"Infamous playboy?" I repeated, sarcastically. "No way."

Hae Young playfully punched me upper arm. "Yah! No need for sarcasm!"

I laughed. "Mianhae~ It's just that Siwan just acts like a playboy. It's so obvious!"

"How? I didn't know when I first met him! I thought he was sweet and when he asked me out-"

I interrupted her. "Asked you out?"

Hae Young laughed and ruffled her hair. "He's asked every single girl in this school out!"

My jaw dropped open instantly. "WHAT?!"

I knew he was a playboy but hearing this fact made me completely unaware of his capabilities. Hae Young grabbed my hands.

"Jin Ae! Calm down. I know you won't fall into his trap that easily..."

"Good point. I'm not that easy to be taken advantage of..." I said, reassuring myself.

"Come on, what do you have for homeroom?" she asked, taking a look at my schedule. "English with... Mr. Jang?"

I looked at my schedule too. "Ah... it seems so!"

"I have the same homeroom as you! Come on, let's walk together."

Hae Young and I headed for class. She looked so excited and I wasn't sure why until we took one step into the classroom. Mr. Jang looked at us. "Is one of you... Kwon Jin Ae?"

I stepped forward and nodded politely. "Annyeong haseyo, I'm Kwon Jin Ae."

Mr. Jang looked incredibly young. He was probably only a few years older than me. I didn't understand how he could be a teacher. Hae Young let out a sweet sigh while looking at Mr. Jang and took her seat.

"Class, this is our transfer student, Ms. Kwon Jin Ae." he introduced.

I faced the class, greeting them. My eyes scanned the crowd and I felt my heart would stop when I saw him. 

. Why was I so damn unlucky? Mr. Jang smiled at the class and he pointed to an empty seat next to the person I wanted to be the farthest from.

"Ms. Kwon, you can take the seat next to Mr. Im."

Aish. Siwan Im. That was his name. As I approached him, he winked at me. I turned away and sat down at my desk.

"Hey Jin Ae! Remember me?" he whispered, leaning over to me.

I rolled my eyes. What a player.
