I'm very much stuck with this assessment.

It has been stressing me out for two hours now. Imbes na masamahan ko si Jimin sa first day ng foundation week, eto ako ngayon na naiwan sa apartment at hinahabol ang one week worth of schoolworks na namiss ko. Hindi na ba talaga ako kukunin ni Jimin dito? Ang dami ko tuloy nasasayang na papel. And between us, siya ang mas may creative juices sa pagsusulat ng mga kwento. Kuha nalang kaya ako ng mga ideas galing sa mga bedtime stories niya sa akin? Kada hindi kasi ako makatulog, kung anu-ano mga kinekwento niya para patulugin ako.

What I love about Jimin's stories is that they feel real. Halos love stories ang mga kinekwento niya. Minsan about family. Sometimes, both in one. Mahilig talaga ako sa pag-iincorporate ng family elements sa stories kasi mas na-aappreciate ko siya. Yung kada kilig na makukuha mo from the two lovers in the story, may important lesson ka ring makukuha pabalik from the family plot.

It makes me wonder, may nasimulan na kaya si Jimin? About saan kaya? I sigh. Whatever it is, sana mapilit ko siyang makipag-pair sa akin.

Speaking of my roommate, three hours has passed since her last update sa akin. Wala namang problema kung hindi siya mag-update o makapag-update. Alam kong ang dami niyang inaasikaso. Ang funny nga eh. She tweeted nanaman about me kanina. Siyempre hanggang ngayon, hindi niya pa rin alam na nakikita ko tweets niya. She posted a cute photo of a white maltese when she paid the puppy booth a visit. Sayang wala ako.

Hindi ko alam anong intention niya sa paggamit ng nickname ko na 'yan. It began siguro doon sa pag-flex niya nung lunch treat ko for her yesterday. Nasama kasi yung note ko na susunduin ko siya tapos kita ang MJ <3 na nilagay ko. Pero 'di nga, sinadya niya kaya yun? Kasi kung gano'n man, she's got our whole batch thinking:

Hardlaunch mo na yan, rina!

Should I feel threatened? What if Jimin does hardlaunch our friendship? May mga madidissappoint ba?

Based on the commotion that happened last night, may alam na si Yunjin at Chaewon. I'm quite fine with Chaewon knowing, hindi ko alam kung sadyang malisyosa siya or what, but her friendliness and playfulness towards me kada aasarin niya ako kay Jimin relieves the intimidation. Si Yunjin naman, oo, friendly naman siya sa akin. Naalala ko tuloy nung pinost niya ako tapos hindi natuwa si Jimin. But when she asked me yesterday kung ako daw ba yung tinutukoy na sundo from the tweet, kung ako daw ba yung MJ—ewan...parang napaisip lang siya.

Tanong ko nalang si Jimin directly about this mamaya. Panigurado nakwento na niya sa dalawa during her time at school today. Kung gano'n, wala namang problema kung hanapin ko siya sa kanila, right? Okay, I'll message Yunjin. Compared to Chaewon, feel ko mas maayos ito kausap.

Minessage ko ito sa IG. We've been following each other for quite some time na, ever since Jimin had me sit with them in the cafeteria. Same username lang din ang gamit nito for both Twitter and IG.

Me: Yunjin, nasaan si rina?

Ayun, naseen agad ang message ko.

Oh right, I forgot. Mag-roomies din itong dalawa. Parang kahapon ko lang kasi sila nakitang magkasama ulit. Hindi ko din alam kung paano nakaabot yung chika sa akin na matagal silang hindi okay gawa nung ex ni Yunjin. Pero basta, drama nila 'yon.

Me: Chaewon, nasaan si yunjin?

I sigh. Bakit ba ganito 'to?

@jenaissante: Hi, win! Sorry about chae. Anyway, naka-hazard lang kami ngayon sa tapat ng apartment building NIYO ni karina. She's paakyat na!!! 😉

Paakyat? Anong paakyat? Eh kaya nagpapa-update ako kay Jimin para ako ang susundo sa kaniya.

Bigla ko naman narinig ang pagbukas ng main door. 

"I'm home!" Her deep voice that's swelled with exhaustion greets the apartment. 

Nakabukas lang naman ang pintuan ng kwarto ko kaya agad ko siyang nakita. Kita kong dumiretso ito sa kusina at rinig ang pagbukas ng ref. Pinuntahan ko ito.

"Jimin, sabi ko ako ang susundo sa'yo," I sulked, folding my arms as I watched her drink from our pitcher of water. "Bakit kay Yunjin ka nagpasundo? Sabi ko sabihan mo ako pag patapos na kayo, diba?"

"Minjeong, ikaw ba patapos na sa mga acads mo?" Look at her trying to make the conversation about me.

"Jimin, ikaw pinagsasabihan ko." I furrowed my brows para alam niyang hindi talaga ako natutuwa. Parang ganito din kasi yung muntikan nang mangyari kahapon. Magpasundo kay Yunjin. Eh kaya nga may kotse na kami para masundo ko siya tapos hindi naman nagpapasundo...

Jimin sighed as she placed the pitcher back to the fridge. I thought I had upset her with my sulkiness but she immediately smiled when she turned back to me. "You should've seen the puppy earlier, Minjeong. It looked like you." 

Alam ko. Nakita ko tweet mo.

Jimin then walked past me, leaving me alone in the kitchen. Kita ko ang pagpasok nito sa kwarto ko.

Nakakainis. Hindi pa kami tapos sa pinaguusapan!

"Minjeong, ano 'tong mga kalat? Nagsasayang ka ng papel!" I heard her scold me from my room, making me leave the kitchen to follow after her. I hastened my pace when I saw her picking up the crumpled pieces of paper lying on my bedroom floor. 

"Eh kasi wala akong maisip para dun sa Creative Writing." I pouted as I picked up my mess with her.

"Natapos mo naman yung mga iba mong assessments? Malapit na yung deadline ng film review at media coverage, ha?" I nodded, assuring her. "So, yung short story nalang talaga?" She added a question while picking the both of us up from our squat. I nodded again as a response. "Kahit concept, wala?"

"Jimin, pwede kunin mo nalang ako diyan? Sige na, pair na tayo~" I pouted once more, acting like a baby. "Alam mong sa mga love letter lang ako magaling." Natawa siya sa sinabi ko.

"Minjeong, I don't know if I can take you seriously enough when you're acting like that."

"Acting like what?"

Jimin was about to say something but then hesitated. I watch her take the crumpled papers from my hand and turned away to throw them into my trash bin under my desk. "Wala," She paused, walking towards my bed now. "Just stop being cute."

Tinabihan ko siya agad sa kama ko, our backs against the headboard of my bed.

"About saan ba yung concept na naiisip mo? May nasimulan ka na ba?" Tanong ko.

"Yeah...the usual best friends to lovers trope I usually go for with a touch of family angst."

Sabi na eh. Not that there's something wrong with that trope. Ayun nga favorite trope ko eh kahit overrated na siya. Basta galing kay Jimin yung kwento, it's an exception.

"Then let me hear it," I welcomely said. "Kwento mo sa akin."

"But it's corny, Minjeong. Kaya tinatanong ko kung may concept ka na in case you have something better."

"Hmm," I thought hard and even more deeper. Meron naman kasi akong naiisip kaso hindi ko alam kung paano ko i-eexecute. And it's very personal that's why I'm hesitant to make use o
