deceiving after all.

The third one was wearing a charming smile, but not those flirty ones like the one that the smirking boy was giving them. It was more like a bright genuine smile.  They could tell that this guy must be the matured one among them and that was he is a gentlemen.

The fourth one was also wearing a smile. The guy was smiling while showing a dimple on his right cheek. Cute was all they could say for the guy. He looks decent and nice.

The fifth one was smiling with his big doe eyes.  They strongly controlled themselves from pinching the cute boy. He looked adorable and cute just like the baby-faced guy and the dimpled-guy.

The last one was smiling rather shyly at them. He was fidgeting in his position and it looked like he wanted to hide. He was being shy, Cute.

“Huh? Why us? We don’t even know them.” Seo Hyun said as soon as they finished analyzing the guys.

Their teacher rubbed her temples for she was dead tired of dealing with the girls. The boys already introduced themselves when they were dozing off.

“Could you boys please introduce yourselves again, for them?” Their teacher asked. Stress was written all over her face.

“Sure,” the boy who was smirking at them said.

“I’m Kim Jongin, but you can call me Kai.” he said, smirking at them again. Seo Hyun and Ran Yeon swore in their minds that they could puke anytime now, they don’t like playboys at all. Girls in class were immediately swooned by his looks and smirk.

“I’m Luhan! Nice to meet you girls~” The baby faced boy said cheerfully at them.

The girls in the class cooed at his cute face while Seo Hyun and Ran Yeon’s face stayed neutral.

“My name is Kim Joonmyun! But you can call me Suho! Please take care of us~” The third one said while bowing. Yup, definitely a gentleman. Both of them thought.

“Hello! I’m Lay!” The dimpled boy said. Dimples~ Both of them slightly smiled.

“Hi! I’m Do Kyungsoo, but please call me D.O” the boy with the big doe eyes said. Cute~ They controlled the grin that was about to form on their faces.

“My name is Kim Jongdae, call me Chen” the shy boy said. Aww~

What a bunch of gentlemen. Seo Hyun and Ran Yeon thought as they took pity on them. They wondered if the boys could actually survive high school while having those kinds of faces. They looked like a bunch of softies too. Girls will surely follow them around.

 “Ok, so how much is our payment?” Seo Hyun asked.

The teacher’s eyes widened, “What payment? There’s no such thing as payment!”

Seo Hyun face turned serious, “Ran Yeon, take care of this.” Seo Hyun ordered.

Ran Yeon quickly nodded. “Ma’am, we don’t do charity. I’m a good negotiator, we can make a deal.” Ran Yeon said proudly with a smirk.

“No, thank you.” Their teacher said sternly.

“Ok, no payment, no tour. Unnie sit down” Ran Yeon said to Seo Hyun who was secretly preparing her voice recorder.

Little did the teacher know, she just fell to Ran Yeon’s trap.

Seo Hyun was about to sit down when their teacher spoke up again.

“I haven’t told you to sit down.”

Seo Hyun straightens up her stand and she quickly pushes the recording button.

“Since you girls are stubborn, I’m going to agree with your so called ‘negotiation’-” The teacher quoted.

The girls high-fived each other. They now can buy the book they always wanted to buy. But it seems the teacher hadn’t finish talking. Their happiness was cut early.

“-But I’m not going to give you money as your labor.”

The girls groaned.

“Instead, I’m going to give you plus grades, so how about it? Deal or No deal”

The girls fell silent; the deal was OK so they give in.

“You’re good; I’m keeping an eye on you.” Ran Yeon said as she narrowed her eyes on the teacher.

Seo Hyun and Ran Yeon slowly tared at each other, and nodded, “The deal seems OK, so we agree.” Ran Yeon concluded.

“And remember to keep your words teacher, we recorded it.” Seo Hyun evilly smiled while showing her the voice recorder.

The teacher’s mouth hung open; these girls could be really wise sometimes. She just shook her head.

“Guys, please take your seats at the vacant desks besides them” the teacher said while pointing.

The boys quietly took their seats and their lessons had started.
