No one’s POV: [At Zhoumi’s Party]

“Is it me or is Kyuhyun and Yumi taking such a long time to get here?” Henry asked Yesung and the others.

“You are right, Mochi.” Zhoumi pouted, “Do you think they have forgotten my birthday party?”

“I told Yumi before I took her home though.” Yesung blurted out, “I reminded her before I left.”

“And Kyuhyun wouldn’t want to miss you open the present he got you!” Sungmin added.

“Then where would they be??” Zhoumi asked.

*Ring! Ring!* Everyone jumped at the sudden ring. They were all around a table, worrying where Kyuhyun and Yumi are. *Ring! Ring!*

“Whose phone is that? Answer it already! It might be them!” Yesung yelled.

“Hyung, it’s yours.” Siwon said.

“Oh-” Yesung grabbed his phone from the table and answered. There was a long pause from all the boys as Yesung listened to the caller. They all watched how their weird hyung’s expression changed from very, very shocked.

“Hyung, is everything alright?” Eunhyuk asked while Donghae kept quiet. Yesung put the phone down and looked at them all.

“Kyuhyun and Yumi got into a car accident.”

No one’s POV: [At the hospital]

“Where is she? Where is my sister?”

“Where are they?”

“Is Kyuhyun and Yumi okay???”

“Calm down please sirs.” a nurse urged them to be quiet. “Are you all the family of Cho Kyuhyun and Yumi Eusebio??”

“Yes!” all the boys cried. The nurse eyed them all.

“It’s Kim Jong Yumi actually and I’m the older brother of her.”

“And I’m Kyuhyun’s best friend.” Sungmin put his hand up.

“We’re all their close friends.” Siwon blurted out.

“Can you please bloody well damn tell us if they are okay???” Henry hissed from behind the group. The nurse looked at the clipboard she was holding.

“It’s been already a full hour since we got the call about the crash and Kyuhyun can gained consciousness but there is no sign of Yumi doing so.”

“She is alright though? Right??” Yesung asked, his voice shaking.

“She has a cut on the side of her head but only a little but 3 broken ribs and a broken arm up to her wrist and to her elbow.” the nurse told them all.

“how about Kyuhyun?” Eunhyuk asked.

“He only had minor injuries so he is fine but Yumi is in a much more critical condition if she’s not waking up yet.” the nurse pursed her lips at them all.

“oh Yumi…” Yesung broke down in tears, “I knew I should of picked her up! I knew I should of made her go with me!”

“It’s not your fault hyung-” Zhoumi started.

“Can we go see either one of them?” Donghae asked, switching to one foot to another.

“You can visit Mr Cho in his room but you can’t go into Miss Kim’s at the moment.” the nurse told them the way to Kyuhyun’s room and they all hurried to see him quickly. Yesung wiped his tears as they all walked in to see him opening his eyes and looking around. He had some tubes with needles stuck to his skin, his hair pushed back to see some scratches on his face, a bruise showing on the bottom of his right eye, a cut lip at the corners and his leg was in a cast.

“Hyungs~” Kyuhyun breathed, trying to smile but failing miserably.

“Magnae…” Ryeowook sniffed, “how are you feeling?”

“Bruised.” Kyuhyun tried to shrug back, “But I can cope.”

“We are all so worried about you and Yumi.” Siwon pouted.

“I’m still alive.” Kyuhyun murmured.

“How comes Yumi was with you, Kyuhyun?” Yesung asked straightforwardly. “Why is she in the same care as you?” Kyuhyun looked away from his hyungs that surrounded him around the bed and looked up to the white ceiling.

“She’s been waiting for the bus for a long time so I picked her up and offered to take her to the party…” he answered truthfully.

“How did the crash happen?” Yesung asked.

“What-” Kyuhyun gaped.

“How did it happen Kyuhyun?” Yesung pushed.

“Hyung, we don’t want him to think about it at the moment-” Ryeowook started but Yesung silenced him by giving him a soft glare and turning back to the sweating evil magnae.

“We was just talking.” Kyuhyun gulped, “Well, I was talking to her and then she screamed at me to look out and then boom-”

“What was you talking about?” Donghae asked in curiosity. Kyuhyun swallowed hard once more.

“Well, she wasn’t really talking to me. I was-” he paused, “I was saying stuff to her.”

“Stuff?” Yesung asked, “What stuff??”

“I-” Kyuhyun’s bottom lip quivered.

