❝Wedding Bells❞

10:04 am

The newly morning had knocked again without a rush of any event since it was a break before the actual one arrives; the faint sound of the shore could be echoed through the balcony behind the noise of the awoken world outside where the sudden breeze brushing past to the room inside had sent a shudder to the sleeping woman on the bed; Inha, her arm pulling the comforter closer tucking it under her chin while she was sleeping on her stomach to roll over for the warmth she was in a need for but found nothing.

A frown appeared on her face as her head raised up with her eyes closed, too heavy to open them as for a moment she was contemplating whether to open them or not to eventually dropped it back on the pillow as she wanted to sleep more considering the exhaustion had engulfed her but the thought of missing the time of the enjoyment during the break day as they'd departure the next day of the wedding had her sigh.

Hence, Inha sat up straight with her bed hair in a mess, her closed eyes opening slowly with a squint to rub her face with her hands hidden by the hoodie sleeves to look at it with a blink, and glanced at Sehun's place that was empty at the moment before stretching her arms ahead as she leaned over to check the time on her phone to find a few messages from him.

My jerk - I'll be in the gym.

My jerk - I'm heading out for a swimming practice.

My jerk - Uncle plus father-in-law wants to learn golf so I'm going to show my charming side!

The first one sent during eight, the second was sent during eight past half and last one was during nine past half with a smiley emoji that seemed like a teasing one for the one reading the messages right now as Inha's lips had a subtle curve on her lips at the last message but not only for the message but his way of not letting her be confused in the morning to not to find him around her had her feel more happy.

"Does he want me to follow him there?" She let out an airy chuckle to place her phone back on the table to get up with a smile while ruffling her hair with her steps pacing to the bathroom. "Well, it's not like I have anything else to do."

Yet her soft giggles echoed her excitement.

The next thing Inha was standing by the entrance of the golf court in her white shorts with a light pink polo shirt while her hair in a ponytail before her eyes looked around the area of the greenery engulfing the whole place where the sun was showering its sunlight around some people who were here that included her father, and Sehun's father as her eyes could spot Mingyu in his golf outfit while her eyes spotted her man standing out the most in her eyes like a sight to behold as he had his outfit paired up with a black pant and a white polo shirt with a cap on his head.

She stood there for a moment with her arms to herself, watching the sight of the men having their time as Mingyu had done a good shot to find both elders praising him before Sehun's father followed while Sehun was teaching the right movements as the next thing he had did his goal to find them doing a fist-bump as her lips tugged in a soft upward curve but it did more the second she found Sehun tying her father's shoelace as he almost tripped over doing his shot to watch him patting his back with a warm smile like his own father had a proud one.

And Inha was one of them; indeed, she was in love with the greatest man in the world.

A minute passed, and she found Sehun looking at the entrance to have his eyes lit up the moment he met her eyes with a smile as he gestured her to come where Inha was quick to follow as the next moment, she was standing by them.

"Good morning, gentlemen."

She greeted, squinting by the sunlight piercing into her eyes but felt a shadow towering her figure to find Sehun who had taken off his cap to wear it on her head as her nose scrunched at the sudden movement yet her heart felt pleasant at his actions to smile while adjusting the cap properly and he was ruffling his hair to stand in a comfortable position beside her through the golf stick on the ground.

"Oh, bubble, watch your father!"

Daewon stood confidently where everyone including Inha watched him standing in a pose to find him throwing his shot with a swing that the ball went into the hole and Daewon smiled that he exchanged with Sehun's father and Mingyu to look at Inha with a jaw dropped expression that Sehun had grinned at to close it swiftly as she clapped her hands.

"Amazing, dad!"

"Right?!" He exclaimed, and did a high-five with her daughter to look at the stick with a smile. "I should have gone for this from the beginning,"

"You can still enjoy it as a hobby, uncle."

Sehun smiled at him, and he nodded where his father was quick to speak. "Let's play it when we get back home."

"I'd love to!"

Inha smiled at their interaction to look at Mingyu standing still. "Have you played it before?"

"No."

"How are you good at it?"

"I'm a quick learner."

Inha made a face. "Show off."

"Whatever."

"Sehun is really good at teaching."

Daewon praised him, and Sehun smiled to meet Inha's eyes with a playful smirk as he leaned closer enough to whisper. "See? I'm a good teacher."

"As if." Inha's eyes squinted. "You get sneaky."

