Chapter 21: Can it happen again/ it’s the miracle of life

Yunho and Changmin arrived home at 10 that night and Changmin who was suffering from mild jetlag went straight to bed. Yunho stayed awake longer grabbing a snack and watching some T.V. with Deneeka before coming into their room to surf the net and check his e-mail, then settling himself down next to Changmin who instantly curled himself around Yunho and mumbled something incoherent. The next morning Changmin’s cell alarm went off at 10am, Changmin groaned ignoring it before remembering he had a doctors appointment today and reluctantly drug himself out of bed, being careful not to disturb Yunho. He got dressed and wandered into the kitchen where he found Deneeka on her laptop eating toast and drinking what look like a matcha green tea smoothie from star bucks

“hey neeka, how long have you been up” Changmin asked dropping 2 pieces of bread in the toaster

“since 8, I went for a jog, stopped at star bucks, there’s a Carmel latte for you, I put it in the microwave to keep it from going cold” Deneeka answered

“gee thanks, anyway I have to leave in like 5 minutes, could you tell Yunho I’m at the doctors” Changmin asked

“hmm… yea, going for a check up” Deneeka asked Changmin nodded

“I’m going to ask if its possible for me to get pregnant again” he said

“ah so you did think about Mi Cha question” Deneeka exclaimed

“yeah, I thought about it the rest of that day and I was thinking I don’t see why I can’t, so I’m hoping its possible, having Mi Cha really opened my eyes” Changmin answered thoughtfully

“yea see told ya, it’s a miracle of life and in your case it really is” Deneeka said with a smirk

“you wouldn’t know what its like” Changmin stated, Deneeka rolled her eyes, this was going to shock him

“what if I told you I did, cause I am pregnant” Deneeka answered. Changmin choked on his Carmel latte

“a-are you serious” Changmin almost shrieked, Deneeka nodded pulling a brown envelope from her shoulder bag handing it to Changmin, Changmin opened it pulling out 4 ultrasound sheets “is this why you had a doctors appointment yesterday” Changmin asked, Deneeka nodded

“okay then, your explaining this more when I get back” he exclaimed grabbing his leather jacket and motor cycle helmet before disappearing out the door. The next thing Deneeka heard was the revving of Changmin’s silver Suzuki motorcycle before hearing it shoot off into the distance.

Changmin P.O.V.

walking out of the house after what Deneeka said left me confused and suspicious, but my questions would have to wait. I slipped my helmet over my head and climbed into my Silver motorcycle, starting it up, revving it a couple times before shooting down the street in the direction of our local clinic to which mine and Mi Cha’s family doctor was, arriving with 2 minutes to spare. After he successfully checked my health deeming me healthy I asked him my question, he replied

“in some cases its possible, our knowledge on this topic is base purely on the cases themselves that’s how rare this is. We’ll check your urine and blood samples and let you know, till then I can’t really answered your question” I nodded disappointed with the answer I got. I thanked him before heading out stopping at a ramen cart for lunch buying one for Neeka and one for Yunho. I got home 20 minutes later to find Mi Cha and Yunho playing in the front yard Deneeka resting under a tree sketch book in hand

“umma” Mi Cha screeched running at me, I pulled off my helmet placing it on the back of the bike and hugged her picking her up and spinning her around

“hey Minnie how’d the appointment go, what did the doctor say” Yunho asked kissing me chastely on the lips

“fine I’m as healthy as can be, but he did say he’s not sure about me possible getting pregnant again, his answer disappointed me” I answered leaning my head against his shoulder, Yunho nodded kissing the top if my head and squeezing my waist, then I remembered “oh yeah, speaking of pregnancy, You Have Some Explaining to do Deneeka” I said sternly, Yunho looked at me confused, its obvious she hadn’t told Yunho yet “Inside Now. And you’d better not leave anything out Arresso” I said straightly, Deneeka rose from her spot disappearing into the house, I followed with Mi Cha, Yunho following behind me still thoroughly confused. The moment I stepped in the house I pretty much exploded “shoot, now and if you tell me Taemin you I swear to God, Buddha and all the other gods in the world I’ll kill him” I shoot harshly

“no Minnie, Taemin didn’t me, I went willingly, we even your protection and everything, the must have been broken and we didn’t see it” Deneeka answered un-phased by my apparent anger, her answer did mull me some

“wait, wait Deneeka’s pregnant” Yunho said suddenly, I just rolled my eyes

“how long have you been pregnant” I asked completely ignoring Yunho

“2 months, I didn’t start getting morning sickness till this month, I took a test the day after you guys left” Deneeka answered

“does Taemin know” I questioned

“no, I was planning to tell him tonight after our date” Deneeka replied, I nodded and hesitantly kissed her forehead

“I’m sorry I blew up, I was just protecting you, I didn’t want you hurt like me” I said guiltily

“I know Changmin, I know” Deneeka answered

“take good care of yourself don’t stress out to much” I whispered pulling away and disappearing silently into the adjoining hallway toward our room leaving Yunho confused

“Yun leave him, he need alone time, time to think” I heard Deneeka say as I closed the bedroom door.
