Chapter 4: Life’s full of surprises

The day after HoMin’s wedding, Jaejoong went pick Changmin and Yunho up from their apartment, and yes despite their break up 2 years ago JYJ and HoMin are still very close. Jaejoong slipped into the elevator and up to the duo’s apartment knocking on the door. I could hear nothing but the sound of violent throwing up, I knew it was Changmin, I entered the code Changmin gave me yesterday and slipped in

“Yun??, Min??” I heard a grunted answer from the bathroom, nothing else, clearly Yunho can’t hear Changmin, I quickly ran to the washroom attached to their bedroom and found Changmin laying on the floor

“Minnie, Jesus how long have you been in here” Jaejoong asked

“5 minutes, I feel like ” Changmin answered, Pulling his head back over the toilet and hurling again. Jaejoong rubbed his back softly he throw up 2 more times

“you okay now Minnie” Jaejoong asked

“yea, go wake Yunho, I called my doctor last night he’s only open space was this morning at 9, which is in 20 minutes” Changmin answered, Jaejoong nodded but was hesitant to leave

“I’m fine, I’ll call you if I need you” Changmin reassured, Jaejoong finally got up and wandered into the bedroom again hearing the shower turn on

“Yunho, get up” Jaejoong said shoving Yunho a little, he didn’t budge he tried getting him up 20 times didn’t work, wow he’s changed since they were 5, he always used to be the first one up, Jaejoong walked back to the bathroom door and knock once before opening, Changmin left it unlocked

“Minnie I can’t get him up” he said, Changmin head peak out from behind the shower Curtin

“he’s been like that lately, gimme the cup on the bathroom counter”, Jaejoong nodded and handed it to him, he heard what sounded like Changmin filling it then his hand poked out of the shower again

“there throw that in his face, cold water doesn’t work I’ve tried he’s used to it cause he takes cold showers” Changmin explained, Jaejoong nodded

“thanks Minnie, you almost done” Jaejoong asked

“yea, tell Yunho he doesn’t have time to take a shower we need to move as soon as I’m done” Changmin answered, Jaejoong made a sound of understanding and left closing the door carefully and turned to Yunho who was still asleep, he walked to the edge if the bed and tossed the cup off hot water in his face, Yunho jolted and looked at Jaejoong

“Jae, what are you doing here” Yunho asked

“getting you out of bed, Changmin’s going to the doctors today to find out what’s up” Jaejoong answered, Yunho nodded and got out of bed “also Changmin said there’s not enough time to shower, we’re going as soon as he gets out of the shower” Jaejoong added. Yunho nodded and got dressed. Changmin came out of the shower 5 minutes later in a slightly baggy t-shirt and light blue skinny jeans

“you ready to go Minnie” Jaejoong asked

“nae” Changmin answered, but Jaejoong could see the nervousness in Changmin’s eyes, he walked over and took Changmin’s hand squeezing it, Changmin looked at him thankfully and the 3 headed to Jaejoong’s car jumped in and headed to the doctors office. They arrived just on time and the 3 of them were led to a room. The doctor appeared 2 minutes later

“Changmin-shii, good to see you, and look you brought Yunho and Jaejoong too” the doctor said

“yea” Changmin answered

“alright so we’re gonna get some tests and then well you know what” the doctor explained

“Jaejoong knows, Yunho doesn’t” Changmin said lowly as Yunho disappear out the door to get a cup of water

 “well, I’ll grab the ultra sound machine now while he’s getting a drink” the doctor replied disappeared coming back moments later with the ultra sound machine “I-I want to tell Yunho first before we start the testing” Changmin said softly, the doctor and Jaejoong nodded and when Jaejoong came back in, Changmin took a deep breath

Changmin’s P.O.V.

When Yun walked back in looked thoroughly confused I took a breath and spoke

“Yun, you remember how we had with out a on my birthday” I asked, Yunho nodded “well I think I’m pregnant which is why where here” I finished, Yunho’s jaw dropped

“y-your pregnant” Yunho stuttered

“most likely” Jaejoong answered

“but were going to find that out right know, are you ready Changmin-shii” the doctor asked, Changmin nodded and let Jaejoong help him lay back, the doctor revealed the ultra sound machine that was hidden behind him and brought it closer, Changmin stiffened and Jaejoong reacted rubbing at hand over Changmin’s stomach, surprised at how hard it was compared to before and it made him gasp, Changmin grasped the hand on his stomach and moved it up to his chest holding his free hand out to Yunho who quickly grabbed it. The doctor squeezed gel on his stomach making him jerk at its coldness, the doctor the machine and slid the scan roller over Changmin flat stomach and up appeared a heart beat and a slightly grey shaped thing in Changmin’s stomach

“well You and Jaejoong-shii were right, you are just about 2 months pregnant” the doctor stated, Changmin gasped and started crying, Yunho was shell shocked and Jaejoong was trying to calm a hysterical Changmin, Changmin calmed after 2 minutes

“you okay now Minnie” Jaejoong asked, Changmin nodded hands on his stomach, the doctor had since left making sure that Jaejoong knew to go to the lab to get blood and urine samples for testing

“good cause we need to fix Yunho” Jaejoong said chuckling, Changmin laughed too getting up and standing in front of Yunho

“hey Yun, Yunnie, Yunnie-yah” Changmin said trying to get Yunho’s attention, Yunho looked at him, eyes glossy, Yunho was this close to crying and Changmin hadn’t seen this since just after they broke up, when Yunho blamed himself for their break up

“Minnie, you have no clue how happy I am right now” Yunho said “but what about the rest of the tour, we still have a month left” he added

“I heard Jaejoong talking to the doctor through my 4 minute emotional breakdown, I should be fine until 3 and a half months” Changmin answered

“oh, I should mention this before you all go ape 2 months from now, cause I know Changmin didn‘t hear this part” Jaejoong started, Yunho and Changmin looked a him “since males bodies aren’t really made for this, you’ll start getting stomach cramps and abdominal pain from your body stretching to accommodate the being growing inside you” Jaejoong finished

“okay so then I’m not supposed to freak when I start getting abdominal pains” Changmin asked

“no, its normal, it’ll be mostly stomach cramps though” Jaejoong answered. Yunho and Changmin nodded

“lets go, we gotta get your lab work done Minnie then we gotta stop at the pharmacy to get you some multi-vitamins” Jaejoong exclaimed, Yunho and Changmin nodded and off they went. Changmin remember the reason why he didn’t like doctor appointments and Jaejoong and Yunho had to deal with a flailing Changmin. But in the end Changmin and Yunho went home happily, ready for the next day, which would be full of practicing and resting, well for Changmin to get ready for their next performance.
