“Let...me...go!” Jessica tried to escape but she couldn’t.

“Quiet! Or they’ll find you!” that man whispered.

“Now, listen to me. You must promise me that you’ll quiet, or I’ll never let you go, Medusa...”

Jessica nodded, she’s so panic. When that man release his hand from her, Jessica turned her body and then shocked,

“You!”

Lee Joon nodded,

“Yes. You remember me, don’t you?”

Jessica looked at him coldly,

“You catch me now, officer...finally,”

Lee Joon nodded for twice,

“Yes. But I’ll not give you to them. Now, follow me,” then he grabbed Jessica’s arm once again.

“Wait, wait! What do you mean? Let me go!”

Lee Joon looked at her intensively,

“If you go now, they’ll find you. They’re everywhere. They will find you immediately,”

Jessica didn’t know what to say. Lee Joon quickly brought her to a small alley, and then entered a small door. That door brought them to an old store. They continued to walk and how suprised Jessica when she found that Lee Joon brought him out of the slum.  

“I have someone that I know well. I’ll borrow his car,” Lee Joon said.

Then when they finally in the car, Jessica said,

 “Why you did this to me? You’re a police...”

Lee Joon didn’t answer so Jessica asked again,

“Why you didn’t arrest me?”

Lee Joon didn’t answered. He just drove the car so Jessica didn’t ask anymore.

They rode for one hour before finally they reached an area near the beach. Lee Joon stopped the car in front of a small but comfortable house. The front yard full of flower and grass which cut neatly.

“Um...where are we?” Jessica tried to ask again but suddenly someone appeared from the house.

“Lee Joon?”

That woman probably 57 years old. Still healthy and beautiful.

“Eomma!” Lee Joon ran and hugged that woman. Jessica startled. Eomma? It’s mean that...

“Aigoo, Lee Joon~a! It’s so long since you came here last time! Look at this face! Omo, you’re so handsome!” Lee Joon’s eomma pinched her son’s cheek. Lee Joon laughed a little, felt ashamed.

Jessica rolled her eyeball. Jinjja...she felt like she is watching a movie right know.

Lee Joon’s eomma finally realized Jessica’s appearance.

“Who’s that young lady? Is she your girlfriend?” she asked.

“Anio,” Lee Joon and Jessica quickly answered. Lee Joon’s eomma felt confused.

“Then who’s she?”

Lee Joon quickly grabbed her mother’s arm,

“Come on, eomma. Your son is hungry. Let’s go inside and I’ll tell everything,” he said while smiled widely.

Lee Joon’s eomma prepared some delicious food. Lee Joon looked enthusiastic,

“Whoaaa...This is too much, eomma...”

Her mother laughed,

“It’s nothing! Just foods like usual,”

Then she sat near him and looked at Jessica,

“Now, tell me who’s this young lady,” she asked and Lee Joon quickly choke,

“Wait for a minute, eomma! Your son is eating right now!” he protested.

“Ya, ya! You must tell me now!”

“My name is Jessica, ahjumma...I’m...” Jessica answered but Lee Joon said quickly,

“She’s my friend. My old friend from college, eomma. Her name is Jessica Jung,”

Her mother nodded,

“OK. Omo, you’re so beautiful, young lady...” she said and smiled. Jessica smiled too. She really like Lee Joon’s mother smile.

“Thank you so much, ahjumma...”

“Can she live here for a moment, eomma? She just back from America and she doesn’t know where to go. She doesn’t like to go to hotel,” Lee Joon asked.

Lee Joon’s mother smiled widely once again,

“Of course, of course! Your name is Jessica, right? Ah, Jessica, I’m so glad if you stay here with us. My husband will be happy too,”

Jessica tried to smile. This is not what she expects. She didn’t want to stay here. She wanted to go to Taeyeon’s place.

“Ah, really? Thank you, ahjumma...”

When Lee Joon and his mother started to talk, Jessica said that she want to go to bathroom. Then after she was far from them, she looked for her phone and tried to call Taeyeon,

“Taeyeoni...Tae...” and suddenly she surprised. Lee Joon took her phone,

“What did you do? Give my phone back!” Jessica tried to take her phone from him. Lee Joon just looked at her coldly,

“You can’t call anyone. You may not call anyone,” he said. Jessica shocked,

“But I want to call my friend!” she shouted.

“Then you bring danger to yourself,” Lee Joon said coldly once again. Jessica was too shock to say anything.

“But my sister! I have a sister! Oh, I didn’t mean to say...”

“Victoria will be alright,” Lee Joon answered. Jessica surprised Lee Joon knew about Victoria. Then she remembered that until now, she forgot to act cold. Then she changed her posture and looked at Lee Joon coldly,

“I understand, officer...” then she went back to dining room.

 “You must stay here for a moment. Perhaps for several weeks,” Lee Joon said behind her back.

“I understand,” Jessica answered without looked at him.

Then Jessica stay at Lee Joon’s mother’s home. She still tried to contact Taeyeon or Siren but Lee Joon came everyday and always smelt out her act,

“Go back to your own home!” Jessica felt angry when Lee Joon took her phone for tenth time.

“Later, when you stop to contact your friend or your sister,” Lee Joon answered while put Jessica’s cellphone in his bag.

“Aaaaarrgh! Officer Lee!” Jessica shouted. Lee Joon just looked at her calmly,

“Relax, Medusa. I did this for you too,”

Jessica tried to hold her anger. Lee Joon smiled,

“I said you must to relax. Now, go to kitchen and help my mother,” he commanded.

“Jessie! Come on dear, the galbi must be ready in ten minutes before Lee Joon’s father come!” suddenly Lee Joon’s mother called her.

Jessica really hates this situation. She really hates Lee Joon. And she really hates how his mother called her “Jessie”.

But she didn’t have choice.