He tilted his head with a frown, and she imitated his actions rounding her eyes as if sending him a reminder of the times they had the teacher and learner moments to have his lips curved in a smile to lean even closer that his chin hovered her shoulder like his lips almost brushed her ear.

"That's the best way to teach you, doc-lady."

Inha's cheeks warmed as she bit her lip, preventing herself from smiling yet his eyes following her action had her look away with her blushy smile. "Cheapester."

Sehun leaned back with a soft chuckle.

"Come on, Inha, you should try a bit."

Sehun's dad said, and Inha nodded, looking at Sehun who was quick to give his club to her while stepping close so he could brief her about it, as he took the club from Mingyu to stand in a position for Inha to follow his lead.

"Keep your feet apart a bit,"

Sehun looked at her shoes before crouching down to take a hold of her ankle to keep it on the right spot unaware of the three men watching the sight silently yet it felt pleasant for a known reason but the second Sehun stood up meeting Inha's eyes was the moment they got aware of the three people around them leaving them in a blush.

Sehun cleared his throat. "Do you see that hole?" He pointed at the closest one and Inha nodded, and met his eyes. "Since you're learning, just swing it gently towards that side."

"Alright."

He taught her the way to swing as she followed suit before standing in the position and the next second, she had swung the club to hit the ball as it rolled through the line towards the hole but halted just by it until the ball was pushed it in by the foot that belonged to Mingyu standing close to it.

Inha pointed her forefinger at him with an impressive nod, and he nodded back with a light smile where the two older men standing had clapped for her with Inha being herself had lifted the collar of her shirt along with her shoulders sassily while Sehun was left with a fond smile on his lips.

A few moments more with the laughter and joy together, the older men were already exiting the court for a rest behind Mingyu who didn't want to get awkward and grimace at the couple session where Inha and Sehun watched them disappearing from their sight.

"Did you notice?"

Inha uttered, still looking at the entrance and Sehun was already preparing for another shot before ducking instantly the second she had put the club on her shoulder with a swing while turning around with the thing still on her shoulder as she frowned at his position while he frowned back at her actions.

"I did notice your way of banging my head."

Inha's forehead creased to realize before smiling at him. "It would have increased your big-brain energy more, celeb."

Sehun stood up avoiding the club on her shoulder that he had taken from her hold before squishing her cheeks from her chin hold. "Your small-brain needs it more, doc-lady."

Inha held the club on the ground as she stood comfortably while watching him standing on his position but she couldn't help but look at his arms, "Now watch my moves and follow my lead," Sehun trailed off, pushing his hair back to glance at her to find her eyes on his arms that was nothing new as he rolled his eyes where Inha felt her chin being in a gentle hold with a lift of her face to meet his eyes; intent.

"Focus on me, Inha."

"I am," She nodded, looking back at his arms to meet his eyes. "Your arms are more noticeable right now, Sehun."

"I wish I could bang your small-brain."

He sighed, and she giggled before watching him standing on his position; his eyes suddenly focused like the way his frown had deepened and his jaw tightened where she couldn't help but stare at him since the sight of him so focused, and serious had made him look hot as her head tilted to get better access to her eyes because stare was all she wanted to do right now until he had swung the club with a hit to the ball that flew over in a hole successfully leaving him smiling at satisfaction.

"Did you watch me?"

"I am watching you."

Sehun heard her to meet her eyes already staring at him in a lost trance yet he found a hint of admiration, and adoration that had him step closer to her where Inha snapped out, to find him close enough as he took a hold of the visor of the cap she was wearing to pull it up a bit for him to stare at her longer.

"Have you been looking at me like that, Baek Inha?"

Her heart skipped a beat. "Like what?"

"Your wild look."

His head tilted as his eyes bored into hers deep enough behind the warmth of her gaze she held with a rapid pace to find her lips curving up softly to feel her fingers brushing the curve of his neck as he slightly flinched to feel her fixing his crooked collar while her eyes still boring into hers to pull him closer by the collar.

"I definitely have been looking at you like that, Oh Sehun."

His heart jolted with a warmth crawling through his ears. "Not right now."

"And why is that?"

"Because it's too sunny."

He blurted out, and she blinked a couple of times with a dumbfounded look at his dumb kind of excuse. "What kind of ridiculous bull was it?"

Yet instead of getting his answer, Inha was turned around to feel his chest against her back while his arms around her as she looked down at his arms grazing hers; his hands over hers on the stick she had been holding before feeling his lips over the shell of her ear.

