Welcome to my third chapter, readers :)

I personally think it's a little rushed. :L

But I'm not sure what you'll think.

At the moment, I'm trying to push the story forward, because Eun Mi still hasn't met her guy yet...please be patient! I promise you guys that he'll appear in the next chapter.

Thank you for even bothering to look at my fanfic :D

Two weeks passed, one day after the other, each not unlike the other. Eun Mi spent that time bonding with her brother and his girlfriend, phoning her friends back in Australia, shopping, and exploring her new home, America. Finally, it was time for her to leave, and begin her studies at Yale. The university was just about to being its second semester.

After Eun Mi had loaded her luggage, and as Eun Mi was about to board the coach, Isabella and Eun Kyung said their goodbyes.

“Bye bye Eun Mi unnie! It was nice meeting you. Here, take this.” said Isabella, handing her a rolled up sheet of paper, and winking. “It’s not much, but it’ll look nice on your dorm room wall.” Eun Mi took it, and thanked her with gratitude.

“Work hard, noona! Surprise everyone with your intelligence. Remember to call me if you have any problems.” said Eun Kyung, waving goodbye.

Eun Mi stepped onto the bus, waved goodbye and thanked the two repeatedly for looking after her.

“You’re welcome!” said Isabella generously. “There’s no need to thank us.”

“I have to go now, I’ll call you once I get there.” said Eun Kyung, climbing up the steps of the bus. She continued by walking down the aisles and choosing a seat by the window.  As the bus drove away, Eun Mi looked out the window to see Eun Kyung and Isabella waving to her. She waved back, until the two figures disappeared. Eun Mi took out her iPod from her carry-on bag, turned it on and placed her earphones into her ears.

The first song that came up on shuffle was Super Junior’s L.O.V.E. She had bought all of Super Junior’s albums, after Isabella had persuaded her to do so. Eun Mi had needed new songs anyway; the ones on her iPod were getting old.

“L to the O to the V to the E hanuri munojyo...”

There was that word again. Love. Would I ever have someone who will love me? Would I ever truly love someone? My brother is already in love with Isabella. I wonder if the members of Super Junior have ever experienced true love...

Suddenly, she remembered the gift that Isabella had just given to her. She took it, rolled the elastic band off it, and unrolled the sheet. It turned out to be another poster - this time, a Super Junior one. They all seemed so perfect. She touched each member’s face gently, wondering who was who. There were only ten...what happened to the other three? Then she remembered why; Isabella had told her that Kangin, Hangeng and Kibum were off in their own separate directions, and were currently not participating in the group’s activities. From what she knew, the hot looking blonde was Leeteuk, the leader.

He’s quite good looking...ok, very good looking...

Eun Mi smiled and rolled the poster up again.

I must remember to thank Isabella once I arrive at Yale.

Two hours passed, and Eun Mi finally arrived at her destination: Yale University. She stepped off the bus, took her luggage, and made her way to the Administration Office.

“Hello. I’m Kim Eun Mi. I’m a transfer student.” said Eun Mi, politely.

“Ok.” replied a tired looking, but friendly middle-aged lady. “Let me just look you up.” Her nametag read Susan.

“Here is everything you need - your timetable, dorm room number, key, map and everything else.” said a welcoming Susan and handed over the document. “Welcome to Yale, Eun Mi. To find your dorm, exit out of this building, and turn left.”

“Thank you very much.” said Eun Mi, who took the document. With luggage in hand, she followed the lady’s instructions. She quickly found the building, which had the sign “Davenport College Dormitories”. Pulling the sheet of paper which stated her room number, she made her way there using the lift. Eun Mi walked until she reached room 18. She knocked on the door, and waited until someone came to answer it. 

Footsteps sounded from behind the door before a face poked out of the opening of the door. Eun Mi recognised the face, which belonged to Hye Ri.

“Hye Ri! I didn’t know I’d be sharing a room with you!” exclaimed Eun Mi.

Hye Ri widened the door, laughed, and hugged Eun Mi.

“Come on, let’s get you sorted.” said Hye Ri, grabbing Eun Mi’s suitcase.

Eun Mi met her other roommate, Vivian Choi. She wore glasses, had freckles and short black hair.

She’s really cute!

They both showed her to her bed, in the left hand corner. Beside it was a blank wall, which Eun Mi decided, needed some decorating. After she had unpacked all her belongings, she placed her suitcase under her bed, so she could store it.

She stuck her DBSK and Super Junior poster onto the wall. After she was done, she stood back to admire it. Hye Ri and Vivian walked over to look.

“Super Junior!” cried Vivian gleefully. “My loves! My babies!”

Eun Mi and Hye Ri both gave their roommate an amused look.

“Who’s your favourite?” asked Vivian. “Mine’s Eunhyuk! He’s way y.”

“I’m not much of a Super Junior fan.” admitted Hye Ri. “But that guy looks pretty hot.” Hye Ri pointed to the tall one - Siwon.

“Oh that’s Siwon, yeah he’s pretty hot, but not as hot as my Eunhyuk.” said Vivian. “What about you, Eun Mi?”

“Well, uh, I’m sort of new to this Super Junior thing.” said Eun Mi, meekly. “My brother’s girlfriend gave me this poster.”

Vivian looked shocked.

“How could you not have known about Super Junior before?” asked Vivian, shocked. “Just make sure your favourite isn’t Eunhyuk, because he’s mine!”

“Well, I guess I never really bothered to get obsessed.” said Eun Mi. “I like DBSK though...”

The three roommates quickly became close friends. Eun Mi felt that apart from her friends in Australia, they were pretty much her best friends. Soon, the semester ended and the holidays were back. Eun Mi had decided to visit her family’s home country - Korea. She hadn’t visited for a while, and she felt the need to visit her parents, who were too busy to visit her themselves.

Eun Mi waved goodbye to her friends, Hye Ri and Vivian. She assured them that she would be back soon and thanked them for driving her.

“Have fun in Korea! We will miss you.” said Vivian.

“Don’t worry, you’re making it sound as though I’m going to live in Korea forever, as opposed to two monthes.” replied Eun Mi.

“We’ll still miss you though! You should go now, it’s nearly time.” said Hye Ri, glancing at her watch.

Eun Mi waved goodbye, before walking towards the airport terminal. She had already checked-in, and given in her luggage. She had bought a new suitcase - a smaller one this time.

She boarded the airplane, found her designated seat, and sat down, waiting for the plane to take off. The usual procedure was undergone, where passengers were told where the emergency exits were and what to do in case of an emergency. Finally, the engine roared to life. Eun Mi closed her eyes. All she had to do now was to relax, and wait for the touch-down landing.

Davenport College - Yale University has a system of 12 residential colleges (Davenport is one of them)

I know it's shorter than my other two chapters; this time, it was only 1200 ;O

It's normally 2000+ :3

I'll make up for it!

Oh well; I promise you that Eun Mi's guy will appear in chapter 4 ;D
