‘Saengil chukahae Hyerin!!’
Eunji spoke over the phone.

“Gomawo Eunji-ah.”
I smiled to myself.

‘Hyerin-ah! Mian! But I ‘m so busy, I won’t be able to celebrate with you! Aish my life..’

“Keke kwaenchanayo. My parents will be here to spend it with me anyway.”

‘Arasso. I’ll see you soon then! Annyeong!’

“Nae, annyeong!” 

*Snap*
I closed my phone.

*Sigh*

I don’t even feel like celebrating anything..

I just want to see Byunghun as soon as possible..

*Bzz*
“Oh.. A message from Dongjun..”

It read:
‘Saengil chukahae Hyerin-ah. I’m sorry I can’t spend the day with you. I have to work all day. ㅠ_ㅠ
Take care ara?’.

I should reply to him..

‘Gomawo! ㅅ_ㅅ
Dongjun-ah, you take care too. Don’t overwork yourself!’

*DingDong*

“Coming!”
I rushed to the door.

“Hyerin! Happy birthday!” Eomma exclaimed.

I jumped in surprise.
“Eomma! Appa!”
“Come in!”

“Aigoo.. Our daughter is 17 now. Omo I mean 18. Now that we’re in Korea, we’re instantly a year older.” Appa chuckled.
“Time passes so quickly! It seems like You were just a baby yesterday!”
“Eomma. Hajiman~” I whined.

“Well, let’s start cooking shall we?” Eomma said. “I bought all the ingredients already.”

“Wah! It all looks great!” Appa widened his eyes. A variety of dishes were laid out on the table.
“Desho?” I snickered. “Don’t underestimate my cooking skills.”
“Honey.. We all know you can’t cook well.” Eomma said from behind me, holding another dish.
“Haha! Omo our poor daughter!” Appa laughed.
I blushed. “Eomma!”
They burst out in laughter.

“Shall we eat?” Eomma suggested.
“Itadakimasu!” We said in unison.

After eating, we went out for a bit and shopped.

“Eomma! Appa! Can’t you stay?” I held onto both of their arms while walking out of my place.
“Of course we’d love to Hyerin-ah.. But Appa’s workplace has an event tomorrow. And we need to be there very early.” Eomma hugged me.

I groaned.

”..Arasso..” I surrendered.
“We’ll come back soon okay?” Appa pat my head.
“..Annyeong.” I waved at them.
“Take care Hyerin! We love you!”
“Nado..” I smiled.

Back in the apartment, I looked at the clock: 9:48PM.

*What should I do now..*

I turned the TV on and flipped through the channels.

“Coming up, the crisis of TOP Media Company…” The announcer continued on.

“Mr. Byunghun Lee! A word please!”