"We can do this instead."

His whisper had brought warm chills through her system radiating to her cheeks as her head tilted away from his lips. "Cheap move."

"You don't like it?"

"Nope."

Yet Sehun found her cheeks colored as his head tilted to peek closely with a smile. "Unlikely."

Inha cleared , trying to move the club in their hold for him to teach her the high swing where Inha heard him. "You were saying something,"

Inha hummed, not ignoring his attentiveness towards her as she followed his movements of swinging. "I was talking about Mingyu and Ah-Young."

He hummed. "And?"

"I think you should talk to both of them."

Sehun frowned. "About what?"

"I know it's not my place to intrude but Ah-Young has confessed her feelings and it's a very courageous thing to do," Inha paused, getting a flashback of her unutterable confession, and uttered one that took her more courage than she thought as her back slightly straightened to leaned against Sehun's chest on her own, "And talking about Mingyu, like you had told me that she would do it rather waiting for Mingyu to do it, but you also said that he has a past and because of that he might push her away," She trailed off, tilting her head back to meet his intent eyes. "And I found him disturbed the entire time he was here."

Sehun could understand her words; he himself had seen the man lost, and disturbed enough to not to be around Ah-Young since this morning that he could tell must have hurt her feelings but as much as he wanted to help out both of them, he wasn't confident at it.

"I don't think I'm the right person for it."

Inha frowned. "Is there a problem?"

He his lips. "I'm not much of a good talker, Inha."

Inha's lips parted in surprise. "Are you hearing yourself, Sehun?"

"Am I wrong?"

"Completely."

He met her sharp eyes that seemed like the disagreement with his words as she looked away while sighing softly. "You do know how over-think I do," She trailed off, swinging the club again where he listened to her patiently following her lead. "And whenever I had needed my all ears buddy, and a good talker to get the things off my mind, and give me the confidence that I need and want," She paused, with a smile. "You have been the first, and the best for me and nonetheless you are always a good comfort person to talk to, provide that much too, so in my eyes, no one can be the best talker, and all ears for me than other you, Oh Sehun."

His movements halted but it had made an impact in a way that Inha had swung the club in a jerk to find the ball flying over like was in a gape along with her rounded eyes to gasp loudly the second she found the ball going in the hole.

"Did you see that?!" Inha exclaimed, slapping his arm as she turned around. "The ball flew over!"

"How do you always do this?"

Sehun questioned, still staring at her softly and Inha shrugged. "I must be talented."

He chuckled softly and she grinned, but felt his arms around her in a gentle pull to feel his warmth against her in a warm embrace where her arms were quick to wrap around his waist, and another one to hold his shoulder before dropping the club like her lips had pressed against it as Sehun leaned his head against hers; his heart still in a pleasant feeling at her words that seeped deeply into his mind that she always does whenever he needs to hear it.

He felt her hand patting his back softly to listen to her mumble. "I didn't think you'd be happier than me at hitting a shot."

Sehun leaned back with Inha still in his hold to find him taking off her cap slowly as Inha's eyes squinted a bit while looking at him who has been staring at her back in a soft, and adoring glint in his eyes to feel his lips on her forehead warmly as if he was thankful for the words she had uttered to him, and she was aware of it by his actions to smile the second he smiled beautifully at her.

"Thank you."

"Of course."

She nodded, before feeling him leaning in for a kiss but she was quick to lean her head back and Sehun frowned. "What?"

"Isn't it too sunny?"

He rolled his eyes. "What ridiculous bull."

"You started it."

"You think I'd only want to kiss you when you're saying these words, and looking at me like I'm a wild piece?" He questioned, as in a statement with an intent but intense gaze enough for her to blush like the color shading her cheeks and she cleared , looking away. "Anyway, do talk to both of them."

"But why me?"

"Because you're closest to them."

"And you?"

Inha tilted her head with her smile. "I'm your special piece."

Ah, that damn smile again; this little adorable doc-lady.

"Shall we go somewhere?" Sehun asked, and Inha raised her eyebrows. "Where?"

"Downtown."

Her eyes rounded. "Hell yeah!"

Sehun nodded, patting her back to lean back as he held out his hand for her where Inha was quick to take it as they made their way to the entrance with their backs in a sight behind their shadows under the sunlight in a close one; like them.

"Did you see how talented I am?"

