I stand outside my apartment and keep thinking to my self ‘should i do this? am i ready? is she ready’ my brain is spinning around and i lean on the door.. i lost all my balance when someone suddenly open the door
“omo! kyuhyun, what are you doing? i’m so sorry” seohyun said and she help me stand up
“are you ok? i’m so sorry i thought some one was knocking on the door, why didn’t you come in?” she ask me and my face still red because i was embarrassed and well.. hurt my
“umm.. nothing i was just thinking about something” i said trying to avoid this conversation
i walk inside and i give jangmi a kiss on the forehead and i sit next to her, she’s holding a crayon and draw a lot of random circles
“i have something to show youuu” seohyun said with excitement and give me a paper with a drawings and writings i read the big words on top that says “SEOKYUMI’S DAY OF FUN”
under the words there’s a list of things to do:
- Go to the coffee house to buy coffee for lazy appa and cool omma
- Go to the market to buy jangmi's milk and snack
- go to the amusement park and HAVE FUN!
- eat lunch at jangmi's favorite restaurant ^^
- go to the toy store to buy jangmi's present
- go to the bakery to pick up jangmi's birthday cake
- blow the candles and jangmi's officially 1 YEAR OLD!!
i laugh and look at seohyun who's pouting, i pinch her cheek "you're so cute.. and seokyumi?"
she smiled and say "it means seohyun, kyuhyun and jangmi!! so? what do you think?"
i look at the paper one more time and i look at the bottom part.. there’s a picture of her and there’s a words says “this list is created by SEOHYUN (the best omma ever) ^^” i smile and i look at her
“this is perfect” i lean closer and give her a kiss on her cheek, "and yes, you're the best omma ever"
she’s blushing and she’s looking at me
“what? you just gonna stay there?” i ask her
“huh?” she said with confuse cute face!!
“i already kiss you, now it’s your turn” i said and making my cheek closer to her.. she’s leaning over to kiss my cheek and when she get closer i turn my face so we end up kissing on the lips, she was shock and step back but i just smile and wink
“yah! what are you doing??” she said with a red face
“what? you’re the one who lean over and kiss me!!” i said pointing my finger at her
“i thought ... the cheek.. you were.. aish” she can’t even say anything
“haha i’m just kidding” i said and i kiss her forehead, she look at me and smile .. we just stay there looking at each other.. this is the awkward moment that i like.. because i can stare at her and look into her eyes.. her very beautiful eyes
we both got shock when suddenly a crayon flew in front of our face.. we turn our heads to jangmu and she’s laughing
“yah! what are you doing? why did you do that?” seohyun said with a funny voice and she take jangmi into her lap
“don’t do that again ok? it’s not nice” she said and she kiss her
“i’m gonna put her to sleep in her room, ok? we have to go early tomorrow ^^” seohyun said and she get up
“okk! don’t take too long! i’m gonna miss you” i said giving her puppy face
“aish..” she said and she stuck her tongue

SEOHYUN’S POV
i walk back to the living room as soon as jangmi’s asleep, kyuhyun is sitting on the couch and watching tv
“what took you so long? i miss you already” he said with that face AGAIN
he’s juts to adorable i can’t resist him! i sit next to him and lean on him, he open his arm so i’m sleeping on his chest and his arm is around me
“are you ok?” i ask him
“huh? of course, why?”
“well, earlier today.. when you got home, what are you really doing outside?” i ask him
“like i told you, i was thinking about something” he said
“which is?” i ask again and he look at me, i feel bad for pushing him to answer
“sorry.. i don’t mean to push you to tell me.. it’s just i’m concern” i apologize
he just look at me and kiss my forehead.. this time it’s not like the usual kiss, he kiss my forehead longer that usual, he close his eyes and he hold my head so my forehead’s press to his lips.. he pull away but still hugging me and say
“i just.. i was thinking about how perfect my life is” he said
i look at him and i lean closer to his face and kiss him on the lips..
“i love you” i said and hug him

