SEOHYUN’S POV

 

i wake up in the living room with a blanket covering me and.. wait where’s kyuhyun? last night he was sleeping on my lap, i get up instantly, i panicked because his condition is not good right now.. omg where’s he???

 

i look at the clock and it’s 6:07 AM, i run all over the apartment until i get to the kitchen and i spot him standing in front of the kitchen counter.... making a sandwich

 

he turn around and look at me, his face is not pale anymore, he look healthier.. way healthier than last night 

 

“Hyunniee! good morning” he greet me cheerfully and hug me 

 

“..goo..good morning, kyuhyun are you ok?” i ask 

 

“yes! and you know why?” 

 

“why?”

 

“because i know you’re here” he said

 

i look at him not knowing what to say, i just smile

 

his face turn serious and he grab my hand

 

“seohyun i can’t thank you enough.. for last night and for being here all the time, i realize now that.. i will always be strong if you’re always beside me” he said and i smile

 

he lean over and kiss my forehead

 

“whatever happen today.. you have to know that i will find the way out, believe me.. when they take jangmi.. it’s not gonna be the end” he said, i know that he just say that to calm me down and to make me strong but.. somehow it work, i feel better after he said that and somehow i believe that there will be a way out

 

 

KYUHYUN’S POV

 

“here’s the sandwich” i give seohyun the plate and sit next to her on the couch

 

“what time will... they come?” she ask me

 

“i don’t know... it can be anytime, oh and donghae hyung said he’ll come with yoona-shi” i said

 

“ah jinja?! oh that’s good then..” she said

 

“what time will the come?” 

 

“hmm i dont know too ehehehe, i’ll text him” i said and i take my phone

 

~Hyung! you’re coming today right? what time?~

i wait for the reply and he reply instantly 

 

~yeeap! i just took a shower and i will be on my way to pick up yoona-shi, we’ll have breakfast and then go there, arasso? do you want any food?~

aiish why didn’t they have breakfast here? hah i bet there’s something going on between that two

i close my phone and put it back on the table

 

“so?” seohyun ask me with mouth full of sandwich

 

i giggle and wipe the mustard on her lips “yah! hyunnie swallow first then talk hahaha”

 

“ah.. hehehehe mianhae.. oppa!” she said teasing me pretending to call me ‘oppa’

 

“bwoh? now you’re calling me oppa??” i said with excitement, it’s cute hearing her calling me oppa 

 

“anio! cho kyuhyun” she said and she pout

 

“aishh” i said and we laugh

 

“so??? what time??” she ask again

 

“oh yeah, donghae hyung said he’s now on his way to pick up yoona-shi, but they’re having breakfast first then drive here”

 

“eeh?? breakfast just the two of them? yaaah there’s gotta be something between those two.. hihi i know it!” she said 

 

“haha yeah! i know right? i bet they’ll be together soon!”

 

“come here” i pull her hand and she’s leaning on my chest right now

 

but suddenly jangmi’s crying

 

“i’ll go get her” she get up but i hold her hand and said “we’ll go get her” 

 

YOONA’S POV

 

~oppa! where are you?~ 

-yoona :)

 

i send the message to donghae, yep.. i call him with ‘oppa’ now

i lost a bet with him and for the punishment i have to call him oppa, IT’S WEIRD RIGHT??? i mean, he’s the one who said he didn’t want me to call him oppa.. aish that guy, he reply and i open my phone 

 

~ hahahahaha it’s funny picturing you calling me oppa, i’m on my way and i’m driving right now, stop texting! did you miss me that much??? hihi i’ll be there in 15 minutes ... YEOBO!! :p ~

i giggle and i blush.. wait why am i blushing?! hihi he’s just something!

donghae is so nice and he always tease me.. i don’t know why but i like it hehehe

i mean that text... IT’S CUTE RIGHT??? or is it just me? :p 

 

i change my clothes and i put on a dress and vest.. i look at my self in the mirror and i feel like something missing.. i put on cardigan and i use a hair clip for my bangs and i look again to the mirror.. hmm i think it’s to much

i change into a tshirt and high waist skirt and just let my hair down

 

i grab my bag and headed downstairs

 

“MORNING!” my sister greet me and drag me t the living room, when i get there her fiance and... yesung oppa is there

