The next day

Chunji took a step back and admired his handy work. The roof top had transformed into a completely magically romantic place. There were balloons that were threaded together to make a huge heart shaped sign. Rose petals littered the floor. Teddy bears of all sizes were placed all around, peeking meekly from their corners.

*I hope Miyoung will like all this!!*

Chunji looked at his watch, *Miyoung should be arriving anytime soon! I should wait for her at the gates!!*

Chunji hopped energetically to the main gates and looked reverently for any sign of a curly haired ahjuma looking girl. None.

5 minutes.

10 minutes.

15 minutes.

It's really weird.. Miyoung isn't usually this late for school. Could she be sick?* Chunji thought worriedly.

1 minute before the school gates closed, a large black porshe arrived.

*Oh it's key. He's almost late as usual.*

Chunji ignored him, that is, until he saw another girl getting off his car.

"Miyoung?" Chunji asked, totally confused.

"What are you doing coming to school in Key's car? Didnt I tell you to be careful of him?" Chunji asked, completely agitated and shaking Miyoung's shoulders hard.

"What are you doing touching my fiance?" Key asked in triumph.

"Fiance?" Chunji asked in disbelief, his head shooting towards Miyoung. The word never sounded more foreign in his ears.

Miyoung dipped her head, not daring to look at Chunji. She didn't dare look into his penetrating eyes. She didn't dare look at him for another second, in fear that she will fall in love with him even more and cause herself even more pain.

"Miyoung ah.. You're Key's fiance?" Chunji choked out.

Key grew frustrated and pulled Miyoung away. Chunji held her back and pleaded," Just let me talk to her for 5 minutes. Please."

"3 minutes." Key argued.

Chunji nodded frantically and practically pulled Miyoung's hands out by pulling her to an empty classroom on top speed.

When they reached, Chunji held on to Miyoung's hands and looked deep into her eyes. "You're engaged to Key? Since when?" he choked in pain.

"Yesterday." Miyoung whispered.

"Do you.. .. love him?" Chunji spat the last two words out.

Miyoung nodded and turned around so Chunji couldn't see the tears threatening to fall.

"I'm sorry Oppa," Miyoung whispered. "I should have told you earlier.."

Chunji stared at her, his heart hurting as though some one stabbed him. There he was standing, and the woman he loved telling him she loved another. Chunji felt like he was banished to hell.

"Please tell me this isn't true.." Chunji whispered, just above his breath.

Miyoung blinked back her tears and brought her most determined face out," I'm sorry Oppa.."

"But you didn't even like him before!" Chunji shrieked.

"But I found Key considerate sensitive and cute." Miyoung lied. "I love him oppa. Please give us your blessings."

Chunji glared at the floor as though it was the one causing him all the pain.

*I don't believe this. I don't believe this. I don't believe this.. Miyoung loves Key. Miyoung is engaged to Key. Miyoung is going to get married to Key.. Why? WHY!*

Chunji took a deep breath and whispered," Congrats."

"Thanks Oppa." Miyoung said and ran away.

Chunji collapsed on the ground, tears flowing down, sobbing like there's no tomorrow.

*How is it possible that my heart can hurt so badly when I'm not even physically hurt?*
