Chapter 27: Changmin's losing his singing Passion?!?

Another 2 month pass, Changmin had finally started working out again the month before and was half way to his original weight. His Mangdoongi was still pregnant but evidently would most likely have her litter in the next week of so, the twins were 4 months old now and thankful let their parents actually sleep at night, Yunho and Changmin had started a new album and between taking care of Bae, Mangdoongi and the twins they never had time for each other and Yunho found Changmin very snappy lately. Like this morning for instance, when Yunho forgot his phone in his room Changmin snapped at him a proceeded to wander into the house and fetch it not even giving it to the older saying he’d lose it if he kept in on him, but also Yunho noticed it was harder for Changmin to do choreo though his vocal were the same, to Yunho Changmin seemed to be losing his passion for entertaining so he went to Kangta Yunho P.O.V Its been about a month since we started out latest album and 4 weeks since I started noticing Changmin disinterest in his performing. I’m currently at the SM building, Changmin asleep in bed, since its out day off, the only reason I’m at the SM building is cause I wanted to talk to Kangta hyung, waiting outside of his office, the door opened suddenly and Kangta walked out

“Yunho-ah, haven’t seen you in a while” Kangta exclaimed

“hey hyung, I wanted to see you to talk about something” I answered

“okay well come on in” Kangta answered, inside his office as usual Sunny was sitting

“hi Yunho-oppa” she said when I walked in

“hi Sunny” I answered sitting down

“what is it you wanted to talk to me about” Kangta asked

“oh right, Umm…. Do you think we can postpone the album release, I’ve noticed in the last 4 weeks Changmin’s been loosing his passion for this, for entertaining, for singing, and I wanna see if I can find out why” I explained thoughtfully

“ahh, so I’m not the only one noticing Changmin lack of interest toward his singing” Kangta exclaimed

“how are you going to find out why he’s acting like this” Sunny asked

“I was thinking of taking him on vacation to Jeju, just relax for a while, maybe ask Chun, Su and Jae” I answered

“yea I think Changmin could use a break from life” Kangta agreed

“so you will postpone the album release” I asked

“course, I don’t think we wanna loose the most precious voice we have” Kangta answered,

“great, we’ll be back in a month” Yunho exclaimed

“have fun, oh and if you need someone to watch Bae and the twins the girls will gladly do so” Sunny exclaimed

“great I’ll tell Changmin that” I answered and headed out jumping in my car and heading home. Upon entering the house I heard crying 2 kinds baby’s crying and Changmin’s crying, wait Changmin’s crying, why was Changmin crying, he never cried, not only that but Taepoong was at my feet whimpering and pawing at my leg he kept looking to the couch, the couch why the couch. Wait oh Mangdoong I followed Taepoong and found I was indeed right Mangdoongi was currently sitting there with 2 puppies already sitting at her stomach and she was panting. Somewhere in the house I could still hear Changmin crying, oh now I’m stuck between helping Mangdoong and Taepoong of comforting Changmin, Taepoong looked up at me sensing my confusion

“Poong, can you take care of Mang on your own for 5 minutes” I asked, he barked and curled next to Mangdoongi nosing the puppies at Mangdoongi side. Okay now to Changmin, I followed the sound of his sobs and found him curled in a ball on a bathtub full of water

“Bambi, what’s wrong” I asked

“Yunnie” Changmin exclaimed started

“yea, Minnie what’s wrong” I answered

“I dunno, everything’s so frustrating, I’m loosing my passion” Changmin answered “and I don’t want to” he sobbed

“okay, okay, we’ll talk about this later just calm down we have more pressing matter” I answered, Changmin looked at me confused “your dog is currently in the living room having puppies” I supplied as an answered, Changmin eyes widened and he leaped up almost falling but I caught him, he got out and I drained the water from the tub by the time I turned around Changmin was standing there in sweats and an oversized tee, Holy he changed fast. I led him to the living room where Taepoong was still laying with Mangdoong another puppy added to the 2 that were there before and another one coming out Changmin sat at Mangdoong’s head her fur, her head twisted to his palm