 

“oh.. annyeonghaseo minho oppa, yesung oppa” i bow and yesung stand up and walk towards me

 

“annyeonghaseo yoona-shi” he bow

 

i look at yuri unni and she’s standing next to minho oppa

 

“yoona-ah, me and minho are going out to pick stuffs for our wedding, can you accompany yesung?” she ask

 

“ha? ah.. anio..ah.. i mean, today i really really really can’t. there’s a problem with seohyun and she needs me.. mianhae” i said

 

AAHH!! i know this is yuri unni’s idea!!! he’s setting me up with yesung adfghjkjhgfdsalksbefhdvb 

 

“hmm yoona-shi, you still owe me, remember?” yesung ask

 

“neh oppa, but i really can’t today” i said

 

“yoona!” yuri unni call me and giving me a signal to go with yesung

 

“yuri-ah, maybe today yoona-shi really can’t, don’t push her” minho oppa defending me 

 

“gwenchana, maybe next time, where are you going now?” yesung said

 

“to my friend’s house” i lied, i’m not gonna tell them i’m having breakfast with donghae first

 

“can i drive you there?” he ask

 

aish this guy really can’t stop..

 

“i’m really sorry oppa, but my friend’s picking me up and he’s on his way now” i said... oops

 

“his?? who is it?” yuri unni ask

 

TIN.. TIN.. i bet it’s donghae’s car

 

“um.. he’s here now, sorry sorry! bye!” i bow and run outside

 

 i run inside donghae’s car and close the door

 

“come on come on let’s go now!! pale pale!!!” i said and donghae look shock and start the car

 

 

DONGHAE’S POV

 

i drive a little bit fast because yoona look a little bit worried and she keep looking back

when we get far from her house she sigh 

 

“yah! what’s that about??” i ask 

 

“nothing... OPPA” she said

 

i laugh and said “hahaha arrasso yeobo”

 

“yah! stop calling me that!!” she said and she pout

 

“wae? you can’t hide your face when you’re blushing eh?” i said

 

“bwoh?! ANIO!” she said and she blush

 

“hahaha you’re cute” i said and i pinch her cheek

SEOHYUN’S POV

 

*kncok knock* someone knock the door, kyuhyun and i instantly looking at each other with shock... is that... leeteuk and taeyeon

 

i get up and kyuhyun follow me, he’s holding jangmi and i reach the door knob, before i open it i look at kyuhyun and he nodded

 

i open the door 

 

“SEOHYUN-AH” yoona run and hug me, kyuhyun and i give a big sigh

 

fyuuhhhh thank god.. it’s not leeteuk and taeyeon

 

“aish! hyung we thought it’s them” kyuhyun said 

 

“seohyun-ah gwenchana?” yoona look at me

 

“i need to talk to you” i said and yoona follow me to my bedroom

 

she go inside and i close the door

 

“hyun-ah, what’s wrong?” yoona ask

 

“last night.. kyuhyun’s chest is aching again, but this time it’s worse. ke can’t even fight it anymore, i can see it that he almost give up.... yoona i’m scared that it’ll get worse....”

 

“have the test come out from the doctor?” she ask 

 

“yes... but i can’t read it, only the doctor can read it and my appointment with the doctor is still tomorrow” i explain 

 

“oh.. well then, do you want me to come with you tomorrow? donghae can stay with kyuhyun, and i’ll come with you” 

 

“yeah.. yeah that’ll be great, thanks” i said and i hug her

 

“but wait.. yoona-ah, why are you always with donghae?? is there something going on between you guys?” i ask while teasing her

 

“bwoh?! yah! there’s nothing! come on let’s go.. don’t waste your time here, they can be here any minutes” she said distracting the topics and drag me to the living room

 

we walk to the living room, kyuhyun and donghae are sitting on the carpet playing with jangmi

 

“hey, do you guys want to order something or want me to cook?” i ask them 

 

“yah you don’t need to cook, we can order” yoona said

 

“arrasso, there’s the phone, order anything you want” i said and i pick up jangmi

 

“i’m gonna take her for a nap” i said

 

“i’ll come with you” kyuhyun said and we walk in jangmi’s bedroom

 

 

