Chapter16

*a week later*

The doctor said, today I can bring ~~~ home. I excitedly walk to the hospital and greeted the doctor, ~~~ was still the same. She hadn’t remember me, but at least she seems to warm up to me a little.

“hello doctor” I smile as I open the door to find ~~~ and the doctor talking.

“oh, you’re here. Miss ~~~, Kwangmin will take you home today” the doctor adjust me and she just nodded.

“you’re ready?”

After a so short conversation, the doctor head out of the room, leaving me and ~~~ alone, I look at her and smile, she just stare at me and decided to pack up her things. I went to her side and help her. She ignore me.

“you must be happy to get out of here” I said, she nodded.

“ne” she replied as she stood up “let’s go”

“ok”

We take the bus as the hospital is located afar from her house.

“tadaa~ we’re at your house” I said as we arrive.

“this is my house?” she tilted her head.

“it’s cute right? Just like you” I look at her and made an eye smile and found her blushing, I chuckle at the thought that she still look as cute as ever.

“l-let’s go inside” she walk past me, I follow.

I stuck the key to the doorknob and twist it open, the scent of the house stuck to my nose, the scent of air fresher. Ever since I know that ~~~ was going to leave the hospital I took the opportunity to clean her house, I can’t just let her home with a dusty house right?

“it smell nice” she spoke up.

“do you like it?” I turn to her.

“yes” she answer simply.

It took her 30 minutes of wonder through the house, she must be filling her memory lane, every time she stop she would look around admiringly then glance at me and asking me if I knew anything, of course it will be a big total NO because, I don’t know her house, duh. But I wish she will remember as every step she take.

“do you want to eat anything?” I ask out of curiosity.

“sure” she smiled, she must be hungry.

It took some effort to even just make some ddbukki. She even offer to help, but I would ask her to just sit down and watch. In times I would fed her some and clean the tip of her lips, I arch her lips with my thumbs, feeling her moisture beauty, noticing the pinkness that arrives on her cheek I turn away as if pretending I didn’t notice it and proceed with my cooking.

After finishing the not so pretty ddbukki that I made she looks at me with tiredness in her eyes. I figure she was sleepy so I took her hands in mine. Her small hands build warmth in my grasp. She yawn.

“let’s get you some sleep” I smiled, she nodded.

“thank you, the ddbukki was delicious” the words brush up to my ear, sending another curl upon my lips, I caresses her hair and remove some hair off her forehead.

“you’re welcome” I manage to choke out and led the way up the stairs, the more I stare into her eyes I came to draw much more attracted to her then, the guiltier I felt.

She glance around her bedroom, maybe remembering something? She sat on the bed and test the bounce, I chuckled, she looks like a kid, then falling on her bed, she closed her eyes shut, silence.

“~~~” I call out to her, she didn’t reply, I walk towards her.

Looking at her, I inch closer to her, is she really already asleep?

“are you really asleep?” I poke her cheek, but she didn’t respond. I pick up her blanket and cover her body, I glance around the room. My eyes lock on her desk then back at her. I inch closer to her, leaning my hand to her right face, I remove the hair that stuck to her lips. I lean closer, until our lips touched, I kiss her. Closing my eyes, I broke the kiss.

“I love you” I back away.

Glancing for the last time at the desk, the diary.

“take care” I walk out of the room, closing the door shut.

“I’m sorry”
