Chapter 13: 6 months later

Its may and spring has sprung, flowers were blooming and there were birds everywhere. Yunho and Changmin were making their normal stop at the hospital for one of Bae’s regular check up, they were at the hospital every other weekend it seemed, Bae was getting better though and the married duo decided it was best that let the doctors do surgery on Bae so he wouldn’t have to go through his whole live, but that was to be done shortly after Bae’s 1rst birthday, he was 6 months now so hopefully 6 months from now Bae will be a healthy genius, snarky little boy. But for now they’re making do with what they have.

“hey Yun, after Bae’s appointment can we go out for a picnic” Changmin asked hands twined with his, his plaid shirt ed revealing a grey muscle shirt underneath his waist had slimmed right down since that day in court, he was a bit bigger now then before, but not by much, he was about the size he was in 2008

“yea sure Min, we can have a picnic at the lake by Jaejoong’s condo” Yunho answered, Changmin smiled and agreed. After Bae’s tests they took the baby boy back home and Yunho called Jaejoong asking him to cook some picnic food while Changmin changed Bae into a shorts Onezie and put some sunblock on him, then changed himself into swim shorts and a black muscle shirt cause despite it being the middle of spring it was really hot

“Minnie you and Bae ready” Yunho called from the kitchen

“nae yunnie, we’ll be right there” Changmin answered,

“good by the way since its so nice Jaejoong hyung is having a pool party so instead of the a picnic we’re going to have lunch at Jae’s, is that cool” Yunho answered adding “he’s invited all the SM singers” Yunho added, Changmin smiled, he hadn’t seen the others since the lawsuit

“yea that’s cool Yun, lets go” Changmin said wandering into the room with Bae in his arms, Yunho just stared, it looks so natural when Changmin had Bae, he looked honest a god gorgeous

“Minnie do you know how honest a god gorgeous you look when you have Bae” Yunho asked, Changmin blushed and smiled swatting at Yunho with his free hand

“stop flattering me lets go” he said, Yunho could tell Changmin took it as a complement cause his sounded happier. They drove to Jaejoong place and knocked

“We’re around back” Jaejoong called, the duo shrugged and headed back, the place was packed, you had most of the sone girls tanning by the pool, Changmin spotted Kyu hanging with Kai and Lu Han and from across the pool they were spotted by Kris who came over with Tao

“hey Changmin hyung, Yunho hyung” Yunho had got all of EXO to stop calling them Sunbae and just call them hyung

“hey Kris, how’s yours and Tao’s relationship going” Changmin asked, trust me when you have a hyungs like Jaejoong, Junsu and Eunhyuk news travels fast

“good, how’s Bae” Tao asked, he usually spoke Chinese with Changmin but since Yunho was there he had to resort to Korean

“he’s doing well, they inject him with heart medications, once every 2 weeks, that’s why we visit the hospital often” Changmin answered, Kris and Tao nodded

“here me and Tao will look after Bae, you go mingle” Kris said using English, Changmin smiled and agreed handing Bae to the tall Canadian leader of Exo-M

“thanks Kris, I’ll relieve you of babysitting in an hour cause I need to feed him” Changmin said, Kris nodded and pulled Tao away to the ledge of the pool, Changmin was making sure Bae was okay with Tao and Kris before wandering off to where Kyu, Taemin, Kai and Minho were hanging out near the edge of the pool, Yunho following behind, Changmin stripped his muscled shirt and jumped into the pool next to Kyuhyun, Kyuhyun laughed and swatted Changmin with water Changmin retaliated in time before they stopped and turned back to the conversation

“so what’s been going on since we’ve been gone” Changmin asked weighing back in Yunho’s arms letting his body float

“not much, Heechul returns from the army in December, Leetuek’s stuck in the army for the next year and Minho here asked Taem to marry him” Kyuhyun answered

“really congrates 2min” Yunho exclaimed behind Changmin. Changmin talked with them for about an hour before he wandered out of the pool and over to where Kris and Tao were now sitting on one of Jaejoong’s beach chair playing with him, Changmin could hear Bae giggling

“you know you 2 would make good parents” Changmin said in Chinese as he walked up