KYUHYUN’S POV

 

i close the bedroom door and seohyun is putting jangmi in her crib, jangmi close her eyes and sleep instantly

seohyun rub jangmi’s head, and keep looking at her, i walk towards her and i put my arms around her 

 

“i can’t....”  she said

 

“i love her... way to much, i try to fight it, i try to make myself believe that she’ll be ok but.. but somehow i just can’t. she’s not gonna be ok with them.. we are her parents not them” she continue as she start to cry

 

i hug her and rub her head

 

“please seohyun don’t... you’re hurting yourself if you keep thinking like that, it’s hard for me too.. but i’m sure that somehow there will be a way, we can find the way out” i said

 

“what if we can’t?” she ask me

 

“...... maybe it’s the best, maybe she’ll be happy with them”

 

she remain in silent and i wipe the tears from her face

 

“fate brought us to her... and fate will bring us back to her” i said

 

“i can’t believe.... why is this happe--” before she can finish

 

KNOCK KNOCK

 

someone knock the apartment door........

 

“kyuhyun is that--”

 

“yes.. i guess so” i said

 

“kyuhyun how... how did this happen?” she said and she start to cry

 

i hold her hand and we both look at jangmi

 

“jangmi... no matter what you do, where you are, we.. we will always be your parents remember ok? and remember what i said, i will always wait for you.. even when you’re older... you will always be my jangmi.... our jangmi” seohyun said and my tears start to fall

 

“jangmi we love you so much and we will do our best to be with you again, to hold you again and to have another seokyumi day” i said and i put my arm around seohyun

 

i look at her and i nodded giving her a sign to go out

 

 

YOONA’S POV

 

Seohyun and Kyuhyun walk in the bedroom 

 

i sit on the couch next to donghae, and he’s looking at me

 

“oppa, did kyuhyun-shi say something to you earlier? about his.... disease, last night?” i ask

 

“neh.. we talked about it earlier when you were in the bedroom, did seohyun-shi said anything?” he said

 

“she still don’t know what’s the real disease is, she have an appointment with kyuhyun-shi’s doctor tomorrow, and i’ll come with her to the hospital” i said

 

“kyuhyun-shi is not coming to the hospital tomorrow, you should stay with him” i said

 

“arrasso” he said and he glance at me

 

“gwenchana?” he ask

 

“ha? umm.. neh, gwenchana” i lied

 

“yah! don’t lie! what is it??” he ask me

 

“i’m scared...” i said

 

“scared? of what?” donghae look at me and he seem worried 

 

“what if something bad happen to kyuhyun? seohyun already lost jangmi... she cannot lose kyu--” before i can finish donghae put his finger on my lips giving me a signal to stop talking

 

“she’s not gonna lose kyuhyun again, we’re here. we can help” he said

 

i nodded and i got shock when suddenly donghae hold my hand

 

“you’re a very good friend for her, i can’t imagine what would her life be without you” he said

 

i just smile at him

 

KNOCK KNOCK

 

someone knock the door, donghae and i stand up instantly 

 

“is that them?” i ask

 

“i don’t know” he said and we walk towards the door and he still holding my hand

 

i look at him and he nodded giving the sign to open the door, i let go of his hand and i open the door

 

i find 2 people.. that i don’t know 

 

“yes?” i said

 

“annyeonghaseo, i’m taeyeon and this is --” before she finish i cut her off

 

“leeteuk?” i said

 

“um.. neh, how do you know?” taeyeon said

 

so this is the family ruiner?! rrghhh i feel like punching both of them

 

“it’s none of your business, you can do whatever you want and get the hell out of here, and do it fast” i said with all my anger

 

“hey, don’t talk to my girlfriend like that” leeteuk said trying to defend taeyeon

 

i’m about to say something but donghae step up and said

 

“you! don’t.. talk to my girlfriend like that” he said defending me

 

WAIT WHAT??? GIRLFRIEND?? WHAT DID HE JUST SAID?????

OMO OMO OMO YOONA IT’S NOT THE TIME, DON’T BLUSH DON’T BLUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR GOD SAKE HE CALL ME HIS GIRLFRIENDDDDDD!!