“yea Mang I’m here” Changmin said, I carefully wandered and sat myself at Mangdoongs rear. And hour later there were 6 pups curled in balls asleep at Mangdoong’s side “Yun, we need to figure out which are male and which are female, we’ll name them later” Changmin exclaimed, I nodded, and reached forward only to have Taepoong bark

“okay, you’ll have to check I can’t touch them apparently” I answered, Mangdoong sleepily moved and looked at Changmin

“hey girl, go back to sleep, Poong’s just being protective” Changmin said scratching the top of her head, she yipped softly and nuzzled at one of the puppies at her side, Changmin know she was giving him permission touch her pups “thanks girl” Changmin said softly and carefully picked up each of the puppies and checked 4 were male and 2 were female, luckily Changmin had blue and pink ribbon to tie around puppies necks, at the moment the puppies looked like the had Mangdoong’s genes but we weren’t sure. Once Changmin finished tying the last ribbon around the 6th puppies neck I helped him to his feet and led him away from the living room to let Mangdoong sleep, I closed the bedroom door and sat next to Changmin on the bed

“now Minnie, why is it your loosing your passion, you told the interviewer for the dazed and confused Korea magazine that you wouldn’t have it any other way” I asked, Changmin sighed and pulled off his top

“I think this is why” he answered gesturing to his upper body, carrying Bae and the twins did ruin Changmin’s body, despite having lost half of the weight he was before he’d never again have those perfect washboard abs, and his waist was littered with stretch marks and the scar on Changmin upper waist had deepened ever so slightly

“oh Changminnie, your perfect the way you are and anyone would tell you that” I answered

“oh there are some people that would disagree with that” Changmin answered voice cold, Yunho thought for a second then he realized

“aish Minnie, Anti’s are a load of , they don’t know there asses from a hole in the ground, I thought you were more confident then that, you are the almighty Shim Changmin are you not” I asked

“The almighty Shim Changmin left after Bae was born” Changmin answered

“I don’t recall that, seeing as you were the one who was excited about a shirtless picture of you self scars stretch mark and all from the elle mag shoot after Bae’s heart surgery” I exclaimed

“Yun I honestly don’t know anymore okay, I can’t do it anymore, I don’t have the patients, nor does my body” Changmin answered

“what do you mean nor does my body” I asked

“are you really that oblivious, I’ve been popping painkillers regularly since we started rehearsing again” Changmin answered

“you mean even with that knee surgery you had wasn’t enough” I asked, Changmin shook his head and pulled up with sweat pants and revealed his knee’s which were quite swollen, Changmin’s shoulders started shaking again and I knew he was crying, I scooped him into my arms and shushed him rubbing my arms softly up and down his back, he slowly calmed and Yunho decided to tell Changmin of his plans to give them a break and that they could bring Chun Su and Jae “Minnie, I talked to Kangta today” I started

“hmm.. wae” Changmin asked

“because I notices your downward spiral so I figured out could use a break” I answered

“a break?” Changmin answered confused

“nae, we’re going to Jeju, you we can even bring Jae, Chun and Su” I answered

“what about Mang and the puppies” Changmin asked

“I guess they can come, I know how much you wanna make sure Mangdoongi’s okay” I answered

“okay, when are we leaving” Changmin asked

“tomorrow, if that’s okay” I answered

“that’s fine, but what about Bae and the twins” Changmin asked

“oh Sunny said the Sone girls would watch them” I replied

“oh okay, lets go then” Changmin answered

“do you want me to call Jae Chun and Su” I asked, Changmin nodded. That night Changmin slept like a baby happy he was getting a break but still confused on where he was with his emotions, he wasn’t sure if he wanted to continue his singing career, or just stop he’s so tired and he’s bodies disintegrated to a horrible state, he was beginning to wander if he should start taking calcium pills again.
