As stated previously, Sehun hadn’t been able to meet Luhan for the past couple weeks. While Sehun’s adventures continued, he couldn’t help but worry about Luhan, though this shouldn’t have been too surprising to Sehun, since Luhan usually seemed to disappear every now and again. Luhan’s disappearing acts could be considered fairly normal by now. But if there was any trend regarding this, it was that Luhan always came back.

Kai had decided he missed Sehun too much and joined the group for miscellaneous adventures to anywhere and everywhere. Sehun wasn’t so sure about him joining since he just sort of left Sehun for reasons still unknown to Sehun. But regardless of the secrets being kept, they were still friends and that was enough reason alone for Kai to join the group.

Kai was happy to be able to go on adventures with SeBaekYeol, especially because Sehun hadn’t been able to get Chen to change him back to normal. Kai especially took a liking to Sehun’s kitty-self. Sehun wasn’t all too happy himself over this but Chen refused to change him back until he found something that would be useful for Sehun’s Mermaid Coin issue. But Sehun eventually got used to his  and now he sorta likes them. Just sorta though.

Because Sehun hasn’t ever been to the Bubblegum Orchards, both Kai and Baekhyun thought it would be a wonderful learning opportunity for Sehun. Sehun himself wasn’t so sure what he was going to learn, but that was okay; he was going someplace new and, hopefully, exciting.

Sehun felt like he stepped into Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax. The trees in the orchard reminded Sehun of the Truffula trees because of how fluffy they seemed to be. The tree trunks were also multicolored, alternating between yellow and any color in the spectrum. But unlike The Lorax, the bushes and shrubs were blue and the grass was purple.

“Can I try some?” Sehun asked, sounding like a little kid in a candy shop, which wasn’t really an inaccurate description.

“You may, but please be careful, Sehun-ah. Don’t hurt the trees; this is the last remaining Bubblegum Orchard,” Kai explained. “It’s more like a national park or something or other now.”

Sehun was already gone by the time Kai finished speaking, as were Chanyeol and Baekhyun.

“How come we never came here before?” Sehun pouted. “It’s really nice here. Tasty too.”

“Haha, that it surely is, Sehun-ah,” Chanyeol laughed, popping his gum.

“You know, I’m not quite sure why we haven’t come here yet,” Baekhyun pondered, looking off into the distance with a faraway look.

“Don’t be so dramatic, Baekhyun,” Kai scowled. “Sehun just wasn’t ready to come, that’s all. There’s a lot to take in when one comes to the Bubblegum Orchards.”

“I probably would have been fine, Kai,” Sehun frowned, his cat ears flattening against his head.

“No, you wouldn’t have been,” Kai argued. “You’d probably try eating all the gum and end up getting stuck in the pond and one of us would have to fish you out. Then we’d have to get the gum off you; do you know how difficult that is?”

“No…” Sehun whispered, looking anywhere but at Kai.

“Exceptionally difficult. We’d need loads of peanut butter,” Kai said, scowling at the thought wasting so much peanut butter.

“Peanut butter?”

“Are you dumb or something?” Kai asked, sending a scrutinizing glare towards Sehun, not caring that he sounded mean. “Peanut butter gets gum out of hair and stuff.”

Sehun frowned, “Well how would I know that? I never had gum on me before!”

“Okay let’s stop fighting!” Chanyeol yelled, getting in between the two. “We’re here to enjoy the wonders that is the Bubblegum Orchards, so let’s not upset the wildlife with petty arguments.”

“Wow, Chanyeol sounded smart for once,” Baekhyun commented. “Don’t get your hopes up boys, it probably won’t last long.”

“I resent that!”

It was getting dark now in dreamland and Sehun’s friends left him for errands. Of all things, errands. Couldn’t they have done them when he was awake? Apparently not, it seems. So, Sehun was alone, wandering about dreamland, hoping to find something to do.

Somehow, Sehun made his way back to his and Luhan’s favorite field, with the tree and swing. The sky was turning dark blue again, silver stars twinkling and sparkly prettily. The moon was out this time, sending down white, pale blue moonbeams that glittered and gleamed, lighting the field in the most beautiful of ways. Sehun felt his breath get caught in his throat. Why couldn’t such beauty naturally exist while in his waking life?

Sehun could have cried, realizing that nothing in his waking life would ever be so magnificent and captivating.

