CHAPTER TWO: THE BOX AND THE CREATHURE INSIDE IT




Dara was inside a place filled with shelves with books on them. She was in the library. 
She worked part time there. And now she was standing in front of the head librarian. 
The librarian was an old woman and she was grumpy. Grumpy maybe because she was 
still single at her old age.



“A huge box containing books will be shipped to your house. I purposely asked the donor 
of the books to deliver the box to your house so that you could put the number catalogs
 on them already. I’ll give you a week to do the task. You understand?” the librarian 
snobbishly said.



Dara quickly nods in response, “Ne, sajangnim” 



The stern lady gave Dara a quick glare before turning on her heels and walked away.



Dara pouted at the old lady as she walked aw—*THUUUUUUD GRSSSHHH!!*

A loud roaring sound occurred which made Dara startled and awoke from her slumber. 
She sat up and discovered it was raining very hard outside and it was just the thunder 
which created that roar a while ago. She scratched her head as she yawned. Then she 
stretched a little, as she made some flexing her eyes ended up looking at the clock. She 
saw that it was already 10PM in the evening.



“OHMYGOD!” she shrieked as she remembered the box to be shipped to her house. She 
overslept and completely forgot about it. Aigoo she’s surely dead to her grumpy boss if 
ever she finds out.



She quickly got up from the couch and stumbled her way to the door of the house. She 
grabbed the door knob and swung the door open.



“KYAAAAAH!!!” she cried as she saw the box at her doorstep and it was a bit drenched by 
the rain. She quickly pushed the box inside her house.



“Aigoo, why’s this so heavy?” she complained as she pushed.



When it got in, she stood straight and wiped her forehead with the back of her hand. After 
which she propped her fists on her hips as she gawked at the box momentarily. Then seconds 
later she grabbed the flap of the box as she spoke,



“Aish, Is there a person inside you? Causing you to be too hea—AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!” she screamed 
when she opened the box.



“THERE’S REALLY A PERSON!!!! OHMYGAAHD!!! AND HE..HE’S..HE’S N-!” Her voice faded 
as it reached the latter part of her sentence. Dara’s eyes turned into huge platters upon realizing 
what she just said and her hands stormed up to cover . Due to some unexplainable reasons, 
her gaze went back in to the box, to the creature inside it to be exact and her gaze ran across from 
the creature’s hair, face, chest down to his stomach and upon realizing what was next she closed her 
eyes tightly and turned away. Her face flushed at that thought and to shrug it off she slapped herself.



She turned to look at the box again and she took a deep breath before she closed the box and 
attempted to push the box out of her house but then she remembered her books so she stopped.



‘Omo! The oh so dear books!!’



Just with that, the idea of the  man inside the box flushed down the drain and all that 
mattered to her was to get the books she needed. She quickly opened the box again and 
launched half her body inside it.



“Where are my books!? Where??!” she uttered repeatedly as she shoved the creature’s different body
 parts out of her way. She dug dipper when she couldn’t see any of her books and accidentally she
 lost her balance and almost crushed her whole self in but luckily she was able to regain control of 
herself. But then she didn’t completely escape trouble as her face faced to face with his…



‘Bulge!!!!’



Her face turned ultra red and her eyes were almost popping out of its sockets as she was just inches
 away from his private.



“Oh hi there…KYAA!!!…I-it’s h-his..b-bul—ahhhh!!” she stuttered.  She bolted up and pushed herself
 away from the box. When she got out of it, she was panting as she was sitting down on the floor 
with both her arms propped behind her and her hands rooted on the flat surface.



The picture of his thing flashed back in her mind. She shook her head to throw the dirty thought away.



‘Aigoo Dara-ah what are you thinking!! Forget about it! You saw nothing, arraso?’she mentally 
scolded herself.



‘B-but I saw some—‘ another voice in her head retorted.



“NO! YOU DIDN’T! JUST LOOK FOR THE FRIGGIN BOOKS INSTEAD OF THINKING ABOUT WHAT YOU 
SAID YOU SAW, YOU KNOW?!’



‘Ah ne!’



After her two consciousnesses ended up their mental fight, her head turned to the side and saw 
the left open door. Her stare got stuck there, no, not because of the left open door but because 
of what she saw outside. THE BOOKS WERE SCATTERED AT THE YARD, DRENCHED AND DIRTY!!!



Without any second thoughts, Dara frantically ran through the door and picked up all the soaked 
books. Less than a minute she had collected all of them in her arms. She stormed her way back 
inside her house and dropped the heavy materials on the floor.



“I am so going to die” she murmured as she looked at the wet and hopeless books then to the man 
inside the box. It was just then that she noticed he had a scratch on his forehead. She unconsciously 
walked back towards the box. When she got closer she saw he had some more wounds and scratches 
on almost every part of his body. Okay, that doesn’t include his thing alright? ert. /*snorts*/ 
He got some tight skin toned shorts to cover it so it didn’t get affected of whatever happened to him.


Dara carefully touched one of his wounds and he twitched a little upon feeling her touch so Dara 
quickly pulled her hand back. She took a deep sigh before she walked away to look for the first aid kit.



‘I’ll just deal with those stupid books tomorrow’ she spoke in her mind as she walked away. She 
chose to fix her business with this unknown man inside that box



Shortly, she was already applying ointment to his wounds and aiding him. She managed to pull him 
out of the box and made him lie on the couch. She tried her best not to look at ‘it’ in the process of 
transferring him from the box to the sofa and when she cured his scratches.



After attending to his wounds, she let him peacefully sleep in the couch and decided to let him 
stay for the night. A night wouldn’t be bad, she thought. Aside from that, it was raining hard, he 
got some wounds and he was...well yeah . The world out there’s dangerous we never know 
what could possibly happen to him.



She was crouched beside the sofa as she looked at his features. He had long lashes and they made 
him look gorgeous, his nose was small and pointy and he looked actually cute with his pink lips 
slightly pouting as he slept.  He was handsome…



Her forehead slightly creased. She shook her head lightly as she brushed the thought away.



‘Handsome but troublesome, yeah that’s it’



She stood up and got herself ready for bed. She switched off all the lights then went to her room. 
She changed her drenched clothes first before she tucked herself to bed and let out one tired sigh
upon closing her eyes. It was such an exhausting night and her body yelled for a good night sleep.
Few minutes later she already fell into a deep slumber.
