[Heechul's Pov]

After my shift, I went straight home so I could rest since my shift is opening tomorrow. Once I stepped inside my house, I smiled. I'm always excited to get home. I quickly ran upstairs and opened my door. I looked inside my room and smiled again. My room is my favorite spot and my home is my safe place. 

I placed my things on the floor and lay down on my bed. Since I became an adult, I left my parents' house because they were abusive and drug addicts. I cut them off and live my life the way I wanted. I have no news from them and I have no intention of finding out what their condition is. I know some will judge me but can they really blame me? I know that if they were in my position, they would choose their own and be selfish for their own peace of mind.

While I was deep in my thoughts, my eyes landed on a picture frame displayed on top of my cabinet. As I remembered something, I lazily got up to look at my closet. I slowly opened it and smiled even more. One of the reasons why I'm always excited to go home. 

When I was about to pick up something, my phone started ringing. I grabbed my bag to answer the incoming call and it was my boss calling me. 

“Hello?”

“Did you get home safe? Sorry I wasn't able to give you a ride. Something came up so I had to leave early.”

“It's fine and don't worry I got home safe. In fact, Im in my room and about to take a shower.”

“Did I disturb you? Sorry, I was just really worried and needed to check on you.”

“I know but I assure you, you didn't.”

“Since I confirmed that you are fine, I'll hang up so you can do what you have to do. I'll see you tomorrow then.”

“Bye.”

If only he's my type, I'll date him but no, he isn't. I just can't say no because he's too nice and genuine—Maybe once I gather my courage, I will try to ask him and explain everything but for now, I'll keep him as a close friend of mine.

“You look so happy. What's going?” Jini asked me and stand near me.

“Nothing. I just feel so good today and I'm spreading my positivity here at our shop.” I giggled.

“Don't tell me Jungsoo—” I cut her off.

“Don't ruin the atmosphere and shut it off.”

“LQ?”

“How could you come up with that stuff? We aren't even together.”

“I thought you had your waaaaays?”

“Aha...”

“What if he doesn't come back here because of your so called fight? How can you make your plans to get him?”
