Chapter 22: Ultrasound and more tears

The following morning everyone was up by 6:30, Jae and Chun left busy with drama schedules, Junsu woke Changmin up and handed him breakfast which Jaejoong made him and Bae bounced into the room after Changmin finished. Junsu helped Changmin up and they 3 of them headed to the car, Bae no longer sat in a carseat he sat in the back of Junsu car, Changmin ended up in the front, usually Changmin would have Dr. Kim come to him and Yunho’s house but after that incident yesterday he got Jae to schedule it at the hospital. Junsu and Changmin chattered the whole ride there, it was very rear they got time together like this since the spilt and they used to be the closest, minus Changmin’s teasing, which Junsu has learned he doesn’t do as much anymore

“Min do you want me to run and get a wheel chair and bring it back” Junsu asked after he parked

“yea hyung, I don’t think either of us can handle getting to the doors from this far back in the hospital parking lot” Changmin answered, Junsu nodded at disappeared reappearing 5 minutes later with a wheel chair, he opened the passengers door and helped Changmin out letting the younger ease himself down with a grunt

“come Bae” Junsu said, Bae nodded and climbed out as the 3 made there was to the front, where a nurse lead them to a room, Changmin swore he spotted Yun, but just dismissed it and stumbled up on the examination table while Junsu closed the door, Bae plopped himself down on a chair in the corner, Dr. Kim appeared 10 minutes later

“ah Changmin-shii, how are you, I heard you were having problems with Yunho-shii” Changmin nodded sadly

“he’s at our house at the moment, until Yun comes to his senses” Junsu exclaimed rubbing a calming hand down Changmin’s back, Changmin was still frustrated about the pointless argument they’d had

“oh, okay, and look Bae here too” Dr. Kim explained

“nae, Hi Dr. Kim” Bae answered shyly

“well shall we get this over with so you can get back to bed” Dr. Kim exclaimed, they all nodded, usually Changmin would argue but he was really tired and emotionally stressed and really just wanted to shove his face in a pillow and cry, Dr. Kim nodded and rolled the ultrasound machine closer, Changmin hesitantly lifted him over sized tee and Dr. Kim squirted gel on it, Changmin squeaked at the coldness, and Junsu let out his famous laugh easing the tension in the room, even Changmin chuckled, the machine was and the roller rolled over the large expanse of Changmin’s stomach

“well they both seem happy and healthy, you wanted to know what they were didn’t you” Dr. Kim asked, Changmin nodded

“I figure they’re girl” he mumbled

“well lets go see” Dr. Kim replied, he rolled the scanner around till he found one

“well ones a girl, lets see if the others a girl” Dr. Kim exclaimed, the roller moved to the other side and stopped Dr. Kim laughed “well Changmin-shii you were right their both girls” he said

“hey I wanna see” Bae voice came from the corner

“then get over here silly boy” Changmin laughed happily, Bae bounced over and Dr. Kim explained everything to him

“Dr. Kim, Jae and Chun are worried about Changmin’s leg joints do you have enough time to check those out” Junsu asked eventually

“yea I don’t have another appointment will 9:30” Dr. Kim answered, Changmin wheel by Dr. Kim to the x-ray and they x-rayed he’s ankles and knees and for safety reasoning’s his hips then he was brought back to the room, where he found Yunho talking with Junsu, he bit his lip but pushed himself in, they were alerted to his presence when the door closed

“hey Minnie, is Dr. Kim on his way” Junsu asked, Changmin nodded, he was virtually mute right now, he personally wasn’t ready to deal with Yunho right now

“Changmin” Yunho said lowly, Changmin flinched

“Hmm…” he managed

“I wanted to tell you I’m sorry but I’m still mad, I mean how could you be so stupid, I also wanted to see what the doctor said about your joints, Jaejoong texted me” Yunho answered, Changmin sighed and blinked away the tears in his eyes face going frumpy, he misses his Yunho and so do the twins, Dr. Kim came in at that moment with a brown envelope, he was started to see Yunho standing there

