“That can’t be true.” You spoke out. Everyone looked towards you. “He’ll definitely get better.” You replied with a shaky voice. There was silence across the room. *That’s right. I’ve got to believe. More than anyone, I’m going to believe that he’ll get better.* Later on at recess, you were folding coloured pieces of paper; making something from an origami book you have. You looked up from your desk and your eyes circulated the room. *Somehow, when he’s not here, the classroom feels so big…it makes me lonely.* you thought to yourself. “Cho Hee” a sweet voice called out. You looked ahead of you and it was a couple of girls from your class. “Can I help you…fold 1,000 cranes?” she asked smiling at you. “O-Of course!” you stuttered, shocked that anyone wanted to actually help you. “Me too!” the girl behind her exclaimed. “Oh? You write something on the paper?” she questioned as she pulled out a chair and sat next to you. “Ah, I’m just thinking that maybe it’ll be twice as effective if I write messages on the paper like, ‘get well soon’ and things like that.” You smiled as you held up the pieces of paper you wrote on. “Also…it might help him kill some time after he’s regained consciousness.” You nodded your head.

A couple of boys walked into the room and had heard you. “Heh, that’s nice. Sounds interesting. I want to help, too.” A boy with a soccer ball called from across the room.  “Let me join too!” another person yelled out. “Me too!” other people chimed.
