Dear Sora,

How is my baby princess? I’m hoping that you are well.   As it turned out, my fears on the military enlistment are unfounded.  Like a kid hating the school days but misses it once the kid started working.

 I read your letter that you inserted in my bag before I left.  Gomawo, baby princess. I know you already told me that you will wait for me.  But reading it here feels different somehow.  It gives me hope to look brighter for the coming morning. I miss you a lot. But your words are my cure. And I’m glad that you miss me too, forgive me if I do so, but for me it means I am important to you.  I know that you keep telling me that I am, but knowing that makes my heart at ease that I have a place in your heart that others don’t.

I am always awed by your wisdom.  It feels like I am learning more from you. I decided to make your letter into a poem.  When I get the chance I’ll try to put melody to it so it will become our song:

Time have been against us

Situation wasn’t even kinder

But we made it through that

And we hold on to each other

Those months of separation

Gave us insight on what may come

And now that were apart more than before

I feel you closer within my heart

Time will pass us by again

Not seeing each other

But I believe we will get through this

Just like we did before

Please look brightly for the morning

Coz morning signals a new day

A new day to look forward to

Means one day lesser to wait too

Your promise gives me strength

Your kiss gives me courage

Your words brighten my days

Your song fills my heart

Let the day come faster

When I can be beside you again

To feel your heartbeat

And listen to its melody

Maybe we can write more in the future and produce an album. I’ll be happily looking forward for that time then.  Please write to me often.  It encourages me more to look forward to another day.

Please stay healthy and do well. I believe in you. You are the prettiest out there and you will always be the best actress for me.  Let’s look forward together for our bright future.