“we’re here!” i said when we get off the car, we walk to the ticket booth
“how many ticket miss?” the lady at the booth ask me
“2 adults and 1 child please” i said, while she’s typing i look at jangmi
“saeng-il chugha jangmi-ah” i kiss jangmi’s cheek
“haha you just can’t stop say that” kyuhyun said and he pinch my cheek
“hee hee i’m just so happy that today’s finally here, she’s finally 1 year old” i said
“umm.. excuse me, is today her birthday?” the lady on the ticket booth ask
“uh? um yeah” i said a little bit shy.. no reason.
“wow! you’re lucky, we’re having a promo for birthday person. we’re giving you birthday package.. you just have to pay for half price each ticket and we will give you a card so you can get any kind of food for free” she said and giving me the card
“wow!! really? thanks a lot!!” i said and i take the card
“omo, you hear that jangmi?” i said
“i know today’s gonna be a good day” kyuhyun said and he smile at me
“gamsahabnida” i said and we get inside

we spend half our day at the amusement park and we have lunch there, even though it’s not what i have planned but we got free food and it’s not bad so we decided to have lunch there, jangmi had the best time.. i can tell from her look that she’s so happy today, she can’t stop laughing when we’re watching the dolphin show and she love the parade there.
even though kyuhyun and i can’t ride the extreme ride such as roller coaster and stuff, we’re still having a very good time
we finally arrive at the bakery, we’re here to take jangmi’s cake
“annyeonghaseyo” the lady greet us
“hi ^^ we’re here to take the order under the name cho?” i ask her
“oh wait let me check” she said and she’s looking at the computer
“oh yeah, the rose birthday cake?” the lady ask
“yes that’s right” i said
“i’ll be right back with your cake mrs. cho” she said
wait.. what did she just call me? i look at kyuhyun and he look shock.. omo this is not good.. i’m afraid that he will think that i want to be his wife this soon.. well i do want to be his wife but not now!! what if he’s freaking out??
“i.. i’m sorry, i should’ve use my name” i apologize to him
“wh.. why?! you don’t like my name?? it sounded so good ‘mrs. cho’” he joke and he laugh
“no.. i’m serious, it’s ok” he said and he smile
i smile at him, how can he be so nice? i just smile and keep looking at him while he’s holding jangmi and play with her
“mrs. cho” the lady call me
kyuhyun wink at me and i laugh, i walk to the cashier
“how old is she?” the lady ask while pointing to jangmi
“she’s one year old” i said
“oh ok then, as a gift we will give you this birthday candle..” she tell me and put the candle inside the cake box
“wow! thanks a lot” i said
“you’re welcome, your daughter is very pretty. but she dont have either you or your husband’s face.. i mean there’s no similarity between the three of you” she said..
i stand there and i just smile.. bitter smile and i give her the money

we are on our way back home, since it’s jangmi’s birthday she sit in the front seat on my lap and kyuhyun’s driving
i can’t stop thinking about what the bakery lady said, i never thought about that before.. but i know that some day when jangmi’s older.. i know that she will ask us.. ask about the truth, even if we lie to her, she will figure it out somehow...
“hey, are you ok?” kyuhyun said but still focusing on driving
“huh? umm... yeah i’m fine” i lied
“no you’re not, what’s wrong?” he said and he hold my hand with one hand
“back at the bakery, the lady said that there’s no similarity in three of us.. well i don’t denied it since we’re not her parent but i don’t know.. it hurts me” i said
“seohyun.. you can’t.. you can’t say that, we are her parent.. we’ve been taking care of her for almost a year and that’s what parents do.. ok? that kind of people who should be called parents.. not the kind who give birth but leaving the child behind” he said and he hold my hand tighter

KYUHYUN’S POV
“happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear jangmi happy birthday to you” seohyun and i sing happy birthday while jangmi keep trying to touch the cake
the cake shape like a rose, this is seohyun’s order because jangmi means rose.
“make a wish” she said and she close her eyes
i think and i start to wish for something ‘i wish we can live happily no matter what’
and we blow the candle.. jangmi look very happy.. and seohyun too.

“she’s sleeping” seohyun said and she rest her head on my shoulder
“thank you..” she said
“for what?” i ask her
“for today, for yesterday and for tomorrow” she said and i look at her
i kiss her forehead .. i don’t know why but i like kissing her forehead
“sorry everything didn’t go exactly like you’ve planned” i said
“no need to apologize kyu, i know it’s not like what i’ve planned but.. it was perfect” she smile
“today was perfect.. and nothing can ruin it” she smile at me.. she lean closer and we kiss
the phone’s ringing and she pull away “let me get that” she go to the kitchen where there’s a phone, because the one in the living room is broken because jangmi pull the wire and it fell of the table
i wait for her to comeback.. who’s calling?
she walk slowly towards me.. her face is suddenly turn into sad face.. she’s pale, she’s not glowing.. her eyes are swollen.. what happen??
i get up and i walk to her, i hold her shoulders
“seohyun are you ok? who’s that? what’s wrong?? talk to me!” i said shaking her a little
“kyu..” she said
“seohyun what’s wrong?? who was it??” i ask her and.. she said
