Chapter 11: Changmin’s over due

A month and a half go by after Changmin and Yunho’s wedding, Deneeka is almost like Yunho’s adopted daughter and they had a 3 month old Alaskan puppy named Taepoong. Changmin was due to go any day he was already 2 day’s overdue, this being said Changmin hadn’t been himself lately and it was worrying them, his appetite decreased drastically and he spent his most of his time lock up in his and Yunho’s room. Yunho had to find out what was wrong.

-Yunho’s P.O.V-

Changmin has been acting like this for about a week now, locking himself in our room and letting no one in but Taepoong our dog, his appetite has decreased far to much for our liking. Its scaring both me and Deneeka

“Yunho you need to go talk to him, its getting to the point where we have to have him in our sights at all times incase he goes” Deneeka said voice urgent and so fast I almost didn’t understand ‘must be cause she’s from Newfoundland, that’s weird considering she’s speaking in Korean’ I thought before responding “yeah I know but he won’t let me in”

“don’t you have a key to your room” Deneeka asked

“yea, jeez why didn’t I think of that” I mumbled wandering into our kitchen retrieving the key from a draw and walked toward our room stopping short when I heard soft crying, it was Changmin

“Minnie, what’s wrong, are you in pain” I asked as I unlocked the door looking in just in time to catch Changmin shake his head

“then what’s up darling” I asked closing the door softly

 “I-I’m scared Yun” Changmin sobbed, he was beginning to hyperventilate

“scared of what Minnie” I asked, rushing to the bed and rubbing his back to calm him

“scared of everything, the baby’s survival whether or not I’ll survive, whether I’ll loose to much blood. I wanna survive this so I can watch my baby grow up with you and Neeka, I wanna finish my degree in post modern music and start my own music business” Changmin answered still crying voice shaking super bad. That hit me real heard, Changmin made me realize the chances he might not make it out of this alive, or the baby won’t survive. I stayed with him that night watching a he winced ever so slightly ever ten minutes

“I thought you told me you weren’t in pain” Yunho asked

“well, I sorta am, I think I’m having false labor pains” Changmin answered softly, he sounded so tired, telling Deneeka to order take out and tried to cohort Changmin into eat something even just a little. Tomorrow I’ll call the Doctor and tell him our fears. The next day Yunho did call the Doctor explaining their fear, he answered

“don’t worry with Changmin’s case the chances of him dying are very slim, he’s very healthy, as for the baby its already overdue so its obvious its okay, if Changmin doesn’t go in the next 5 days bring him in, also it’ll help us if you get him to walk around more” Yunho thanked him and hung up the phone, Deneeka looked at him, Yunho knows she wants to know what the Doctor said

“Doctor said he’d be fine, his chances are low, he’s already over due so the doctor the baby should also be fine. But to make it easier for them he told me to get Changmin to walk around more” Yunho explain

“okay good, I’ll talk to him after he wakes up from his nap, then we’ll take him somewhere secluded to walk around” Deneeka answered. Later that day they did exactly that headed over to a secluded trail on the edge of an old Buddhist temple, Changmin was happy, enjoying the air, the smells, and the flowers and trees, fingers laced through Yunho’s elegant ones. After about and hour they headed home, Deneeka went out shopping for baby clothes Changmin on hand for video chat, she came home 2 hours later with a Tigger and pooh blanket, soft blue floppy eared puppy stuffy and a parcel she’d picked up at the post office while she was out

“you have such lovely family, tell them thank you for all the things they’ve sent” Changmin said curled on the couch head laying in Yunho’s lap, Deneeka smiled kissing Changmin’s forehead and his hair softly, his hair was getting way to long

“haha, we need to take you for a hair cut after all this is over as for my family they’re just happy for you” she answered before saying “well I’m off to bed g-night”

“night Neeka” Changmin answered

“goodnight Deneeka” Yunho replied watching Deneeka retreat into the spare bedroom which was now hers “shall we go to bed too, I mean you must be exhausted you’ve had a pretty long day, plus your having falsies again aren’t you” Yunho asked Changmin who was looking up at him, Changmin answered with a tired nod

“yea I really don’t wanna know what the real things gonna feel like” he explained, Yunho kissed his forehead and got up helping Changmin maneuver himself upright

“well I’d suggest brace yourself, it’s the second day in a row you’ve had falsies, that could be a sign you know” Yunho answered guiding the two of them walked down the hall, Changmin fell with a grunt onto the bed somehow getting himself up to the top of the bed and was now resting his head against the headboard

“Gah, I hate being pregnant to much extra weight to carry, getting exhausted way to easy, freaky craving, its all to weird” Changmin grumble “and my back hurts” he added whining and wincing breathing in and out a couple times, Yunho chuckled

“babe, do you want me to draw you a nice hot bath, it might help with the falsies” Yunho asked sweetly, Changmin nodded, and Yunho disappeared out of sight, Changmin heard the water turn on and Yunho returned

“I’ll give you a back massage after, and try not to fall asleep while your in there” he said, helping Changmin up again

“stay with me, and is my music in there” Changmin asked, Yunho nodded to both staying and the music, Changmin smiled, then wince again, they were 5 minutes apart which meant they’d be over soon, Yunho turned off the water and helped Changmin out of his clothes and helped lower him into the tub, well it was more like a Jacuzzi then a tub but whatever, but Yunho had been right it did help, the hot water and Jacuzzi jets calmed them away, Yunho stayed singing in soft tones. Yunho helped him out again a half hour later, disappearing into the other room while Changmin towel dried himself coming back with sweats and a over sized shirt, Changmin going Commando having done so for about 2 months now cause he found wearing boxers uncomfortable, and guided Changmin back to the bed climbing on the bed helping Changmin back onto his pillows so he was laying on his right side and started worked his long fingers into Changmin’s back, Changmin moaned softly and sighed in relief

“everything’ll be over soon and you’ll have a beautiful baby in you arms” Yunho said still probing at Changmin’s back and continued to Changmin grunted stop flipping over and curling himself up next to him

“I know, thank you Yunho, thank you for being here for me” Changmin answered leaning forward to kiss him of the nose

“your welcome now sleep, I Love You” Yunho answered kissing Changmin chastely on the lips, Changmin nuzzled himself farther into the pillows and Yunho’s chest mumbling

“night Yunnie, Love You Too” his breath evening out not 2 minutes later, Yunho smiled running a hand thought Changmin’s hair, Deneeka was right he did need a hair cut, before settling down himself.

 A/N: Here we go, one more Chapter and we'll meet Changmin's little one. Its is quite obvious that Changmin is eternally thankful to Yunho, i think Changmin's said thank you to Yunho like 5 times for being there for him and with him. Next Chapter is the Birth Scene, don't worry its not graphic, and to be honest not really that descriptive, but descriptive enough.
