“You have a date with Baekhyun?”

“Why? Is he your girlfriend?” she answered with mere mockery.

“Don’t go out with him, IU.”

She was wondering with Kai’s voice tone. It was the first time he straightforwardly forbidden her to do something. She’s the one who usually compels and obeyed.

“Don’t go out with him,” he repeated.

“And why not?”

He was briefly astonished that seems like looking for an excuse. “Because… he is not a good man when it comes to women.”

“Look who’s talking!”

“I’m better than him!”

“And so? You want me to go out with you instead? Is that what you’re trying to say, Kai?”

He didn’t answer. Instead, he looked at the books Jieun was reading. But she knew that his mind was drifting somewhere else. She’s curious in Kai’s strange behavior when he suddenly talked.
