“So what did you want to talk about mom?”

You walked over to you bed and sat down your mom sat down next to you.

“Sweetie what was that guy doing in here?”

“Nothing mom he just brought me home.”

“He didn’t take advantage of you did he?”

“Of course not mom! He isn’t like other guys he will ask before he does anything, and if I say no he will understand.”

“Sweetie I just want to protect you and make sure you’re ok.”

“Thanks mom but you don’t have to worry.”

“So...um....are you guys intimate with each other?”

“What?!?!?”

“I said are you guys intimate with each other“

“I know what you said but why would you think that?”

“Well he did just come out of nowhere and put his arm around you then he kissed you right in front of me like it was no big deal.”

“But mom it isn’t a big deal.”

“Sweetie it is a big deal when I don’t who he is or what he is capable of doing.”

“Mom how could you think that way about Kai?!?!?”

“Sweetie I’m just being a mother.”

“Yea an over protective mother!”

“I only act this way because I.....”

“Because you love me. I know I know I know.”

Kai was outside the door and he was listening to everything you and your mother were saying. He couldn’t believe that your mother was so protective and worried about you. But then again he never really had anyone to protect him or to worry about him.

“I hope you understand MiCha.”

“I do mom.”

“Ok. Well I got to go back to work soon so I love you and bye.”

“Bye love you too.”

Your mom opened the door to see Kai standing right there and it scared her just a little. You chuckled when she jumped.

“Bye Kai.”

“Byeee.”

He gave her one of those annoying people smiles because he knew that she didn’t like him.

“So how was it?”

“Do I really have to tell you? I am pretty sure that you were standing out there listening to our conversation.”

“You know me so well.”

He sat down beside you and pulled you into his lap.

“I love you MiCha.”

“I love you too...Kai.”

It was hard for you to tell him that you loved him because the last guy you remembered saying you loved them to was your ex-boyfriend Neil.

Kai noticed you were starting to cry and he wiped your tears.

“Did I say something wrong?”

“No....it’s just that the last guy I said I love you to was my ex.”

“Oh.”

“Yea.”

“Trust me MiCha I will never be like him.”

Kai kissed you softly.

“You mean the world to me MiCha. I will never hurt you the way he hurt you.”
