Author’s POV

Jessica arrived at the café where she and Sooyoung will meet. She went out of her car and walk straight to the entrance door of the café, her heart beating fast, a sign that she is nervous.

As she enters the café, she takes a deep breath and search for Sooyoung inside. She walks around and there she saw Sooyoung, sitting near the glass window, looking outside.

Jessica walks toward her and tried her best to be calm although deep inside, she’s nervous and at the same time curious about seeing Sooyoung. She walks slowly and reached the table where Sooyoung is.

“Uhm, hi?” Jessica said nervously.

Sooyoung looked at her and smiled.

“Hi.” She said. “Please take a sit.” She added.

And Jessica did. She sat herself across Sooyoung and Sooyoung just watch her.

Once settled, Sooyoung called the waiter and then looked at Jessica.

“Order anything you want. I’ve already ordered mine.” She said to her.

Jessica then ordered a cup of latte and then looked at Sooyoung who is now again looking outside the window.

Silence surrounds the both of them. Neither one of them are talking.

Jessica’s order arrives and she took a sip of the hot coffee and looks again at Sooyoung.

Jessica knows what she have done and she wanted to say sorry to Sooyoung so she decided to break the silence surrounding them.

“Uhm Sooyoung, I would like to say sor…” she started but was interrupted by Sooyoung.

“Do you love her?” Sooyoung stated in a low voice, her eyes still looking at the window.

“H-huh?” Jessica said, caught off guard by Sooyoung’s question.

“Tiffany. Do you love her?” Sooyoung said as she removed her gaze from the window and looks at Jessica.

“Uhm, I do.” Jessica answered honestly, confused why Sooyoung is asking her this.

Sooyoung smiled and nodded her head, as if she’s contented with the answer she just heard.

“Then, can you do me a favor? Promise me something.” Sooyoung said.

Jessica didn’t reply but Sooyoung knows that she’s listening.

“Promise me you’ll love her. Promise me that you will always be there for her no matter how worst the situation gets. Promise me you’ll make her happy and that you will try your best not to make her cry. Promise me that she’ll be the best thing you’ll ever have and that you will live your life loving her.” Sooyoung said looking at Jessica’s eyes.

Jessica was shocked to hear what Sooyoung just said. She knows the girl is sincere with every word that came out from . But why? Why is Sooyoung this?
