Chapter 19: Future

2 years have pasted since Changmin and his companions finished university, and since the day Jaejoong and Changmin got in that major fight when he found out about Mi Cha. They’d moved into a little bungalow with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathroom with a nice spacious back and front yard. Changmin was a well sought out record label debuting many new Kpop groups. Yunho work with Changmin managing the business part of their company hence why it was called ChangHo record label. Deneeka was now a well known manga writer and on her free time had a nail salon and was well known for her amazing nail art gathering many of the female Kpop singers such as Krystal and Jessica Jung, CL of 2ne1 and many others. Mi Cha was now 2 and still loved to hang around with Changmin, though sometimes she’d stay with Deneeka and watch her create new nail designs. Despite how busy they were they still spent as much time as possible together taking Mi Cha out on picnics like they were today

“Neeka, is the food ready” Changmin asked as he helped Mi Cha put her jacket on

“neh, I sent Yunho to put it in the car” Deneeka replied, Changmin nodded heaving Mi Cha easily into his arms

“umma are we going yet” Mi Cha asked

“yeah baby girl we’re leaving right now” Changmin answered watching as Deneeka grabbed her Hello Kitty sweater off the coat hanger by the front door leaving just as Yunho was coming up the walk

“are we going” he asked, the 2 nodded and Yunho stood waiting for them, taking Mi Cha from Changmin’s arms and walking to the car, placing her in the car seat, Deneeka got in the driver and Changmin got shoot gun, Yunho sat in the back with Mi Cha. They drove off heading for lotte world arriving at around 2 meaning they were all starving, so after stuffing their faces they set out to tackle rides and after about 6 hours running around the amusement park they headed back to the car Mi Cha asleep in Yunho’s arms and headed home taking the same position as before, Deneeka driving, Changmin in the front and Yunho in back with Mi Cha. There was a good amount of silence before Changmin spoke

“you know, I’ve been though a lot the last couple years, we all have in a way” he said absently staring out the window faint smile on his lips

“yea we have, but were all happy now right” Deneeka answered eyes still on the road

“yeah course we are, I mean we have a beautiful little girl we get to watch grow up and I have you Changmin and Deneeka you have that cute Taemin kid you’ve been dating for the past 4 months” Yunho said from the back seat

“hmm… yeah speaking of Taemin, how’s he been treating you” Changmin asked watching Mi Cha through the passengers side rear view mirror

“Minnie, everything fine, he’s treating me fine, stop worrying” Deneeka insisted

“I’m sorry, I’m just trying to protect you from the same thing that happened to me, you know I don’t want you hurt” Changmin exclaimed, Deneeka rolled her eyes and turned pulling into the drive way of their house, Changmin huffed indigently and mumbled “well don’t come crying to me when you get your heart broken” as he pulled the car door open and took Mi Cha from Yunho’s arms as he opened to trunk pulling out the left over picnic stuff and the stuffies they’d won playing the games to which a now awake Mi Cha reached for the little stuffed Yorkie puppy that Deneeka won her

“appa, appa puppy pwease” she begged still reaching for it, Yunho smiled pulling the little stuffed puppy from the pile of stuffies in his arms, she took it and smiled hugging it to her chest Changmin smiled along with her, brushing strands of dark brown hair from her face

“come lets go inside and get you ready for bed” Changmin said kissing her forehead

“umma I get to bring puppy right” Mi Cha asked innocently, they all laughed at her cuteness

“ course baby” Changmin answered chuckling as the 2 of them headed up the walk while Yunho and Deneeka carried everything in. Once Mi Cha was settled and asleep Changmin came out clad once again only in sweats, Yunho to went at changed coming out dressed the same way as Changmin and the three of them watching a movie, that is till Taemin texted and Deneeka disappeared into her room, Yunho and Changmin sighed stopping said movie and headed to bed themselves curling together tightly under the covers till Mi Cha came running claiming she had a bad dream and asked if she could sleep with them, Changmin found it hard to refuse, what with those teary eyes and expert pout ‘oh god, now I know how my mother felt when I did that’ Changmin thought letting her curl between him and Yunho they kissed her forehead whispering good night before drifting into dream land
