Chapter 6: Life in Gwangju

A month after that last live in Japan Yunho and Changmin went to Gwangju, Yunho’s hometown, to lay low for a while. Changmin was about 4 months now and spent most of his time shopping with Jae and Chun, who followed Changmin and Yunho to Gwangju to help. Honestly the time flew by faster then Changmin thought and before long he was bridging 5 months, but he was quite content. He was with Jaejoong with weekend, cause Yunho was filming a drama. He also had mandoongi since his parents were out of town visiting family, surprisingly Jaejoong’s cat JiJi wasn’t bothered by the small lap dog. Sunday Jaejoong took Changmin shopping for baby clothes, sadly they were caught because everyone knew there was only one pregnant Asian that would be in disguise, but really the fans didn’t mob to much, they just asked for an autograph and asked how he and the baby were, then let him and Jaejoong away. By the end of the night Changmin had 12 new outfits for his baby boy. Yep they’d found out the yesterday when Changmin had his sonogram and ultra sound, sadly Yunho would find out at bit late cause of his drama schedule. Once they got home Jaejoong made them both fruit smoothies and they sat out of the balcony of his apartment

“Thanks Jae hyung, Thanks for helping out with this, along with Chun Su and of course Yunho” Changmin mumbled staring out at the sunset

“your welcome Minnie, no matter what, we’ve always got you back and we love you” Jaejoong answered

“Jae” Changmin asked

“hmm..” Jaejoong replied

“will you be my baby boy’s godfather” Changmin asked

“m-me” Jaejoong squeaked surprised, Changmin nodded, Jaejoong smile eyes lighting up completely “yes Minnie, I’ll be his godfather” Jaejoong exclaimed hugging Changmin and for the first time Changmin felt the baby kick as did Jaejoong

“well I’m going to assume that he agreed with that” Changmin laughed still in awe, Jaejoong laughed and agreed and they went inside and headed to bed for the night, for tomorrow Yunho wouldn’t be picking Changmin up and they’d be going back to Gwangju. The next morning Changmin and Jaejoong were up at 8 making breakfast, Yunho came knocking at 8:30 and stayed for breakfast before he bid Jaejoong goodbye and he and Changmin headed back to Gwangju, the ride home Yunho asked Changmin how the doctors appointment went Changmin replied

“good, the doctor is sending the ultrasounds and I have a CD of the sonogram”

“ahh.. And did your ever find out the gender” Yunho asked

“mmm… yes” Changmin answered

“and..” Yunho prompted, Changmin smiled his famous gummy smile and answered

“it’s a baby boy” Yunho had to stop the car to keep from crashing

“a-a boy, we’re having a boy” Yunho stuttered

“yep” Changmin answered giggling, 20 seconds later Changmin was squished into a hug stomach pushed against the gear shift

“ow, ow, ow, Yun gearshift” Changmin yelped painfully

“omo, I’m sorry Minnie” Yunho apologized as Changmin rubbed his hand over his bulged stomach wincing several times

“its alright, we’re fine” Changmin answered feeling his baby kick in reply

“I’ve officially decided that because of such happy news, I’m talking you and my family out to dinner” Yunho said, Changmin laughed and agreed and the finished their drive to Gwangju. Once they got there they went straight to Yunho’s house and Yunho called

“mom, dad everyone, we’re going out for dinner Changmin told me some great news on the way home” with in minutes the 3 family members as well as 2 cousins that were visiting for the month appeared in the living room asking what was going on “Changmin will tell you after dinner” Yunho answered, they nodded. With that they all jumped into Yunho’s truck, the 2 cousins in the truck bed. They ended up at a Italian restaurant where they had pizza and Changmin had 2 servings of seafood Alfredo along with that after which Changmin addressed them with good news

“the good new that caused this sudden get together is, that me and Yunho are having a baby boy” Changmin said, they all when nuts

“I’m getting a grandson” Yunho father exclaimed

“yes dad, and you can spoil him all you want” Yunho answered, Changmin was hug attacked by Yunho’s sister, the 2 cousin didn’t seen to care to much but you could tell by the smiles on their faces that they were happy that their uncle was having a baby boy, Yunho’s mom attacked Changmin shortly after his sister. They were all happy and Changmin couldn’t wait to tell Kyuhyun and Minho. Once Yunho and Changmin got back they had a nice warm bath together, Yunho feeling the frequent kicks from the baby.
