Before I went to school, I wore my trench coat so that most of my bruises could be hidden.

The soreness was still present and made it hard for me to move but I managed to endure it.

“Hyerin-ah!!” She got up from her seat and ran towards me at the back door.

“O-ow..” I flinched at her contact as she hugged me tight.

“What’s wrong?” She let go of me.
“It’s nothing..” I smiled weakly at her.

“So what have I been missing out on?”
We continued to talk until classes started.

*I need to talk to him..* I thought as I stared at his backview.

Lunchtime

“Byunghun-“
He immediately walked away.
I ran after him.
“Hyerin! Where are you going?” Eunji shouted.

“Yah! Lee Byunghun!” I tried to catch up with him and endured the pain as he went downstairs.

But unfortunately, I lost him in the crowd.

First I checked that isolated place but he wasn’t there.
Then the second and third floors.

I wasted my lunchtime just searching for him.
*This guy..* I started to get annoyed.
I decided to skip the next period.

Lastly, I went up to the rooftop.

It was quiet.
*Is he not here either?*

I walked up to the fence.
“YOU’RE SUCH AN IDIOT LEE BYUNGHUN!”
I listened to my voice echo.

”..Are you on the brink of your sanity, Kim Hyerin?” I heard a voice.

“Mwo?” I looked around to see if anyone was there.

Then I saw him sitting down at the edge of the wall. He slowly got up and walked a few steps towards the door.

“Yah! Are you running away from me again?” I spat at him.

He stopped in his tracks.

“Are you bipolar or are you just crazy?” My blood boiled.