 

i try my best to control my self, suddenly seohyun and kyuhyun walks out the bedroom and the atmosphere become awkward and tense 

 

 

SEOHYUN’S POV

 

“annyeonghaseo” taeyeon said and she bow

 

i keep looking at her without greeting her back, kyuhyun reach my hand and hold it

 

“so.. you’re here. what are you waiting for? do it! take her!” i yell at them

 

taeyeon is looking down

 

what? she feel guilt now?! huh faker! 

 

“don’t play nice taeyeon, i know you. you said you’re gonna take her right.. go.. do it.. now!!” i try to be strong but saying those words make me cry, i yell as tears start to fall 

 

kyuhyun step forward to leeteuk and he look angry

 

“her stuffs are there, take it. and never.. ever show your face again... hyung” he said full of sarcastic

 

leeteuk can’t say anything he just went inside and get the boxes and take all of it outside

 

i can’t help but cry, i try my best to hold it but it was to hard

 

taeyeon look at me and i step forward until i’m in front of her 

 

“she’s inside.... take her... and go” i said and i turn around

 

taeyeon walk inside and she come back holding jangmi who is no sleeping

 

i turn around and see jangmi in taeyeon’s arm... it reminds me to the first time taeyeon gave her to me, she was sleeping in taeyeon’s arm too

 

taeyeon walk towards the door... and suddenly i scream

 

“NOOO!!!!!!” i scream as i cry and fall down on my knees, i look down and cry

 

 

THIRD PERSON’S POV

 

Seohyun fall on her knees and cry, Yoona who’s standing next to donghae was about to walk to seohyun but donghae hold her hand giving her a sign to stay

 

Kyuhyun run to seohyun and wrap his arms around her.. seohyun look up and taeyeon is looking at her 

“TAEYEON WHY DID YOU GAVE HER TO ME?.... IF IT’LL END LIKE THIS... WHY DID IT EVEN START? DO YOU KNOW... DO YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL NOW?? I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT YOU WERE MY FRIEND...” seohyun yell as she cry harder 

 

taeyeon can’t help but she also cry

 

“seohyun please don’t” kyuhyun try to comfort seohyun, but they both can’t hold their tears..kyuhyun wipe his tears and walk to taeyeon

 

“take your fake tears and get out, now.” kyuhyun said and he turn around and walk back to seohyun 

 

“jangmi... jangmi.. don’t leave omma... jangmii” seohyun cry

 

“she.. she is not your daughter seohyun, and i have the right to keep her.. she’s mine” taeyeon said

 

seohyun shocked.. she can’t believe what taeyeon just said 

 

“she’s yours? you dare call yourself a mother? you were never her mother, even before you gave her to me you were not her mother, you know why taeyeon? because everytime you had a fight with leeteuk.. you ask me to take care of her.. EVERY TIME! AND WHEN YOU FINALLY DIVORCE, YOU GAVE HER TO ME.. AND YOU SAID YOU’RE NOT GONNA COME BACK, BUT WHAT?!” seohyun said and she start to cry again

 

leeteuk walk back in to the apartment “seohyun, kyuhyun, this is for the best, we are her real parents” he said

 

jangmi open her eyes and she start to cry, leeteuk take her from taeyeon’s arm and try to stop her from crying, seohyun stand up and she’s worried about her

 

jangmi look at seohyun and reach her hand to seohyun “OMMAAA.. OMMAAA” she cry

 

seohyun walk to jangmi but taeyeon step in front of her

 

“leeteuk take her to the car” taeyeon said and leeteuk walk out with jangmi

 

“NOOO!! JANGMIII!!!” seohyun scream and taeyeon hold her trying to stop her to go to jangmi 

 

seohyun look to the door and jangmi is not there anymore.. she’s gone... forever..