“What did you tell my little sister, magnae?” Yesung turned angry.

“I told her stuff that I wished I never did tell.” Kyuhyun mumbled, not looking at any of his hyungs in the eyes. “I was being horrible to her. I was into being mean to her in the car-”

“You hurt Yumi’s feelings?!” Yesung cried.

“I didn’t mean to-” Kyuhyun started.

“What did you tell her?!”

“I called her a cold hearted …” Kyuhyun mumbled.

“You little rascal-” Yesung was about to grab him around the neck when Siwon put him in a tight lock around the upper torso, stopping him from going over to Kyuhyun and murdering him, “Why did you call her that you little bastard?! Eh? why???” Kyuhyun started to let out some tears.

“I didn’t mean to- I was a bit peed off with her saying stuff about Ahra-” the magnae started, “She called Ahra a -”

“Well your sister is a you know-” Donghae said, “You shouldn’t really take Yumi’s words for real as she don’t mean it in any ways! She just says those things for no reason-”

“This crash is all your fault magnae,” Yesung sniffed, “If you wasn’t so into being nasty to my sister and watched where you are driving this wouldn’t had happened!”

“Hyung, don’t blame him- I’m sure he didn’t mean for this to happen right, Kyu?” Sungmin murmured.

“Hyung, Mianhaeyo…” Kyuhyun started to apologize.

“Piss off.” Yesung said through gritted teeth and walked out of the room to look for his little sister. He looked through windows for 5 minutes till he found Yumi’s own private room. His eyes stung with fresh new tears when he saw her in the bed, with more tubes and stuff stuck on her. There was white bandage around her head, her whole arm was in a huge cast and she looked even more fragile. She also has an oxygen mask over her nose and mouth as she breathed slowly. The heart monitor was beeping normally.

“Yumi-shiie…” Yesung breathed and opened the door.

“Sir, you can’t go in there-” a doctor tried to stop him but Yesung became agitated and pushed him away.

“ off! I can see my little sister when I want!” Yesung screeched, “You can’t stop me!” he wretched open the door and walked over to Yumi’s bed and took her slightly cold hand in his. Tears started to fall down his cheeks as he Yumi’s cheek with the back of his hand.

“Yumi, please me okay…” he murmured, “if you can hear me, please don’t die okay? I need you. I don’t want to lose you anymore. I need you- Kkoming needs you! Sweet potato needs someone to take care of him, you know that? Jong Jin needs someone to poke in the cheeks. I need you~” he wiped his nose with his wet sleeves as he continued, “I need my little sister so please stay strong for me…” Outside the room, Donghae was just watching through the small window. His face was wet with his own tears as he saw Yumi’s fragile body laying on the bed. He sniffed deeply as Siwon crept to his side.

“Siwon-shiie… What cam we do?” he asked in a watery voice.

“The only thing we can do is pray…” Siwon replied, “Pray… That’s all we can do at the moment.”

“Please let her wake up soon.” Donghae breathed. He stopped when he saw Yumi breathing hard and uneven. “What- what’s happening to her?!” Inside, Yesung started to panic. His ears rang with the heart monitor which seemed to have accelerated.

“Yumi-” Yesung breathed as Yumi’s hand tightened around his own hand unconsciously, “Yumi- what’s wrong-” her chest was heaving up and down unevenly, her eyes were squeezing shut as she breathed through with the help of the oxygen mask. “NURSE!” Yesung screamed. Nurses and doctors started to come in the room after his urgent scream.

“Get out of here!” a doctor told him.

“No- I’m staying-” but Yesung was pushed out of the room and locked out. His view of Yumi was blocked by the numerous nurses and doctors. He can still hear the heart monitor.

“Yumi!” he yelled, banging onto the door when he saw the window and pushed Donghae away with do so much force that he topped onto the ground painfully. Donghae’s face was white as he also heard the heart monitor accelerating even more. Like Yumi was sprinting inside the room. That was the only thing they can hear. Ryeowook, Henry, Zhoumi, Eunhyuk all came out of Kyuhyun’s room in a hurry.

“What’s hapepning?!” Zhoumi hissed. But no one answered as they heard their own heartbeats in their ears along with the fast beeping of the heart monitor. The curtains were suddenly drawn from the room.

“Yumi-” Ryeowook gasped as he put his hand over his mouth as Henry and Eunhyuk both stood still in shock as the beeping continued and mild noises came from the room by the doctors and nurses.

“Yumi~” Yesung cried.