"A good teacher deserves praise too."

"You get sneaky, Oh Sehun."

"You're not less than a sneaky brat, Baek Inha."

And their bickering conversation went on like a norm of the day.

1:04 pm

"We're going on a bike?!"

The exclamation of Inha's emerged with the breeze of the outdoor parking lot where the bike was parked and standing by it was Sehun in his casual shorts and sleeved-up white button-down as he pushed his hair back that got messy by the sudden breeze with a smile at his doc-lady having her own moment of excitement but his eyes couldn't help but keep noticing her casual dressed up; standing in her white midi dress with a yellow cardigan while her open hair waving slowly.

And no matter how many times he says; she'd always look beautiful like herself in a way that was hard to take his eyes off.

"Is everyone ready to go?"

He heard Jinsoo's voice to find him coming to their direction in his casual wear while twirling the keys of the Jeep that was parked, and rented for the day as he stopped to glance at the bike. "You both are really treating it like your honeymoon."

Inha rolled her eyes. "We call it enjoyment."

"Oh, you're here already?"

Yoojung was walking in her off-shoulder jumpsuit with her hair in a braid on her shoulder looking like a beauty she was that Inha was quick to mouth her pretty towards her leaving Yoojung to smile with a hug as both of the ladies stood in that position before watching Soomin in her summer dress, walking alongside Ah-Young who was in a violet floral dress while their men behind them were in their casual wears.

The plan of visiting the downtown was shared with the others and since it was the only remaining day of not having to do anything other than the girls giving Yoojung a bachelorette at night, while boys doing theirs and hence, everyone decided to roam around the downtown a bit to watch the sunset at a yacht where it is famous for the sight, and whales to appear during winter season.

"What are we going to do about them?"

Yoojung whispered to Inha where the latter was quick to understand her to look at Ah-Young and Mingyu standing like strangers without having any eye-contact, appearing awkward, and nervous and Inha sighed, leaning her head against hers. "Hopefully the better."

"Alright, let's get going since it takes time to get there."

Si-woo suggested, and agreeing to his words, everyone had settled in the Jeep where Jinsoo had taken the driving seat beside him was Yoojung leaving the other pair behind while Sehun had taken his place on the bike with Inha behind him holding his waist to feel his hand over hers like always to tighten her hold before starting the engine where the next second, Inha was waving them away with a smile.

And the little adventure began on the road; almost empty shining under the sunlight of the winter behind the windy breeze that it brushed past through Inha's open hair waving back with the rhythm of it, her lips smiling like the fluttering of her eyelids before her arm had raised up to feel it though her hand while another arm had wound around Sehun's shoulder who had a smile on his lips at the carefree Inha through the mirror.

Inha glanced at their friends to find them almost crossing them where Soomin and Ah-Young were standing up behind enjoying the moment with Soomin recording it all in her camera as Inha found it in her direction for her to do a peace sign with her happy smile to watch Jinsoo waving at her as they rode past them along with Yoojung laughing at Inha already making it a competition.

Sehun shook his head, his hair in a breeze of a mess but he didn't care at the moment, he was enjoying his time to watch Inha spreading her arms open through the mirror before feeling her chin on his shoulder like she had hugged him with a quick kiss on his cheek softly that had him smile more where Inha felt him taking her hand to his lips with a kiss on her palm sending the pleasant flutters through her system.

She looked up at the blue sky and the reminder of that color was right here, close, and in her arms; the moment became more special and she loved it with all her might.

let out a happy laugh the second they crossed the Jeep again; Sehun sent a salute to Jinsoo who pulled his sunglasses down his nose with a whatever look and that had the circle of friends laugh more.

Their adventure halted at a restaurant to have a quick bite of something followed by the little roam of the places nearby; the photo session of the ladies continued with the shaved ice-cream in their hands.

"Give me this, Yoo."

Inha held out her hand where Yoojung put Jinsoo's sunglasses on Inha's palm that she had been holding onto while having their shaved ice-creams by their parked rides under the shade; Soomin stood holding the phone towards Inha who stood in a leaned back position against the Jeep while posing with the sunglasses as she captured the picture with a smile.

"That came out so well!" She looked up while pointing at the Jeep. "Now, get on the bonnet."

Inha nodded, immediately looking at Sehun who was leaning against the bike having his ice-cream and as if he knew, he had looked up to meet Inha's eyes calling him where the next minute he was already standing by her as Inha held the cup of ice-cream for him to have him lift her up by her hips to place her on the bonnet.