“Don’t cry now, Sehunnie.” Sehun felt warm hands rub his arm soothingly. He turned and saw Luhan smiling gently at him. Sehun almost couldn’t help but let a few tears fall. First awed by the magic of the field, and now struck by Luhan’s smile. Has Luhan always looked this enchanting?

“Aw, my Sehunnie,” Luhan smiled that one particular smile that made Sehun weak in the knees. He wiped at Sehun’s face, making sure to catch all of Sehun’s tears.

“Luhan,” Sehun whispered, moving closer to Luhan, arms wrapping around Luhan’s torso and face nuzzling the crook of Luhan’s neck softly.

“Ah, what’s this, my Sehunnie is purring?” Luhan chuckled. He brought a hand up to one of Sehun’s cat ears, rubbing at the base of the ear, earning a low purr from Sehun. “When did you become a cat humanoid?”

“A kitty, not a cat,” Sehun corrected, mumbling into Luhan’s neck.

“My mistake, then,” Luhan said softly.

“But yeah, Chen did this to me a couple weeks back,” Sehun whined, frowning. “He won’t change me back either.”

“I’d rather you stay this way.”

“Well if that’s the case, then I guess I can stay like this a bit longer,” Sehun mumbled again.

“Thank you, Sehunnie,” Luhan smiled.

Luhan lead Sehun to their swing. He sat down first, gesturing Sehun to sit on his lap, rather than sitting beside him. Sehun, of course, flushed a pretty pink but still complied with Luhan’s demand. Luhan then wrapped his arms around Sehun’s middle, hugging him tightly. A happy grin broke out on his face when he felt Sehun relax into his hold.

“I have something to tell you,” Luhan said, grin still intact.

“Is it a good something?”

“A very good something,” Luhan said. “It’s such a good something, that it’s going to be a surprise.”

Sehun frowned, “I think you should tell me now.”

“Hmm, no; I don’t think I will,” Luhan smirked. “You can wait just a bit for the surprise.”

“No, I can’t,” Sehun pouted, turning away from Luhan. “Tell me now.”

“No can do,” Luhan smiled again. “It’ll be worth the wait, I promise.”

“No, I think it’d be best if you told me now,” Sehun said, turning back to face Luhan. He looked up and was left breathless. Has Luhan’s smile always been this alluring and charming?

“How are you so handsome, Luhan?” Sehun asked in complete seriousness. “Are you sure you’re real?”

“Ah, Sehunnie, I’m really not that–”

“No, you can’t argue with me!” Sehun said defiantly. “In all dictionaries ever, next to the definition of handsome is your face.”

“But I’m really not –”

“No! Just stop arguing with me!” Sehun said loudly, shaking his head.

Luhan was about to respond but couldn’t, since Sehun’s mouth was pressed to his own in a kiss. Sehun pressed against Luhan a bit harder, hoping to get a response out of the older. Luhan soon got over his initial shock at the sudden kiss attack and kissed Sehun back.

This particular kiss wasn’t like their other kisses. Well, it started off like their previous kisses, but morphed into something that held more. Sehun wasn’t entirely sure what more could their kisses be, until Luhan started and nipping at his lower lip. Sehun whimpered at the new feeling, completely unused to it. Luhan soon pulled away, finally understanding that Sehun wasn’t going to do what he wanted.

Luhan chuckled, “You know, when someone you like that, you’re supposed to open your mouth.”

Sehun flushed a deep red.

“It’s okay; we’ll have plenty of time to practice,” Luhan smirked, his lips.

Sehun, staring at Luhan’s lips, couldn’t help but do the same to his own, tasting Luhan. Still staring at Luhan’s slightly swollen lips, Sehun leaned closer and at Luhan’s lips. He gave a few long all the while looking directly into Luhan’s eyes. Luhan pushed Sehun back a bit once Sehun was done.

“If you know what’s good for you, Sehunnie, you’d wake up right now,” Luhan growled, eyes darkening with lust and need.

Cue Sehun’s alarm clock pulling him out of one the best dreams he’d ever had. 

**I apologize for the confusion regarding kitty Sehun. Hopefully I've cleared things up with the lastest chapters. Essentially, Sehun is human but with kitty ears and a tail (humanoid) ((think Tokyo Mew Mew's Momomiya Ichigo, sans powers and cute costume)). Nothing too crazy.**

A/N: Wooooo update!!

But to my regret this story seems like it's going to be ending a lot sooner than I had originally anticipated. Just warning you now, that there is a maxium of 3 chapters left. The least amount is 2 chapters left. 

This is upsetting me tbh. My first story that I'd actually complete /cries
