Why is he hurting me? It's simple. I don't like him but I do LOVE him. I knew the answer but I didn't reply.

"You know what? I give up. The bet, you win." he told me.

I couldn't believe my ears. Did he just admit defeat?

"What do you want me to do?" asked Siwan.

I stood there speechless. Siwan turned away.

"You don't know, do you?" he said bluntly.

"I don't..."

"It's fine. You can just tell me later." he said as he started walking away.

I felt my heart shatter.

In the smallest voice possible, I managed to say "Don't leave..."

He froze. "I just want to let you know that I did truly love you."

I felt tears threaten to fall down my cheeks. I didn't try to stop them.

"SIWAN!" I shouted after him.

I could no longer contain my feelings. "SIWAN!"

He didn't turn back. I fell to my knees. As soon as he left, out of sight, I broke into tears.

"I made a mistake! I made a huge mistake! Mianhae... I do love you- more than you can imagine. It's because I thought you only loved me for my looks so I didn't tell you."

I continued to cry. "I can now feel your sincerity. I know you love me for me now. I'm so sorry."

Suddenly I saw someone run up to me.

"Jin Ae!" I heard them shout. "Jin Ae!"

I couldn't make out who it was. Before I could reply, I had fainted.

(HyunSeung's POV)

"JIN AE!" I shouted repeatedly.

I picked her up (bridal style) and ran to the nurse's office.

"Hold on, Jin Ae! You'll be fine!" I kept telling her.

When the nurse saw me rush in with Jin Ae, she quickly came over and helped me set her on one of the beds.

"What happened to her?" the nurse asked me.

"I don't know! When I saw her, she was already like this!"

"Don't panic... I'll see what's wrong with her."

I punched the wall. "Damn that Siwan. He didn't even watch out for her!"

I took a seat and hoped for Jin Ae's well-being. Then the nurse came up to me.

"She's fine!" she said in relief. "She's just been a bit stressed out. A little bit of sleep and she'll be good as new~"

I took a deep breath. "That's good to hear."

I walked up to Jin Ae and took her hand. "It was Siwan wasn't it? The one who's been stressing you out? Or could it have been me, telling you to stop loving him and love me?"

My heart told me it was most likely both. I guess I can learn to love her as my 'sister'. That's better than nothing... isn't it?

(Jin Ae's POV)

I felt weak. When my eyes fluttered open, the only person I saw was Hyun Seung. He sat on the chair next to the bed, with his head down.

I looked at the time. Still... morning? Wait what? I looked at the calendar. No way. It's been 2 days?! How long was I unconcious? I looked around. Where am I? Is this the hospital?

I shook Hyun Seung.

"Yah... Hyun Seung~" i called.

He yawned. "Jin Ae?"

When he opened his eyes completely, he gave me a huge hug. "JIN AE! YOU'RE AWAKE!"

I laughed and hugged him back. "Yeah~ I'm awake!"

Then I remembered. "It's been 2 days right? My dad must be worried."

I wanted to get off the bed. I almost fell when Hyun Seung helped me up.

"You're weak right now... stay here."

"But my dad-"

"I've already called him and said you were on a school trip and you'll be home in a couple of days."

I felt relief. "Oh. Alright. Hyunseung?"

"Yeah?"

"Does Siwan know I've been unconcious for the last few days?"

"No... I didn't tell him."

"That's good. Don't tell him. I don't want to bother him anymore. We... parted."

"Wae? Didn't you love him?"

"I did but I didn't believe he loved me... I can't take that 'playboy' side of him. He is always with beautiful girls and I can't stand to see them flirting with him... I didn't trust him. I don't deserve him."

Hyun Seung sighed and sat down on the bed, next to me. "Pabo! You're good enough for him!"

"Well it's too late now anyways. He doesn't even want to see me anymore."

"Gwenchana?" he asked as he saw a single tear, escape from my eye.

"Apa. Neomu apa." I whispered. "Why does it hurt so much? Love is supposed to be a beautiful thing..."