"Take one with this old mister."

She patted Sehun's shoulder with a smile who rolled his eyes before feeling himself getting turned around by her as he leaned against the bonnet with Inha's legs either side of him behind like she wound her arms around him with the shaved ice-cream; Soomin was taking their picture as Inha had posed while Sehun had to take a spoonful to gobble into his mouth as the picture was taken.

Soomin gave him a look. "You couldn't wait?"

"Give it back,"

Inha was already on the task of taking it from him while Sehun was extending it out of her reach where Inha squealed feeling herself being leaned on his back the second he tried to get away resulted her to be in piggyback position like her legs and arms were locked around him while he was laughing that had her squish his cheeks with her own laugh while Soomin had captured the moment with a smile like everyone else has been.

Inha jumped down with a punch on his back as he winced to shove the spoon of ice-cream into before walking away.

"Yoo, Ah-Young, come over here now."

Soomin gestured them to come to where they had been standing; the two of the ladies were quick to follow leaving the men standing there in their world of gobbling and watching the scene as their little phone shoot of selfies continued till Jinsoo had reminded them that they had to another place to be at yet got a disturbance look from them.

Nothing can change them indeed.

Yet the moments of theirs were glad to live and would be pleasant to reminisce like the new circle of friends had gathered with a bond that they were unaware of but grateful to form.

Soon enough, the time crossed five, the sun was slowly setting on its pace like the particular yacht ship had been sailing on the wavering water; the circle of friends had found them in it as they had reached on the time and since the sun was yet to be set, people were resting inside and one of those were Sehun and Inha.

Others had run outside to enjoy the warm breeze as that's what they were here for; Inha had leaned back carefully not to disturb the resting Sehun whose head was on her shoulder with his eyes closed after taking the medicine for the motion sickness he got that she didn't know about nor he did but both got aware after him not feeling well after a few minutes.

Inha kept rubbing the back of his hand gently that he had interlocked on his lap to tuck his hair away from his eyes with a concern; her head leaned against his as her eyes stared at the view through the window silently until she felt him stirring a bit enough for her attention to turn to him as Sehun opened his eyes to feel Inha's palm to the curve of his neck with a soft caress to his jawline.

"How are you feeling?"

He sighed, feeling a bit dizzy as he his lips. "Dizzy."

"Isn't the medicine working?" Inha mumbled, frowning. "Should I give you another one?"

"Please, don't."

"How will you get better?"

"I will be good in a bit," He trailed off, as Inha felt him holding her arm to pull her closer to feel him snuggling into the curve of her neck, "Let's just stay like this."

She let out a chuckle to ruffle his hair softly from his nape to have him nuzzle more into her warmth as the nuzzle of his nose against her skin felt ticklish enough to giggle to feel him poke her arm. "Don't act so innocent after making me eat the bitter medicine, doc-lady."

Inha rolled her eyes, squishing his cheeks. "You should feel grateful to have a doctor girlfriend like me, celeb."

"I am," He mumbled. "But I hate eating medicine."

"But you'll feel better soon."

He just nodded, his hair tickling her skin again to laugh softly that had him smile lazily even at his down state; only Baek Inha is capable of it.

"Are you feeling better, buddy?"

Jinsoo came into sight after walking in their direction as he stood over the couple while looking at Sehun worryingly who nodded, looking at him. "Better than before."

"Is everyone still sightseeing?" Inha asked, and Jinsoo nodded, shoving his hands into his pockets. "Yeah, on the other side to have the two awkward people talk."

Sehun and Inha understood who the two awkward people were; Ah-Young and Mingyu, both of them needed to talk after that surprise confession of hers, and his sudden silence over it and both of them could be seen standing by the fence of the cruise in a decent distance unlike their closeness that had decreased their any kind of distance but here it was again that needed to be broken again for good.

"You can say whatever is in your mind, Kim Mingyu."

Ah-Young glanced at him to find him looking ahead while his hair in a wave of breeze yet her eyes couldn't be averted away wondering where did she had got the courage to confess to this man; how this man hadn't meet her eyes after it that was obvious since she was aware of his past that she thought had broke those walls around him considering the closeness between them but guess, she had brought them up again.