 

kyuhyun pull seohyun away from taeyeon and kyuhyun hold her but seohyun insist on going

 

seohyun look down and cry... “you didn’t even let me say goodbye” 

 

taeyeon look to seohyun

 

“i will never see her again.. and you didn’t even let me say goodbye” seohyun cry and kyuhyun hold her

 

“taeyeon.. go... now, you’ve done enough. you happy now? go!” kyuhyun said 

 

taeyeon turn around and she stops when seohyun said “wait”

 

she turn around and seohyun walk up to her

 

seohyun’s looking at taeyeon and she slap her

 

the room fills with silent everyone is shock of what seohyun just did

 

yoona who’s crying seeing her bestfriend like this, donghae wrap his arm around yoona trying to calm her down 

 

kyuhyun is trying his best to stand up while holding his chest who’s now aching, but he didn’t care, what’s on his mind right now is seohyun

 

taeyeon look back to seohyun and walk away out the apartment 

 

seohyun fall on her knees and kyuhyun walk to her, he bend his knees and sit next to her, he hug her and she hug him back and seohyun start to cry again

 

 

YOONA’S POV

 

i can’t stand seeing her like this, i keep crying and donghae is hugging me 

i let go of his hug and run outside the apartment to find taeyeon

 

“Yoona!” i heard donghae call my name but i ignore him

 

i reach the parking lot and i see taeyeon and leeteuk putting stuffs inside their car, i can see jangmi sleeping inside the car sitting on the car sit for baby

 

“yoona!” donghae calling me and he follow me to the parking lot

 

“HOW COULD YOU!!” i run to taeyeon and push her until she fall down

 

she instantly stand up 

 

“WHAT?! who are you?!!” she said

 

“I’M SEOHYUN’S BEST FRIEND! AND I DON’T WANT YOU TO DO THAT TO HER!! YOU’RE SICK!!!” i yell and i almost slap he but this time leeteuk come and hold my hand so i can’t slap taeyeon

 

“it’s none of your business and get your hands of my girlfriend” leeteuk said and he push me until i fall, donghae run to me and help me stand up

 

i look at donghae and he look angry, he’s looking at leeteuk and he walk to him

i thought donghae was gonna yell to him but i was wrong

 

he walk up to leeteuk and he punch his face.. so hard until leeteuk fall

 

“that’s for touching my girlfriend, and ruining my best friend’s family” 

 

he turn around, he take off his jacket and put it on me, and he take me back inside

i walk back to the apartment, when donghae and i walk in seohyun and kyuhyun are sitting on the couch looking at the wall

 

both of them look so lifeless.. blank and screwed 

 

i walk to seohyun and sit next to her, she look at me with her blank and swollen eyes and i hug her, i keep rubbing her back and she cry

 

i see donghae sit next to kyuhyun and he pat his back 

 

kyuhyun look so pale, he’s sweating.

 

the room fills with nothing but seohyun’s cry

Donghae drive me back to my house, tonight donghae and i are staying at seohyun’s apartment we just got back from donghae’s house to take his clothes and now he’s taking me to my house to take my clothes

 

“i’ll be right back” i said and i walk inside

 

i walk up to my room and i pack a shirt and jeans 

 

“Unnii, i’m going out” i said

 

“what?? you just got here!!” yuri unni said as she walk from the kitchen

 

“i’m staying at seohyun’s apartment tonight, she need me, and don’t stop me” i said and i walk out and get inside donghae’s car

 

on our way back to the apartment we stop by to buy a food, but we just wait in car since we buy it to go

 

 it was a little bit awkward, we usually tease each other but this time the atmosphere is different

 

“thank you...” i said

 

“for what?” he ask and glance at me

 

“defending me.... twice” i said

 

“ooh... it was nothing” he said and smile

 

“still.. thank you” i said and i without thinking i reach his hand and hold it

 

he look at me and smile

 

it was awkward.. we keep looking at each other and suddenly he lean over

 

he lean closer and closer and.. we almost kiss!!!!!!!

 

our nose are touch but then my phone ring ...damn

 

he step back and clear his throat and rub his neck

 

it’s seohyun, i pick up the phone

 

“hello?” 

 

 

DONGHAE’S POV

 

DAMN IT!! it was soooooo close!!! out nose already touch!!! ahhh the timing is so aodehnwrubibfdcjfsleiovdsn

 

i look at her and she’s talking on the phone 

 

“bwoh?! seohyun-ah?!! arrasso!! we’ll be there!!”  she said with panicked 

 

she hang up and she look shock

 

“yoona gwenchana?” i ask

 

“anio! we need to go.. now, to the apartment, just leave the food. we need to go back now pale pale!!” she said

 

“ok ok” i panicked and i start the car, i drive as fast as i can

 

“what happen??!” i ask

 

“Kyuhyun-shi.....”
