“Come run faster, we might not make it.” Gui gui said as she pull Aaron’s hand.

“Where are you taking me?”

“Don’t ask… just follow me. Were getting near.” She said with a wide grin.

Aaron shook his head.

Aaron’s POV: “She’s such a kid.”

“Were here!” Gui gui Announced.

“We’re just in time come, sit beside me.” She added.

Aaron comfortably sat beside her.

“We still have one minute before the sun set.”

Aaron looks at her with amusement then he lets out a smile.

“You’re unbelievable.” He said while staring at her. He just can’t erase the smile on his lips.

“This part of the riverbank is the best place to watch sunset.” She said in full excitement.
She looks at her watch and lets out a smile.

“It’s starting lets start the countdown.”

“10…9…8…7…”

As the countdown begins Aaron looks at her. He could see her eyes glitter as she watches
the sun. He just can’t take his eyes off her. She’s not a perfect beauty but her cuteness
and charm covers all her imperfection. He didn’t know why he notice it just now or
maybe he does see it he just didn’t pay so much attention. He had the urge to touch her
face. His heartbeat is getting faster and louder that he can’t seem to notice anything else.

“Beautiful” he murmured.

Gui gui turned to look at him. She smiles upon seeing him looking at the fading sun.

Aaron was laid on his bed all confuse. He could never deny the fact that today is one of
the best days of his life. He couldn’t erase Gui gui’s image from his mind.

“I think I’m going CRAZY” he complained.

Aaron closes his eyes yet Gui gui’s smiling face is all that he sees. It’s the first time ever
that he felt that way. The mere thought of her is enough to make his heartbeat fast.

Aaron Quickly grabs his phone and dialed Jiro’s number. Jiro is his best guy friend. He
knew he’ll be able to understand what his going through.

“Wei?” Jiro said in a sleepy voice.

“It’s me Aaron, I need your help.”

“Don’t you know what time it is already?” Jiro complained.

Aaron looks at the clock… it’s almost 1 am he never realize the time.

“Stop complaining, this is urgent!”

“Ok what is it?” Jiro ask in uninterested tone. He’s use to him calling out of the blue
saying it’s an emergency ended up he’s just bored and wanted someone to talk to.

“I can’t seem to her out of my mind”

“Eh? Who?” Jiro suddenly got interested.

Aaron lets out a sigh.

“Gui gui” he whispered.

“Oh Gui gui… wait Gui gui, your best friend?” Jiro confirmed.

“Yeah” Aaron admitted.

He suddenly heard laugher from the other line.

“I knew it!” Jiro exclaimed.

“But I shouldn’t be feeling like this… is like my sister. We basically grew up together.
She…I… God! Ahhh! This is crazy!” Aaron started complaining.

“Hey relax! Why don’t you give your self time to think” Jiro advise.

“I know but just a day with her makes me realize so many things.”

“You being in love with her could mean trouble. Are you ready to take the risk?” Jiro ask.

Aaron fell silent he’s not sure of the answer to his question and he didn’t know whether
he wants to find out. He felt sudden fear, fear of losing everything. He’s afraid of what the future might holds.