Mingyu met her eyes; the one looking at him softly behind the emotion he had been seeing nowadays but that was put into words through her confession that left him surprised, he was happy about it but somewhere their different profession flowed his negative thoughts more because he had a past that he had hurt people around him and again, he didn't want her to have that.

He had his hands locked behind as he bored his eyes into hers silently. "I'm a journalist, Lee Ah-Young."

Ah-Young's forehead creased. "Is it your issue?"

"We have different professions but it also tangles together and sometimes not in a good way so do you really want to be with a man who might have to go through his profession where your personal life might comes in light, and do you really want to date a journalist like me where you might hear words that points at your profession?"

Ah-Young heard him attentively; the thought about him being silent because of his past had her worry because that didn't matter to her since she was in love with the man whom she has met now and who was a great man to be with and listening to his words made her understand his perspective; his worry for her that warmed her heart.

"You think I haven't thought about it?" She tilted her head, to look ahead at the wavering water. "I have been following my dad's instructions from the beginning but for the first time, I chose my path where my heart was happy and I admit it wasn't easy but I was content because achieving it has made me happy now and I'm doing the same with the person I want to be with,"

"There might be obstacles ahead that I'm sure of since our profession lay there but I will go through it because that's how my heart chooses so, because I don't want to regret reaching out to you," She paused, turning to him to find him already staring at her; he was stunned, as she smiled softly. "I don't want to force you into anything, I wanted to pour out my feelings since that's how I am, but you don't have to feel burdened over it, and whatever your decision is I'll respect it, Mingyu."

He was surprised but not much; he knew her nature of being straightforward, placing her words right where it's needed like last night, and like right now and however it was, he couldn't find himself to push her away, he wanted to hold her hand, and wanted to reciprocate her feelings yet her being in the limelight because of him was stopping him taking that one step towards her and a pang of unpleasant pierce was felt right there.

He felt like a coward; like before.

The sudden phone call of his had him excuse from her where Ah-Young stood there for a moment in a silence; the people around having fun as some of them were swimming in the warm water to fun activities but here her mind was in a jittery and in an emotion of feeling the piercing pain because of his silence that felt like a rejection.

She chuckled bitterly; her mind surprised by the fact that she had come to a point of getting rejected, not a first time in profession but definitely first in the love line.

A few minutes passed, and she felt some steps approaching her direction that for a moment she had thought of Mingyu but there was no way he'd be here when he was looking for an excuse to be in his own space and as she tilted her head to the approached person, her eyes greeted the friend, and a person whom she had come to meet the loving people here through; Oh Sehun.

"Are you already better?"

Sehun gave her a judging look. "You already feel bad about it?"

Ah-Young gave him a look. "Do you have to twist my words?"

And instead of her reply he had uttered his own words. "You surprised me last night."

"I thought you'd be shocked."

"Nah." Sehun shook his head. "I kind of saw it coming from you but last night was just a sudden move," He trailed off, looking at her with concern. "Are you okay?"

Ah-Young chuckled, "Of course I am," She paused, looking down with a silence to sigh deeply. "I was aware of this happening but now that it has, it's giving me all scary vibes and I don't like it."

"In case you lose whatever you have with him?"

Ah-Young met Sehun's eyes with an understanding expression and he probably knows it too since Inha and him had the same feeling before taking that one step into their phase to nod at him. "I don't want to lose what we have but if I hadn't said anything about my feelings, I would have regretted it if it was too late."

Sehun nodded, since he had gone through the same thing except he wasn't that courageous to pour out his feelings in an instant all because of his fear of losing Inha, and his bond with her and because some circumstances had him do it but he was still glad that somehow he had gotten the courage through Inha to be with her right now when it all felt like a dream too unachievable to be true.

"You're brave, Ah-Young," He trailed off, and rolled his eyes the moment he got the grimacing expression from her; typical of her as he gave her a look. "I'm serious, I have known you for years and I have known your straightforward nature too like how you have done it last night unlike me, but Mingyu's case is different, and he is a lot different from you but his feelings for you aren't."

"I know."

"You do?"

"I can see through his actions but he lets his profession between us," She let out a chuckle sadly. "Should I be glad that it's not his past that's stopping him?"

Sehun's eyes rounded. "He told you?"

"Yeah, but it doesn't matter to me since the one I'm in love with is the Mingyu I have known for months and the one who has been a good person but now our profession is the issue here and I hate the fact that I understand his reasons."

"Then give him some time to sort out those reasons."

Ah-Young nodded before sighing loudly. "This is why I hate these love things!"

