After I put Jae Hyung to sleep, I turned my laptop on and checked my email.

I smiled when I saw the unread email from my professor.

I opened it up and read the information, my eyes widening.

I’ll be teaching at Jae Hyung’s head start.

This’ll be prefect!

Their teacher will be taking a leave to go to the United States with her husband to get a procedure done there.  I’ll be finishing up the year with them.

“I can’t wait for the interview…” I muttered happily as close my laptop and fell backwards on my bed.

I woke up late the next morning.  I washed up before creeping out of bed.

I heard the TV on before making my way over to the living room.

“Why do you wake up so early?” I questioned as I put my hands on my hips.  Jae turned his head and chuckled, “Noonaa…” He said pulling his blanket up to cover his smiling face.  I smiled before running over and jumping on the couch next to him.  I hugged him tightly as he struggled and whined.

“If you stop struggling and hug me back, I’ll stop.” I told him before he immediately turned around to hug me.  I chuckled before grabbing the control and turning the TV off.

“Noonnaa~~~” He complained before I got up, “Nope, go wash up and help me make breakfast…” I told him before he pouted.

“I’m making pancakes…”

“Arraso!” He shouted before running to the bathroom as I went to prepare.

After we ate, my sister called telling me she won’t be back later at night again.  After I hung up, I got another call.

“Yoboseyo?” I answered.

“Is this Park Miyoung?” 

I nodded, “Yes, this is she. Who’s speaking?” I asked before the man cleared his throat, “I’m Kang Kyung Jun calling about the teaching position.  We’ve decided to give you the job without the interview since Mrs. Lee is already on her way to the states with her husband.  Yonsei University knows, so you’ll be getting credits as well as a pay for your time teaching.  You’ll start after the weekend.  Mrs. Lee as all the lessons planned already so you’ll just need to go over them.”

“Thank you!” I said a bit too loud, “Thank you for this opportunity. I’ll work hard.” I told him before he said some other things and hung up.

“Noona, who’s that?” Jae asked not removing his eyes from the TV.  I smiled, “guess what?”

He turned his head, his eyes twinkling, “What?!”

I chuckled, “I’ll be teaching at your school now!” I said grabbed him and hugging him tightly, “I get to see you every day!!” I laughed as he struggled.

He made crying noises, “Aniiyaaaa~~!”

I pursed my lips, “Wahh, you’re mean.”

His eyebrows quickly caved inward, “Mwuh! Aniyo! You’re mean!”  I chuckled, “Come on, let’s go out…what do you want to do today?”  I asked as we both got off the couch.

“Mmm…I don’t know.” He muttered behind me.  I nodded, “Okay, then I’ll take you shopping, uh?”

He beamed, “Arraso!” he shouted as he ran off into his room.

“Let’s buy you a new sweater.” I said as I looked through the rack in the department store.  “Baby, do you want navy or grey?” I asked him before he turned to look at me.

“What are you looking at?” I asked before scanning the store.  He pointed somewhere before I looked and saw him.

“Why is he by himself…?” I muttered before wanting to walk over, but I stopped myself.

You don’t want to get into this again, Miyoung.

“Let’s just get your sweater and go, kay?” I said walking back and holding out the two sweaters before Jae tugged on my sleeve, “B-but you said the next time I see him, I have to talk to him…” He stated, obviously, wanting to go over.

I smiled faintly, “I did…didn’t I?”

“Well,” I sighed, “Pick which one, I’ll buy it and you go talk with him.” I stated before he beamed, “Navy!” He shouted as he ran over to Min Kyung sitting on a waiting bench against the wall.

I smiled as I put the grey one back and walked over to the line.

I looked over at the two.

Jae was talking with hand gestures as Min Kyung watched him with a blank face.

Like father, like son.

I sighed, “Where’s your guardian, Min Kyung…?” I muttered as I moved up in the line.

After paying, I walked over, “Jae!”

The two boys turned around, “Noona~!” They both shouted.  My eyebrows furrowed when I saw Min Kyung run up to me.  My first instinct was to crouch down and hug him, and that’s just what I did.