“wah, Yunho-shii did expect to see you here” he exclaimed

“I heard you were check Changmin’s joints, I wanted to see how they were” Yunho answered

“oh well then I have good news and bad news, sadly I have to tell you the bad new before the good news” Dr. Kim exclaimed, Yunho frown, Junsu slung his arms over Changmin’s shoulder and squeezed, this could make or break HoMin’s relationship and Junsu knew it

“the bad new is there is some damage to Changmin’s leg joints, mainly to the nerve which are pinch in several places” Dr. Kim explained, Changmin saw anger and frustration flash over Yunho’s feature and he in the inside of his cheek to keep from crying “the good new is if we can fix it now Changmin has a chance of continuing his career as an entertainer, which I know you love your job Changmin-shii” Dr. Kim finished, well Changmin was slightly relieved it could be fixed but it still wouldn’t help what he was in store for when he got finished here

“but doesn’t that mean I’ll be stuck here duration of what’s left of my pregnancy” Changmin asked

“yea that’s right, but if you don’t do this now the nerve will stay pinched and cause you to much pain to even walk from the living room to the kitchen, and your entertaining career will be over” Dr. Kim answered quite bluntly

“okay, then set a date” Changmin sighed, Dr. Kim nodded

“I’ll be back” he answered, the moment he was out Yunho rounded him

“see I told you, now your ed Shim Changmin, you’ll be stuck in a hospital bed for 4 months, you stubborn spoiled ” Yunho said harshly, Changmin didn’t like it when Yunho was mad at him, he finally spoke though, only because on the way to the hospital Junsu had spoken if a valid point that Yunho failed to notice about Changmin

“I’m sorry okay Yunho, I’m human I make mistakes, but you forgot one thing about me, I am a very, very active and outdoorsy person I work out pretty much everyday, that includes in a gym and jogging, and what ever chance I get I’ll always play soccer with Junsu hyung, hell there are days even in the middle of winter when I go out just because I want to enjoy the sharp crisp air, so its not my bloody fault that my bodies used to always being on the move and not stationary sitting in a flippin bed” he said voice shaking tears streaming down his cheeks wasn’t long before he was down right sobbing, Yunho stood there mouth opening and closing as if he was trying to say something

“Just get out Yunho, you come back to say sorry only to flip at him again over the same thing, you know how sensitive he is” Junsu said straightly

“B-But” Yunho started

“no just go, come back when you’ve realized what Changmin’s just said” Junsu answered, Yunho huffed and stomped out leaving Junsu alone to calm Changmin Bae sitting confused in the corner wondering where his Umma and Appa went cause these obviously weren’t, well Umma was but Appa wasn’t. Dr. Kim came back but left the moment he noticed Changmin crying, he placed the operation date on the desk and left, Junsu spotted him and smiled ‘thanks’ he mouthed Dr. Kim nodded and slipped the rest of the way out the door

“Su why do I feel like such a up right now” Changmin asked weakly a few minutes later

“Minnie-ah, your not a up, I told you before you’re an active outdoorsy person, Yunho must have just forgot cause you’ve been either pregnant or busy” Junsu answered, Changmin nodded and Junsu handed him some tissues also snatching on up card with Changmin’s operation date on it “come on lets go, we can stop at the ramen shop on the corner and I’ll go get us some ramen” Junsu exclaimed

“o-okay, but I’ll be need more then just one ramen” Changmin answered

“but of course you have to feed 3 stomachs” Junsu answered, Changmin smiled and let Junsu wheel him out the next time he comes he’ll be stuck here for 4 months. Meanwhile Yunho was walking to his car, he slowly began realizing, he’s ed up big time and Junsu was right and most importantly Changmin was right, how could he forget that side of Changmin, he was very active and outdoorsy therefore he didn’t like stay inside for longer then 3 hours, cause of that side of Changmin Yunho always worried, scared he’d get hurt of sick. He got in his car and slammed his fists on the steering wheel cursing. He needed to fix this A.S.A.P..
