Chapter 13: Going home

A week goes by, Changmin is released from the hospital with Mi Cha intact. The first thing they do is get food cause all 3 of them were hungry, Changmin especially cause he didn’t eat breakfast. Following that they stopped at a hair salon to cut Changmin’s hair then they headed the mall, shopping till Changmin was in pain again leaning heavily against Yunho’s side

“shop all you want Deneeka, I know the mall part of this was a bad idea, I’m gonna take poor Changmin home” Yunho said disappointedly as they sat on a bench, Changmin looked tired and in a whole lot of pain

“okay, but I can keep Mi Cha right” Deneeka asked

“yea, yea, you’re the one with the milk anyway” Changmin grumbled feeling a little useless, Deneeka smiled kissing Changmin’s forehead

“come on babe, lets go home so you can rest” Yunho whispered against Changmin’s ear, Changmin went with little resistances only wincing when the stitches from his incision pulled, he needs pain killers which they still need to get the prescription for.

“Yun can we stop at the drug store on the way, I still need to fill that one month prescription for pain killers” Changmin asked when they got in the car “hmmm… yeah sure” Yunho answered, the whole ride to the drug store Changmin stared silently out the window expression blank, Yunho noticed the change in Changmin but thought he’d ask when they actually got home. “kay Minnie are you going to stay in the car or come in with me” Yunho asked when he parked the car

“no, I’ll stay here” Changmin replied resting his head against the headrest, Yunho nodded and headed in coming back 5 minutes later to find Changmin asleep hands rested exactly where his incision is, Yunho sighs carefully pulling Changmin’s hands away from his stitches and resting them in this lap kissing his left temple before putting the key in the ignition and pulling away, pain killers resting in the cubby behind his gear shift. Once they got home Yunho gently touched Changmin’s shoulder

“Minnie come on were home” Yunho whispered

“hmmm… oh” Changmin mumbled letting Yunho help him out and up the stair cause the elevator was broken, Changmin started groaning about half way up “ I’m so tired of this, I know its only been a week, but I’m seriously done, I want this to end, I want the pain to go away” Changmin said frustration lacing his tone, Yunho could think of nothing but to hug him before bracing his arms one under the crook of Changmin’s legs the other bracing against his back and lifted him before continuing up the stairs arriving 10 minutes later

“there, better, go grab a glass of water and take 2 of these it’ll help” Yunho said putting Changmin on his feet and pulling the pills he’d stored in his pocket and handed them to Changmin

“thanks Yun” Changmin murmured opening the apartment door and walking in leaving the door open for Yunho and walking into the kitchen, Yunho heard the faucet run as the closed the door behind him

“I’m going go bathe then take a nap, let me know when Neeka comes home” Changmin said wandering through the living room and started down the hall toward their room

“Changmin wait…” Yunho started wanting to asked what was wrong

“what Yun” Changmin asked, Yunho chicken out last minute and instead he said

“never mind, don‘t forget to take the gauze off before you get in the water” Changmin rolled his eyes and continued down the hall, something was wrong Yunho could tell but he wasn’t going to push things as he watched Changmin disappear down the hall and into their room, he sighed plopping down on the couch and waited for Deneeka to come home with Mi Cha, eventually Changmin came out and curled on the couch head Yunho‘s lap, to Yunho Changmin looked really sad, so he ran his hands gently though his hair, he eventually fell asleep and slept till Deneeka came home with Mi Cha before asking Yunho if he could come with him to get some air, the 2 of them headed for the roof with a blanket and Changmin laid down and stared at the stars.

A/N: Kay this Chapter kinda short. I wanna thank you all for you nice comments, makes me feel proud to write & makes me want to write more. Oh & the hair cut Changmin gets is similar in my mind to the hair style Changmin had during Superstar promos.
