Call Me Maybe"Stay right here." Sora nodded in agreement. She chose sit on the white couch across the bed. She pulled the white curtain to look at the night sky. She couldn't help but reminisce the times.
It was all moving too fast. They were paired as husband and wife for a job, a reality show. But it was just one of their many jobs. And addition to their already busy schedule, thus, they couldn't meet much as they wanted to. But the heart fluttering she felt the first time didn't fade. She misses him.
Initial awkwardness held them back but meeting once a week brought them closer. They were finally getting the hang of it, then the strike. Cliché as it may seem, but his absence makes her realize how much she love him.
She couldn't decide if it's fate or just random circumstance when they were notified of the filming date. She took a chance with him and go beyond. Their relationship getting better, and they used the show to meet up. Only to be cut short. The strike was even longer than the continuation of their stint.
With their blanket of a show gone, they need to be careful. Being spotted together would mill rumors that could damage their careers. Something they both didn't want to happen. they have to settle with late sneak outs. Jung Soo hated this particularly. He hated the fact that they were like criminals trying to hide in the darkness. But he must obliged to do so or suffer the consequences of the rage of the fans that can easily be an anti to their partners or even to themselves. They must endure the setup in order to protect.
But time once again has been unkind. Both of them have known this time will come, but nonetheless she's hurting and so is her man. The separation is inevitable and longer. Communication would be too little, only letters and a few phone calls. A few visits once allowed.
Sora, can't send him off in public, he knows that so he never expected to. Like his birthday, she needs to say her goodbyes to her, ahead of time.

Jung Soo is on his way home after he avoided the saesang fans that's following him around. As his enlistment comes nearer, seems the public's interest is on him. It's like he is put in a glass cage where they can watch his every move. Meeting Sora gets harder. And tonight, October 29, 2012, even on his last day as a civilian, he can't risk being with her. they said their goodbyes alright, but he just wants to see her badly. Sadly she can't meet him so he opted to go home. To spend time with her mom and sister.
"Jung Soo yah, aigoo yah, you're looking handsome with your short hair." greeted his sister In Young.
He walked in, and closed the door. He smiled at his sister and walked to his room. In Young still following him, and said, "Straight to your room without even saying hi to Mom first?"
But her sister seems to be in a playful mood block the door for him, then grab the handle and opened it. He look at her and was about to say something to his sister when his eye caught something.
"Sora yah!" stunned Jung Soo staring at her, couldn't believe his eyes. He stood there for a minute.
"He's so talkative, right Sora yah, Omma?" joked In Young. His mom already standing beside In Young without him noticing. Sora, couldn't hold it in, laugh at In Young's remark.
"Omma, I've been good to Jung Soo today, maybe he'll give me his car once he entered the military. It's not easy to kidnap his girlfriend." which earned her a thankful look from Jung Soo. "I think, I am a more suitable spy than you." added In Young.
"Aigoo yah! Let's leave them alone, you are disturbing them." replied her mom. "We'll be out for a while. We need to buy more food and we can't prepare it all with just the two us, and you're sister is of no help. Are all the members going to drop by here?"
"I'm not sure, but they might." was his short reply.
"I see, we'll be going then. If you're hungry, there are food at the kitchen."
He heard the front door closed but he stayed still, just looking at her.
"Oppa, here." Sora pulling Jung Soo on her side, motioning him to sit beside her. His expression still in shock.
"Oppa, have you been drinking coffee lately?" teasing him. She all know too well to whom the coffee he ordered went to. He couldn't drop by so he asked a friend to deliver the coffee to her.
"I don't think I can hide from you. Why, ELF's now are reporting to you my daily activities."
"I know, and there are pictures too." giggling Sora saw the post of the fans when he went to Kona Beans to buy some coffee and how hours ago he was spotted bringing his travelling bag before he came."You look good with your hair. Maybe you should stick with it." commented Sora.
"Really! I'll think it over once my schedule in the military is finished. But, tell me, how did you end up here?"
"In Young unni fetched me. She said you'll be coming home tonight."
"I must find her a gift after this. But I won't have time to buy it."
"Ani, don't buy one, she only wants your car." teasing him to see his cute bedimpled smile.
"Ay, you're on her side already?" he smiled at her to which Sora couldn't help but trace the dimple on his face with her right hand. The reason for their namesake. "Why is it that I am the last person to know where you are." He covered her right hand with his left, pushed a little to see the hard cold object that he felt on his face.
"I can wear this for today." Sora said reffering to the ring he gave him. "It fits right?"
"It's perfect." pulling her to a hug
"I'll write you letters. To remind you that I am here. And comeback safely."
"I will. I almost forgot." Jung Soo stood held her hand went out of the room. He went pass the dining area, the to the kitchen, he let go of his hand and walk to the adjacent room, she heard little barks and sniffs "He stays here when Omma feeds him. I thought of sending her to your house after today, but since you're here now, here take a look."
Sora's eyes widened. "He's mine?"
"Ne, you like it? You like small pets. The pet shop owner said it'll stay that small. Is it okay if you take care of him? There is no automatic feeder for him like Lee, Teuk, So & Ra, so if it doesn't burden you, then you can have him."
"You think Lee, Teuk, So & Ra won't get jealous? Does he have a name already?" Sora jokingly asked Jung Soo
"The brother fish are very understanding, since you can't hold them much. His name is Gomi. It's in his birth certificate."
"Gomi, hi, nice meeting you." as she sit down and talk to the dog. "Can I hold it?"
"Ne, Gomi-yah, you'll protect Sora-yah while I'm away, alright?" he said while opening the cage. "He's been vaccinated too. I bought some of his stuff, I'll give them to you later."
Sora, put her hand inside the cage, the poodle her hand.
"He's cute, but I think he's too fast. He's your hands already and you just met." said Jung Soo which made Sora laughed. She picked up the puppy and held it.
"Aigoo. Kyeopta. Thank you, I'll take care of him well." Sora all too happy for the gift.
"And he needs to protect you too, right Gomi-yah? Let's put him back first to his cage. You can have your time with him after today."
After putting Gomi back to his cage. He gave her all Gomi's clothes and toys in a box.
"Oppa.... You'll be alright in there, right?" fighting the sudden sadness that came creeping at her.
"Of course, I am. Don't worry about me. Don't say goodbye, coz we're still in the same sky? It's just that I'm on a different place. And I'll be back. Aigoo, we keep saying goodbye, aren't we?" Sora nodded in agreement.
"Maybe we should just drop the goodbye, instead let's see each other again." he suggested as he sit beside Sora on his bed.
"See you next time then." she paused then added, "You owe me a call when you're allowed to make one. And write back so I'll know when can I see you again." Sora looked away as she wiped a single tear that escaped.
"Hey, no crying. Come here." he pulled her into a tight hug. "I'll write back to you as soon as I can. Don't be too close to other guys, alright. And do well, take care of yourself and always remember you are pretty and great. Oppa will always support you, alright?"
"Ne, Oppa. I will do great, and I will work hard more to be a suitable girlfriend for a hallyu star like you."
"And I will work harder and be more manly to be a good husband for a beautiful and talented actress like you." then he kissed her on her nose, then look at her in the eyes then down to her lips. Took her lips with his to seal his promise for her.
