Previously: “Kiki.” Kikwang turned back to Junhyung. “This doesn’t change anything, you know. We’re still best friends.” Kikwang managed to give a big smile and replied, “I know. Don’t Worry.”

Hyunseung looked at his and Junhyung's intertwined hands but he didn't feel satisfied. He felt like not all of Junhyung's feelings was put into his hand at all and the fact that Junhyung is still staring at Kikwang's retreating back was something that he was not very fond of.

Hyunseung tugged Junhyung's hand so that he would pay attention to him and Hyunseung could see in the corner of his eyes that Kikwang took one last glance at the couple before turing at the corner. A smirk made its way to Hyunseung lips and Junhyung couldn't help but notice as well.

"Are you that happy?"

"Hm?"

"That we're going out? A smile haven't left your pretty face." Hyunseung couldn't really tell Junhyung that he wasn't all too happy but it'll suffice.

"Of course I'm happy. Should we go somewhere after school? Just the two of us?"

"I really want you and Kikwang to get to know each other though. Can I invite him too?"

"Do we really have to? This is a first for us. Don't you want to just be with me?"

Junhyung hesitated for a moment. Of course he wanted to be with just Hyunseung but he felt the need to have Kikwang with him as well. Kikwang was always with him. "I do want it to be just you and me but Kikwang had always been with me so I feel like I need him with me too." Hyunseung let out a big sigh and released his hand from Junhyung's. "If we're gonna be dating then you can't always have Kikwang with you, you know. You're dating me, not him."

Hyunseung was upset and walked away from Junhyung. Lunch had ended and it left Junhyung trailing behind Hyunseung back to the classroom. "Hyungseung, I'm sorry. Can we talk about it after class?" Hyunseung paid no attention to him and sat down. Boeun saw them and walked over.

"What? Having a lover's quarrel already?"

"Boeun, don't bother them." Kikwang dragged Boeun away and turned back to Junhyung.

"Don't mind her Junnie, you know how she is. Is everything alright?"

Junhyung pushed Kikwang a little bit away from Hyunseung so he wouldn't hear their conversation. Junhyung wanted to tell Kikwang what the problem was but he just asked Hyunseung out and without having a first date there were problems already. Junhyung shook his head, "No, everything's fine Kiki. Hey, after school today I won't be able to go home with you. You okay with that?"

Kikwang's face didn't show it but he wasn't too thrilled about it. "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm not a kid Junnie. I can go home by myself." Kikwang gave his smile as reassurance. "Make sure you go straight to my house, Kiki."

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Umma's not home."

Dongwoon couldn't help but overhear the conversation but before he could intrude their teachers had entered the classroom.

"All right! The last lecture for the day, are you all excited?"

No cheers there. The only feedback was the groans of the student wanting to get the class over with and out of school. Doojoon 'tsk' the students and before he got annoyed Yoseob stepped in. "Okay students. Get your spirits up! Just one more week and it's break so before that happens we have decided to assign a group project that will count 25% of your grade." Even more groans from the students.

Doojoon spoke up this time, "since we're giving you all a project we decided to release the class out early so you guys can get a head start. No complaints, okay?" None to be heard and Doojoon smiled.

"Now, before any more complaints we have already assigned you your groups and your assignments. There will be 5 students in each group and the due date is the day before break so work hard and then you can relax. When I call your name please come up to the front and grab a packet for your group. Kim Saechul."

Dongwoon turned back to Kikwang, "I really want to be in the same group as you~"

Kikwang chuckled. "Jung Minah"

"I might be with Junnie again." Dongwoon raised an eyebrow. "Whenever there's a group or pair project, me and Junnie always up together. That's how it's always been."

"Lee Boeun"

Boeun got up from her chair and skipped to the front with Dongwoon rolling his eyes at her action, "is she really the same age as us?" Kikwang slightly punch Dongwoon's arm at his remark. "As for the last group, Jang Hyunseung."

Kikwang looked towards Hyunseung and Junhyung as Hyunseung's name was called. He was trying to ignore it but there was the unsettling feeling that maybe, just maybe that things weren't going to be the same. Just as Hyunseung made his way up the class, Boeun made her way over to Kikwang and Dongwoon. "Oppa! Oppa! We're so going to ace our project."

Kikwang asked, "We? Who's in your group?" Deeply down, Kikwang wishes that Junhyung was with him. The heavens must be screwing with him lately.

"Me, Kikwang oppa, Kim Hyesung, Jung Maeli and.........ew."

"Huh? Ew?" Kikwang had a glint of hope and then lost it.

"Son Dongwoon."

Hyunseung returned to his seat and read over the names of the people in his group. One name did catch his attention though. "How unusual. We've never been in the same group before, Junhyung." Hyunseung turned to Junhyung, "It must be fate. I get asked out by you today and now we're in the same group together." Junhyung was estatic but there was a question itching to be asked, "Is Kiki in our group?" There goes Hyunseung's happy mode; with a little irritation in his voice, "Sorry, Junnie~ but Kikwang's not in our group."

Junhyung actually cringed a little when Hyunseung called him 'Junnie' but he didn't know that he did. It was evident on his face also that he was disappointed that he wasn't in the same group as Kikwang. They were practically inseperable. Junhyung raised his hand to ask the teachers, "Excuse me but I think we got the wrong names. Kiki and I are usually in the same group together." Kikwang heard Junhyung and raised his hand in objection as well, "Yeah, we're always in the same group."

Both Doojoon and Yoseob looked at each other and spoke, "True, you two were always put together but we decided to split you two."

"I'm sorry for asking again, but why are you splitting us?"

"Because, Junhyung, you two have the worst grade in class and working with other people can improve your grades and social ties. No more question and complaints. The groups are final and no changes. Without further ado, I bid the class goodbye and work hard."

Junhyung and Kikwang looked at each other from across the room; already feeling the missing presence of each other and the disappointment of not being in the same group. "Junhyung ah, are you not happy with me being with you in the group?" Junhyung's eyes still didn't leave Kikwang, "It's just not going to be the same without Kiki." And he knew that Kikwang was feeling the same thing. Without each other they felt a part of them was missing.

I know, it's been so long.

Hmm, the progress of Junseung......I see a glint of Kiwoon coming but Junkwang shippers do not worry. They are my endgame couple.
