Hey guys :D

I know I'm meant to be on a hiatus (see blog~), but I couldn't resist writing another chapter for you guys :3

So here it is ^^

“Would you like to stay for dinner?”

That question hit both Eun Mi and Kyuhyun hard, right on their noses.  Eun Mi froze.

“Eh...?” 

Still reading the newspaper, her mother repeated the question, articulating each word clearly. Eun Mi gave her mother a questioning look, to which she pretended to not notice, and instead, smirked rather evilly, as if she was an evil genius.

What the hell is my mum up to.

“Well, Ji Wook-shi, would you like to stay?” she asked again, imposingly.

Eun Mi continued glaring at her mother, wishing that either her or her mother would just melt into a pile of ash.

Mum...what are you doing? You’re acting a tad creepy...

Kyuhyun shifted uncomfortably, unsure.

How else can I answer her? If I said no, she might bash me up. What do I say, what do I say?! Well, what CAN I say?

“Um...dinner would be great.”  Kyuhyun said, after a moment’s pause.

“Excellent.” said Tae Yoon briskly, getting up from her seat.

Just at that moment, Kyuhyun’s pocket vibrated, sounding a ringtone.  Slightly flushed, Kyuhyun excused himself, and moved to the corner of the room to answer his phone.

[Kyuhyun]

“Hello?” asked Kyuhyun, with a guilty undertone.

“YA! Where are you?” asked Leeteuk, evidently angry, yet still trying to be calm.

“Um...I’m stuck in a very difficult situation...”

“Like what? You got caught out in the rain again?”

“Um...no...something different.”

“What do you mean something different? What is wrong with you? First you wander off...”

Leeteuk continued prattling on, making a list, but Kyuhyun cut him short.

“Mianhe hyung, but I have to go. I most probably won’t be home tonight...bye!”

Kyuhyun quickly pressed the end button and his phone, and sighed in relief.

[Super Junior Dorm]

“Yoboseyo?” said Leeteuk, annoyed. “Anyone there?”

Sadly for him, Kyuhyun had already hung up.

“Aish.”

“What’s wrong Teukkie hyung?” asked Ryeowook.

“Looks like Kyuhyun won’t be coming home tonight.” Leeteuk replied with a sigh.

“What? But our concert is in two days!” exclaimed Sungmin.

“I know, I know...there’s nothing we can do about it.” said Leeteuk dejectedly.

“I seriously think Kyu’s got like a girlfriend or something.” said Siwon absent-mindedly. “Like seriously.”

[Eun Mi’s apartment]

As Eun Mi’s mother prepared dinner, Eun Mi disappeared into her bedroom, while Kyuhyun sat on the couch, playing with his phone. She closed the door behind her, and made her way to her desk, turning her laptop on. Once everything had loaded, she signed onto MSN, where her roommate, Vivian immediately began a conversation with her.

Vivian<3 says:

*OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!

Eun Mi ^^ says:

 * Oh hey xD

Vivian<3 says:

*SUPER SHOW 3!!!! ^_^ Are you going? :P

Eun Mi ^^ says:

* What Super Show...

Vivian<3 says:

* SUPER JUNIOR CONCERT OF COURSE!

*  It’s in two days xD

Eun Mi ^^ says:

* Lol, I soooooo knew that!

* Nahhh...there’s no one to go with...I’m such a loner over here ><

* And plus, the tickets are most probs all sold out

* So on Friday night, we shall go on a plane and fly to LA ^^

* Then spend the weekend there, and be in time for school on Monday :D

Eun Mi immediately got up from her chair, and walked into the dining room as soon as her mother announced that it was dinnertime. When she arrived, Ji Wook was already sitting there, waiting patiently. Her mother had set out the table quite formally, with a posh tablecloth, shiny crystal wine glasses and her best china. Eun Mi was rather confused.

What’s with the poshness? It’s not like we’re supposed to be eating at some fancy restaurant or anything.

Eun Mi slowly sat herself down opposite Ji Wook, and stared off into space. Finally, Tae Yoon emerged from the kitchen, looking haughty and carrying numerous dishes, and a bottle of red wine.

“Ya. What are you doing?” Eun Mi muttered to her mother.

“Eh? What am I doing again?” Tae Yoon replied innocently, placing everything on the table.

She then smiled, and sat herself down.

“You’re most probably wondering why today’s dinner is so posh, but I realised that Eun Mi hasn’t had a proper welcoming since her arrival from America.” Tae Yoon announced happily.

“Ah. I see. Well, welcome to Korea, Eun Mi-shi!” said Ji Wook, while smiling at her.

Eun Mi’s stomach lurched, which squeezed the air from her lungs.

Please stop smiling. Please stop. It’s killing me.

“Um. Yes, thanks.” she replied, her heart beating faster and faster.

You’re so pathetic. Seriously, it’s just a smile.

“Anyway...anyone want some wine?” Tae Yoon asked, and without waiting for a reply, she opened the bottle of wine, and began pouring.

The dinner ambiance was full of chattering, mainly between Ji Wook and Tae Yoon, while Eun Mi sat peacefully eating her meal. Most of the dishes were exceptionally salty, and Eun Mi felt the need to drink gallons of water. Evidently, Ji Wook did too, refilling his glass of wine every few minutes, while Eun Mi’s mother just smiled and ate.

Ji Wook seemed to have a high tolerance of alcohol; having after bypassed the standard drink by far, he still looked sober. Even so, Tae Yoon insisted on him drinking more, and brought out another bottle. Eventually, his words became slurred, and his movements floppy.

“Oh dear...it looks like Ji Wook’s drunk.” Tae Yoon said, trying to keep a straight face. “He’s going to have to stay the night then.”

Eun Mi sighed, and wondered how much longer she would be able to bare, as well as what the hell her mother was up to.  

Muahahah >:D

Eun Mi's mother is sure damn evil huh? xD

Anyway, did you like ittt? ;D

I am planning great things for the next chapter n___n

Sadly, the next chapter will not be for a while (most probably), cos I'm trying to balance schoolwork and hardcore piano practise >_>
