“What do you mean, ‘Luhan is real.’” Yixing deadpanned.

“Exactly what I said. According to Kai, Luhan is as real as you and me,” Sehun replied. He was picking at his nails; something he does when he’s a bit troubled.

“I have a hard time believing you,” Yixing said, taking Sehun’s hands in his so Sehun would stop ruining his pretty nails. “Did Kai even explain anything?”

“No, he said that it’ll make sense later,” Sehun sighed. “He’s such an asshat, keeping important stuff like this away from me.”

“I’ll say, especially since he could be pulling your leg for all we know. You said he likes pranking people, right?” Yixing said, recalling one of the many times Sehun spoke of Kai.

“Oh ,” Sehun said quietly. He didn’t think of this possibility. Kai loved pranks and tricks and everything in between. But Kai wouldn’t do that to him; Kai wasn’t so cruel to mess with a person’s feelings. Well, Sehun sure hoped so. “I never thought of that.”

“Let’s hope Kai’s decent enough to not toy with you like that,” Yixing said quietly.

That night Sehun feel asleep right away. He was going to talk to Luhan.

Sehun awoke in a place he hasn’t ever been before. He was at a beach. The water was such a wonderful cerulean blue; Sehun couldn’t help but be drawn to it. But he had to stop himself as he noticed the night sky. There were three moons, all of them being a different pale color. The biggest of the three moons was just peeking out from the curve of dreamland, like a sunrise on Earth. There were shooting stars and if Sehun squinted, he could see nebulae twinkling along with the other stars. Sehun stared in awe and wonder at the magnificence of the night sky.

Sehun let out a small gasp as he felt something wrap around him. More like someone.

He looked down and saw a pair of arms around him. He turned back and saw Luhan. Sehun could feel himself instantly relax. That could have been bad if this person wasn’t Luhan.

“Hey,” Luhan whispered.

“Hey back,” Sehun whispered too.

Luhan chuckled his reply and hugged Sehun just a bit closer to him, nuzzling into the crook of Sehun’s neck. In response, Sehun leaned back into Luhan’s hold. This was perfect.

Luhan later suggested that they find someplace to sit and relax together. Sehun agreed, since his feet were starting to bother him from standing for a while. It didn’t take them long to find an area where there were benches. Sehun was about to sit down on the nearest bench but Luhan had other plans. He guided Sehun a little ways from the normal park benches to something Sehun hasn’t seen before. It was made of wood, of that Sehun was moderately sure. It was wide and was similar to a lounge chair, almost. It was curved to fit a person’s body so he could lie, where his knees would be slightly bent comfortably, while still sitting upwards though reclined.*

“Let’s lay here, Sehunnie,” Luhan said, pulling Sehun towards the lounging bench.

“Okay,” Sehun replied, walking closely behind Luhan.

Luhan gestured Sehun to sit down, so he did. Luhan followed suit, sitting next to Sehun so he was touching the younger’s left side with his right. Sehun felt himself relax next to the warmth that was Luhan, but not enough to fall into unconsciousness.

Sehun gazed into the night sky, wishing desperately that his waking life’s night sky was always so naturally lit. For Sehun lived in a fairly large populated city, the lights always drowned out the stars brightness. Maybe moving out to the country wouldn’t be such a bad idea if he could see such beauty daily.

“So pretty,” Sehun spoke, more than likely, unconsciously. Sehun’s heart swelled as he admired the night sky.

“But not as pretty as you,” Luhan said, gazing at Sehun longingly.

Sehun whipped his head towards Luhan, eyes wide in shock. “W-What did you j-just call me?”

“Pretty,” Luhan smiled, laughing a bit. “That was probably one of the corniest things to say but in all honesty, Sehun-ah; I believe there’s nothing as pretty as you.”

Sehun couldn’t believe what Luhan was saying. Sure he’s heard it from a whole slew of different people, his own mom included, but hearing it from Luhan, was an entirely different story. His face must be on fire in a blush.

“There’s no reason to be embarrassed, Sehun-ah,” Luhan kept smiling. He reached his hand out to Sehun’s face, gently cupping Sehun’s cheek, rubbing the soft skin slightly. “I’m just stating a fact.”

Sehun was sure that his face was fire truck red at this point. He turned his gaze anywhere but Luhan’s handsome face. But that didn’t last long as Luhan took ahold of Sehun’s chin, turning Sehun’s face back towards himself, same smile still intact.

Either Sehun wasn’t expecting what was going to happen next or he was dumb. Probably both to be honest.

Luhan didn’t stop moving Sehun’s face towards his while moving his face closer yet to Sehun’s. He captured the younger’s lips in a sweet kiss not completely unlike their previous shared kisses, one hand moving to rub Sehun’s cheek while the other went to Sehun’s hair, playing with the locks.

Their earlier shared kisses were nothing more than cute lip touches which left soft, pleasant tingles. But this kiss, there was something more to it than just simple lip touches. Well for one thing, they didn’t part two seconds after their lips touched.

Sehun felt Luhan’s lips start to move softly against his own in a way that made Sehun want more. Since Luhan was Sehun’s first kiss, and so far only kiss, he really didn’t know much about kissing, aside from lips being smooshed against each other in a way that would feel nice. That and kisses from moms and dads made kids stop crying.

So Sehun kissed Luhan back, almost mimicking Luhan’s lips, hoping that Luhan could also feel the warm tingles he was feeling. It seemed as though Luhan did feel them since Sehun could feel Luhan smiling into the kiss. He couldn’t help but mirror Luhan.

Sehun broke the kiss a few moments later for a breath of air. Since he wasn’t used to kissing like that, he was panting just a teeny bit. He looked at Luhan. A smile full of warmth and happiness was there. Sehun’s heart swelled in a way that it hasn’t ever before, tightening just a bit so it was difficult to breathe.

Sehun let out the breath he was holding when he felt Luhan play with his hair again. He’s always loved it when people played with his hair; it’s just always felt nice to him. But this was something special since it was Luhan who was playing with his hair.

Sehun closed his eyes, a content smile taking place on his face, an identical one on Luhan’s. This was by far Sehun’s favorite dream.

But sadly all good things must come to an end. Sehun and Luhan heard an alarm go off, no doubt Sehun’s, the noise seeping into his dreams. It was faint at the moment, but soon enough it would be loud enough to wake him.

“Let’s continue this the next time we dream,” Luhan said softly, hand still messing with Sehun’s hair.

“Okay,” Sehun whispered back.

He finally opened his eyes to see Luhan looking at him fondly.

And he woke up.

A/N: So here is an update. I don't know how to explain the feelings of kisses because I haven't kissed many people orz but I hope it makes some sense lol. But um with the way things are progessing, it seems like this will be ending within the next ~6-7 chapters and the epilogue. So that would be a maximum of 8 more chapters. But askdjfa this makes me sad tbh. Oh well moving on.