“Annyeong, Min Kyung-ah~” I said ruffling his hair as we pulled apart.  Jae Hyung ran up to us, “Noona, Min Kyung’s here with his noona too.”

“Ahh~ Well, where is she?” I asked him.  He just shrugged, “She said she was going to go pay…” He said quietly.

I furrowed my eyebrows, I was the last person in my line, and you were waiting here longer-

“Ahh~! Min Kyung!” We all turned our head to see a girl about my age running towards us.  She had many bags in her hands “Mianhae, Min Kyung-ah~ I got lost and forgot where I was supposed to meet you.”

I got up from the ground.  “Oh, you are…?” She asked me before I smiled, “Park Miyoung, I’ll be teaching at his head start Monday.”

“Oh! That’s right. They informed all the parents.” She said breathless.

Parents...? I'm so confused...

“You’re his mom…noona…?” I said quietly, confused.  She chuckled, “Aniyo, I baby sit Min Kyung and just take him out so he’s not home all day while his father’s away at recordings and what not.”

I nodded, “I see…well, it was nice meeting you.  Min Kyung-ah~ I’ll see you Monday—”

“-Wait, actually. I know I’m not supposed to do this, but can you just watch Min Kyung for a couple hours.  I swear I won’t be long, I just really need to go help my parents shop right now…if you can’t it’ll be fine, really…”

I sighed, this again.

I really want to help.  I love helping others, even though I know this is bad.  The thing is I can’t deal with Mr. Oh.

Gosh, my life!

“How long would it be…?” I questioned.  She grinned, “I’ll have to leave now, but I’ll be back in 2 hours, I promise.”

I sighed, “Fine…I guess, we’ll just stay in this mall.”

I took out a piece of paper and wrote my number for her.  “Call me when you get back, we’ll probably be in the cafeteria though.” I told her before she nodded and bowed, “Thank you! I’ll be back on time, I promise!” She said quickly making her way out of the department store.

I looked down at the two boys, “Well, I have you guys again…” I mumbled as they both smiled widely.

“Baegopa!”

“Baegopayo, noona~”

They both said at the same time.  I shook my head at their differences.

“Arraso,” I chuckled, “Let’s eat then.”

We were eating at a small table next to the window as it overlooked the city. 

I was tense the whole time, trying to not worry if Mr. Oh, catches me cause I do not want to be wrapped up with him again.

“Noona?”

I turned away from the window and looked at Min Kyung, “De?”

He smiled shyly, “Kwenchanayo?”  He asked before I nodded, “De, Kwenchana.” I smiled as I looked at their food, “You two have to finish everything, kay? Noona, bought a lot of food for you two.” 

“DE!” They both shouted cheerfully before they started to eat again.

I looked at Min Kyung.

He looks so happy when he’s here.

But when he was sitting alone, or when he saw his care taker, he looked so sad.

His eyes, they told stories when you looked at them.

My phone rang, snapping me out of my wonders.

“De?”

“Miyoung, it’s Lena, Min Kyung’s care taker.  Sehun’s on his way over to the mall right now.  He told us to meet at the Lego Store.  You should stall and walk around to try and avoid him.  I’m on my way back already. But please, do not get caught, I need this job.”  She said desperately.

Don’t worry; I don’t want to deal with him anyways.

“Of course, call back when you get here.” I said before hanging up.

“Kay, boys, time to leave.”  I said quickly.  “Waeyo?” Jae Hyung asked as he got up to put his jacket on.  “Because, now we need to exercise…” I chuckled shakily before throwing the leftover food in the trash and returning to them.

“We’re going to start from the top floor of the mall and walk around the whole floor before going to the next level.” I said as we walked to the escalator.

“Bu-but, noonaaa~!” Jae Hyung whined.  Min Kyung took my hand, “It’s okay.”

I smiled down at him and sighed, “You’re so cute, Min Kyunnie.”  I slipped my hand away and ruffled his hair before grabbing them again.

We walked around the 5^th floor before making our way to the 4^th floor.  “Noona, I’m tired.”  Min Kyung said before I nodded, “Arrayo…I’m tired too.” I chuckled before I walked to a bench.

