Chapter 6: Changmin finds a new man

Deneeka’s P.O.V.

School continues, I worry about Changmin every day, being his building is on the opposite side of the campus, but at least his morning sickness decreased. He’s told me that in order to avoid the shoves and stares, he waits till the halls are empty, and shoved his ear buds when the comments started, blasting he I-pod mid hight to drown them out, at least he trying to be safe. The bell rings snapping me out of my thoughts, ‘nearly lunch, gotta text Min see what he’s craving today’ I thought pulling my cell out

{hey Min, I’m finished class, what do you want to lunch} I wrote and hit send placing her phone back in her pocket and gathered her books. Her phone buzzed just as she exited the building

{nothing, the teacher gave me permission to leave early, so I’ll be joining you today, stay were you are} was Changmin’s reply, I did and Changmin appeared 20 minutes later with another man about the same height as him, she’d seen him in her art class earlier that day

“hey Neeka” Changmin said hugging her and kissing her forehead

“hey how are you feeling today” I asked

“pretty normal, I was a little nauseous this morning but thankfully it passed” Changmin answered. A hand reached out and rubbed Changmin’s back “Yun” Changmin smiled, I cleared my throat and Changmin jumped “Aish forgot you were there. Anyway Yunho meet Deneeka, Deneeka meet Yunho” he said “pleasure to meet you Yunho, you must be new” Deneeka said shaking his hand

“the pleasure is mine, yeah I’m new, started 2 weeks ago” Yunho replied

“so Neeka do you mind if Yunho joins us for lunch” Changmin asked

“no not at all where did you wanna go Min” Deneeka answered as they started toward her car

“Dairy Queen” Changmin answered with out skipping a beat, before whispering “I’ve been craving onion rings with vinegar dipped in soft serve ice cream” I laughed ruffling his hair and whispering back

“I’m assuming he doesn’t know about your little friend” subtly touching his stomach Changmin shook his head “are you going to tell him” I asked, Changmin nodded, by then we had arrived at my car, we hopped in and headed off, while we were driving my cell buzzed, I waited for a stop light before quickly opening it, it was my Changmin reminder, he’s gotta take his vitamins for the afternoon, so I send him a quick and short message

{vitamins, purse, take them now, use my water bottle if needed} before turning back to the road watching out of the corner of my eye as Changmin pulled 2 vitamins out of a bottle in my purse swallowed them dry only using my water when they didn’t go down all the way, coughing a bit after

“Min you okay” I asked

“yea, remind me not to swallow pills with out water” Changmin answered hoarsely, I smirk nodding my head. After a lovely lunch Deneeka took drove them back to campus dropping Changmin and Yunho off at their building before parking and heading off to start her shift working at the campus library. After work she picked up Changmin, who stayed late in the study rooms. Once they got home I asked

“when did you meet Yunho”

“the first day he came here, he’s majoring in post modern music he’s in my class he‘s also majoring in business” Changmin replied curling up under the covers “do you like, like him” I asked Changmin nodded “are you sure your not making the same mistake again” I asked again

“I’m sure” Changmin answered straightly

“good boy, I told you if you look you’d find someone, now when are you going to tell him about Jaejoong and the fact your pregnant” I questioned

“I’m not sure, I want to tell him as soon as possible, but I’m scared he won’t believe me, I was thinking of waiting till the next ultrasound so I have some form of physical proof” Changmin replied

“hmm.. Well you have your 2nd ultra sound tomorrow and your last official day is also tomorrow, so I guess could work, unless you wanna wait a week,” I answered, Changmin nodded getting up from under the covers to grab a snack, which happened to be cookie dough, the one thing the both of them loved to eat, he was wearing sweats and once again no shirt I said nothing, watching as Changmin walked passed a mirror and stopped turning to stare at his reflection, turning in all directions to get at good angle

“you know what Neeka, I think I’ve changed my mind, I’m going to tell Yunho tomorrow” Changmin said straightly still staring at his reflection in the mirror, I walking up behind him wrapping my arms around his waist, settling my hands on his hardened stomach

“well you are seemingly larger then a normal person at 3 and ½ months, but that’s probably cause men’s bodies aren’t made for stuff like this, so with this and the ultra sound you should have enough proof” I explained, Changmin brought his hands down on top of mine

“hey Neeka do you think Yunho will believe me or think I’m a freak like everyone else” Changmin asked me, there was something in his voice that told me he didn’t want to loose Yunho

“I don’t know Minnie, I don’t know” I answered rubbing my hands up and down his sides and asking

“are you going to bring him to dorm after school of are you going to do it at lunch” Changmin shrugged, struggling to answer as tears welled in his eyes and he started to tremble, I sighed pulling him to the bed, sitting him down wiping away the tears that had rolled down his cheeks and kneeled in front of him

“Minnie look at me, Yunho will understand and your going to keep telling that to yourself till tomorrow, now tell me what you wanna do” I said straightly

“o-okay, I want to do it after school here so I have protection, protection from wandering ears and eyes” Changmin answered voice soft and cracky

“good boy, now get back under those covers and lets eat some cookie dough” I said softly, pulling the covers over his body and went around to slide in next to him. We ate cookie dough and talk till about midnight then stayed with him till he drifted off hands splayed over his stomach, I could see stretch marks forming on the sides of Changmin’s waist line and she know they’d bother Changmin later.