“you think” Tao asked, Changmin nodded

“here tell you what, seeing as your doing such a good job I’ll go make him a bottle and you guy can take turns feeding him, after you can go back to having fun I’ll stay with Bae” Changmin said, the Taoris couple lit up and nodded, Changmin laughed and disappeared into the house running into Jaejoong who was in the kitchen

“hey hyung you still have some of Bae’s bottles right” Changmin asked

“nae, you need to make him a bottle” Jaejoong asked

“yea, and I need to feel myself” Changmin answered, Jaejoong laughed

“you still eat as much as before” Jaejoong asked

“ani, its physically impossible to eat that much stuff now, it took me 6 months to get rid of Bae’s baby weight, now every time I eat anything more then usual my whole body slows” Changmin answered, Jaejoong nodded

“well shuffle around the table there see what you can find I’ll make Bae’s bottle” Jaejoong replied snatching one of the baby bottles out of the cupboard and Changmin retrieved the baby formula from his baby bag and leaned against the counter munching of veggies while waiting for the bottle, Yunho wandered in then, hugged Jaejoong and left a peck on his cheek, Changmin was used to it, back when they first debuted YunJae were a couple, it lasted for about a year before Jae fell for Chun and Yunho fell for him the 2 of them never dropped the cheek kissing habit

“Yun, is Taoris doing okay with Bae” Changmin asked

“yep, actually here they come right now” Yunho answered, and thus Kris followed by Tao walked into the back door

“heres Bae Hyung, me and Tao wanna go for a swim” Kris said, Changmin nodded and took Bae from Kris arms, Bae made a frumpy face and refused to let go of Kris’s necklace

“Bae you can hang out with Kris and Tao later, You have to let me spend time with you” Changmin said, Bae pout but let go. Changmin and Yunho stayed the night at Jaejoong’s condo, Yunho rushing home to get them and Bae a change of clothes and pajamas, while Jaejoong and Changmin were chatting it up in the living room Bae asleep in Changmin’s arms

“who’s of thought my baby maknae would make such a good Umma” Jaejoong laughed

“yea I never though so either” Changmin answered chuckling

“hey Jae have you and the others considered returning to SM now that SooMan is gone” Changmin asked

“briefly, I really dunno Min were doing very well where we are” Jaejoong answered, Changmin nodded, Bae coughed from against Changmin’s chest, Changmin tensed momentarily till his stopped and his breath calmed, putting his palm against Bae’s chest to make sure his heart was still beating

“Min calm down Bae’s fine, you just took him to the hospital today” Jaejoong soothed rubbing a hand down Changmin’s back

“I know but I always worry about him, I’m scared one day I’m gonna wake up and he’ll be dead, it exhausts me” Changmin answered falling sideways into Jaejoong’s lap clutching Bae closer, Jaejoong shh’d him and ran his fingers though the younger’s thick chestnut hair that was for the most part curly except at the back, Yunho came in then and instantly knew Changmin was having one of his moments

“Changmin stressing about Bae again” Yunho asked Jaejoong, Jaejoong nodded

“Minnie, give me Bae I’ll put him to bed and you can sort your thoughts” Yunho spoke trying to take Bae away only to have Changmin whimper in protest and clutched the baby boy tighter “alright fine Bae can sleep with us tonight” Yunho sighed, Changmin looked up and him eyes large and shining with tears, it took Yunho back to their debut, Changmin was scared missed his parents, Yunho sat down and hugged him telling him everything was going to be okay, he did exactly the same thing now

“awe Bambi babe, everything’ll be fine eh, Bae’ll be fine and we’ll be a happy family I promise” Yunho said softly

“B-Bambi, you haven’t called him that since 2008” Changmin said voice almost inaudible

“Minnie, you’ll always be my Bambi” Yunho said sweetly pulling Changmin to his feet, Changmin smiled weakly and let Yunho lead him out of the room “Night Jae” Yunho said.

A/N: this chapter is a bit long. But i figured you needed some stuff on Bae, and the fun time for HoMin. Plus i added Taoris which is Tao & Kris of EXO-M. &&& yes Kris is Canadian, so three cheers if your Canadian.