“Sit here, kay? I’ll be back.” I said as I answered my phone.

“Oh my goodness, Miyoung, I’m so sorry.  Sehun’s asking me why I’m taking so long, I told him I’m lost and he said he’ll come meet us…in the cafeteria.  I’m on the level right, but I need you guys here.  The Lego store is on the first level, so I don’t kno-”

“-We’ll be there in a bit.” I said quickly as I hung up and jogged over to the boys, “Okay! Time to go the cafeteria!” I said grabbing their hands.

Jae Hyung whined, “Noonaa~! We just-”

“Jae, no complaining…Ah! If we can get to the cafeteria in 2 minutes I’ll bring your guys treats on Monday.”

He became quiet before he and Min Kyung were both leading ahead of me.

I chuckled softly as I followed closely behind them.

“One minute left.” I stated as I looked around for signs of Sehun.

We got off the escalator and ran to the food court before I jerked them both back when I saw him.

“Let’s go this way…” I said turning around, looking for Lena.

My phone rang again and I picked it up, still looking around.

“Where are you?” I said urgently before she answered, “I’m by th-Stay there, I’m coming.” She said before hanging up.

I looked around for her before someone touched my shoulder from behind.

“Oh my goodness, Miyoung, I’m so sorry.  Thank you for ever-”

“Lena?”

I froze.  Jae Hyung turned around before I jerked him back, “Don’t look.” I stated clearly before looking at a paled Lena, “I bumped into you.” I muttered.

“Ah! I’m so sorry! I should’ve been looking.” I bowed before starting to walk away.

“Hey! It’s you!”

I narrowed my eyes, “Not now…” I muttered, “Not now…”

“Noona!”

I automatically turned around at Min Kyung’s voice, “De?”

“You!”

I looked up at Sehun whose eyes darkened.

My luck…is so bad.

Min Kyung ran over to me before I crouched down to hug him, “Bye Min Kyunnie.” I pulled away as he kissed my cheeks, “Thank you for staying with me today…and sorry that I got you into trouble…” He said quietly.

I shook my head as I saw Sehun come stand behind him, “Aniyo, it’s not your fault.”  I patted his head before getting up.

I looked at Sehun, “We just ran into each other.” I stated before backing up, “Have a good rest of the day, Mr. Oh.”

[Sehun]

“Min Kyung how was your day today?”  I asked.

Min Kyung stayed quiet in the backseat.  I looked at the mirror and saw my son’s sad expression.

“Min Kyung-ah~ are you okay?” I asked a bit worried.  He nodded slowly before I let out a long sigh.

By the time we got home, he was asleep.  I picked him up and brought him to his room before taking his shoes and coat off and putting him in bed.

I sat on the bed, looking at him.

I kissed his forehead before getting up and leaving the room.

Why do I see this girl everywhere I go? 

Is she some sasaeng fan using Min Kyung to get to me?

Why is Min Kyung so comfortable around her…?

I walked into my room and sat on my bed.  I turned and looked at a picture frame before picking it up. 

I brushed my thumb against her cheeks, “…Minah, I miss you.  I wish you were here with us.  Min Kyung has grown a lot. He has your brains….”

I sighed heavily before putting the picture frame back on the table and looking down at my ring.

Minah.

It’s been 4 years.

How are you?  You’re doing well, right?

I chuckled softly.

Of course you are.

You’re looking down on us from heaven and keeping us both safe.

I wish Min Kyung could’ve met you.

He seems so lost without a mother in his life, and I’ve been a horrible father.  My schedules are over whelming and I don’t see him as often anymore.

These days, he looks so sad.

The first time in a long time, I’ve seen his genuine smile was when he was with that Miyoung girl.

I don’t know where she came from, but she’s annoying.

Please, send her away.

I don’t want her anywhere near Min Kyung.

I sighed before running my hands through my hair, “I miss you, Minah.”

So yeah. :))

Gosh, I feel like Sehun's such a jerk...ugh--I don't have much to say, so hopefully you do.
