Author’s POV

As promised, Yuri went back to the hospital that morning. She went to get some food first for Sooyoung before going back to the hospital. Now, she is walking towards Sooyoung’s room. She bumped into the attending nurse of Sooyoung and told her that Sooyoung took her medicines an hour ago and went to sleep. She thanked the nurse and started walking towards the girl’s room.

“Hey Soo. I bought you some food. I bet you’re hungry, right?” Yuri said as she entered the room.

She first walked towards the table to put the food she bought then turns to Sooyoung’s bed.

And she was surprised to see Sooyoung’s bed empty.

“Soo?” she called inside the room. She then walks towards the comfort room to check if Sooyoung’s there.

And once again, she didn’t see the girl.

“.” Yuri said when she realized that the girl was gone.

“Damn it!” she said again as she went out of the room running, looking at every corner.

Where the heck did you go this time, Choi?!!! Yuri thought.

Tiffany’s POV

Just like what I’ve said to Jessica yesterday, I am now on my way to Sooyoung’s company. As I am parking my car, I can feel my body tensed up. My heart is beating fast and I am feeling nervous. What should I say to her when I see her? How will I start to explain everything? Can I really do this?

I took a deep breath and entered the company. I was greeted by the receptionist.

“Miss Tiffany, it’s been a while.” The receptionist said.

“Hi Tina. Yeah. It’s good to see you again.” I said

“Are you looking for Miss Sooyoung?” she asked.

“Yeah. Is she here?” I said.

“Your girlfriend hasn’t come back to work yet but she pays a visit every day.” She answered.

Girlfriend? So they didn’t know what happened between us?

“You can wait at Miss Yuri’s office if you want. Miss Sooyoung usually goes straight there when she comes here.” Tina said and smiled.

“Okay. Thank you Tina.” I said.

“You’re welcome Miss.” She replied.

I went to Yuri’s office and sat there. There’s no doubt that Sooyoung is staying here. Her scent is lingering across the room.

I decided to sit on the couch while waiting, my eyes roaming around Yuri’s office.

While looking around, something caught my attention. I saw this brown envelop on Yuri’s table and I somehow had a bad feeling about it.

I know I shouldn’t be minding other people’s business but unconsciously I got off the couch and checked the brown envelop.

And there, I saw the brown envelop and it was address to Yuri and it has the word “CONFIDENTIAL” on it and it gave me a bad feeling. So even though I know it’s wrong, I opened it and saw papers inside.

I slowly took out the papers and read it. My eyes widened as I saw what was written on it.

They are documents from a hospital in US and my knees felt weaken when I read: CHOI SOOYOUNG’s MEDICAL RECORDS.

I read the files and I saw the words cardiomyopathy, sick, worse and many more. My eyes started tearing up as I realized everything.

Sooyoung… She’s s-sick… Oh my god, Sooyoung’s sick.

I was lost in my tears when I heard someone enter the room and called my name.

“Tiff?” She said.

I looked at her and it was Yuri, panting. Then, she saw me holding the files.

“Did you know about this?” I asked her.