Sehun couldn't help but chuckle before getting slapped on his back. "Don't laugh too much just because you got your love."

And he grinned proudly. "Indeed."

Ah-Young rolled her eyes to excuse herself after being called by Yoojung as the gang of friends were standing on the other side where some people had been doing boat or swimming activities while Sehun stood there; the warm breeze brushing through his hair softly as he stared at the water with his hold on the railing as the conversation with Ah-Young played in his head again.

And the more he thought about it, the more it was taking him to the point of where their depth of love was left unuttered, and how it was similar to theirs but right now he was feeling grateful for the courage Inha had took that time, and the step he had took towards her as they wouldn't be here if it weren't for that one courageous step.

His heart felt another wave of relief.

At the moment, he felt a pair of arms around his waist from behind, and he slightly flinched but let it be since there was only one person who had the right to embrace him like this and the one he had been thinking about as he felt her chin on his upper-arm and he turned to her to meet Inha's curious eyes as her head tilted looking at him adorably that he couldn't help but smile as he leaned his forehead against her while his eyes closed with a gratefulness.

Inha stood still, her eyes closing slowly at his actions and his warm skin against hers close to let him be as if he was in need of this moment; the calm silence behind the sound of wavering water under the sun that was slowly setting with a faint orange tint of the winter heat.

She felt him leaning back with a soft kiss on her forehead as she met his eyes still staring at her with an adoring glint, and smile, enough for her to smile with a sudden blush.

"Your talk went well."

Sehun's forehead creased. "You can tell?"

"I can." She smiled, and he smiled back. "You always do."

Inha felt him leaving the railing to twist his arm behind before feeling it around her shoulder as the next minute, she was standing beside him with him hugging her like she had wrapped her arm around his waist from behind to let her head rest in the crook of his neck with a feel of his cheek against her forehead.

"I noticed that they have similar worries like we had before."

Inha frowned with silence for a moment to adapt his words before recalling of the times they had been pushy towards each other with a pull afterwards in their relationship that had a bond they never wanted to lose; the courageous moment of theirs with a confession and the time their love was known to the people out there but that included the ten years of their distance of their drift, and unuttered words.

Yet passing through all they were in the arms of each other; the unpleasant was all worth it since the bliss was here.

"I hope they overcome it like us."

Sehun hummed, pulling Inha closer. "I hope so."

"I have heard the sunrise on the beach is a fantastic sight seeing."

"Shall we do that fantastic sightseeing?"

"Let's do it." Inha smiled. "How are you feeling now?"

"Better."

Inha leaned her head away to look at him as he met her eyes. "Give me a smile, Sehun."

He blinked a couple of times to smile not even close to better and she tilted her head to imitate him with exaggeration. "You call this smile?"

The next second Sehun was laughing softly at the action of hers and Inha laughed back to kiss his cheek softly that had him turn to her while wrapping his other arm around her where she felt his head falling on her shoulder.

"Hold me."

"I'm holding your heavy ."

Sehun raised his head with a frown. "You're so cruel."

"Yah, I just treated you so you should feel grateful and you're calling me cruel, that's so not cool,"

Her words halted to find the familiar look of him nodding his head lazily as she grabbed his collar with a sharp look. "How dare you make fun of me, Oh Sehun-"

And he didn't let her continue it further with a quick peck on her lips to have his head fall back on her shoulder where Inha scoffed, still blushing to unconsciously giggle at him trying to snuggle more that had her hold his nape with a soft ruffle to his hair.

"How deep do you think the water is?"

Sehun raised his head to find her looking down at the water. "I don't know."

He met her sparkling eyes. "Can you swim in it?"

"Probably."

Inha hummed, nodding as she leaned away from him before standing against the railing to look down but felt him pulling her back. "Be careful."

Inha nodded, looking ahead with her hands over her forehead as her eyes squinted with Sehun standing beside her before Jinsoo calling their names had them flinch as Inha turned around with a huff in a swift but her foot slipped off the floor to have her yelp as her back hit the railing behind falling backwards with Sehun instantly grabbing her hand in a panic but the impact of it had her fear enough to grab his arm along that her weight had taken them both fall in the water behind their scream.

Sehun felt the warm soak of his skin under the water to immediately pull himself up; a few gasps left his mouth while pushing his damp hair back to look around for Inha but no sight of her as his already panicked heart panicked more.

"Inha!"
