❝Under The Sparkles❞

6:42 pm

September. Sunset. Autumn. The fresh air.

The second week of September had begun, welcoming the autumn with a breeze of cold, yet fresh air after the heated summer and at the moment, the setting of the sun behind the hue of its tinge of orange emerged with a yellow shade.

Inha had crossed the road of busy Seoul to her neighborhood where her trio of squad had been waiting; one of them was special one now though, but at the moment, she was humming to the song of Chen in her car as she rounded the corner since the change of season had brought a relief for not groaning over the heat anymore.

The next thing she had pulled over by her neighborhood, outside the street of their hang out home; her steps were already walking down the street, clad in her casual yellow checkered shirt, tucked in her black denim pants with her hair in a bun behind her nape while a few strands either side of her face as she was directly back from the hospital that she was called in between her break today.

Doctor's life they say; hustle and bustle.

However, the moment she had stopped by the home, a sudden sprinkles of water drops rained on her head as she gasped to step back and with a tilt of her head up, she found her jerk of a man having his foolish grin towards her; standing in his peachy t-shirt against the rooftop railing to sprinkle the water again behind his victorious laugh.

"Welcome, doc-lady."

"Welcome, your ," Inha grumbled, dusting off her shirt and hair to narrow her eyes up at him. "Why are you picking a fight with me?"

"You picked a fight with me first."

Sehun's forehead creased, as in a recall for her doings earlier that Inha could remember clearly of how she had sent a bunch of her pictures during the tryout dresses for Yoojung's wedding that the trio of the squad had went for to the boutique that Jinsoo suggested; he came along being the groom for helping his bride-to-be, Yoojung to choose the dress for each other while Inha tagged along to get hers as she was on a break leaving Sehun, who had gotten busy after his winning tournament that followed more photoshoots; interviews, and his packed schedule.

And in between those, Inha had sneaked her way of sending her pictures of her tryout dresses to get his opinion but for a few minutes, her messages were only seen, and the reply she had gotten was; are you picking a fight with me?

And she knew, he was left with a blow of blush at her daring and she was a laughing mess wholeheartedly.

"Do you remember it now, topper?"

Inha twisted her lips as she shrugged with both hands along with a lift of her shoulders. "I can do whatever I want."

Sehun nodded. "Me too."

The next moment, he sprinkled the water again only for her to step backwards with her cheeky grin towards him and he rolled his eyes, trying to do it again with a smile but she kept dodging him before grabbing a rock to throw towards him but he dodged it; this jerk, and the rock flew over his shoulder.

"Yah!"

Jinsoo exclaimed, where Sehun and Inha exchanged a gaped look and the next second, Jinsoo stood beside Sehun with a glare towards the couple, and a rock in his hand. "Running me over wasn't enough that you're throwing rocks at me?!"

Inha puckered her lips. "It wasn't that bad."

"My backbone is broken."

"You wouldn't be standing right now if it was."

"Don't play doctor-patient with me." He huffed, and glanced between the two. "Why are you always creating chaos, and fighting? I thought it would be different now."

Sehun frowned. "What difference?"

Jinsoo smirked. "Difference of kissing freaks now."

Inha's face flushed. "Yah, Woo Jinsoo!"

He laughed, but yelped the moment Sehun sprinkled water on his face as the couple was laughing now; Inha giving him an impressive nod to which he winked, but gasped the next second, as Jinsoo headlocked him before taking the sprinkler from his hands but Sehun was quick to run off the railing as Jinsoo chased him.

Inha shook her head. "Little kids."

"What the hell are you both doing?!"

Yoojung shouted, and Inha found her against the railing, looking down at her as Inha nudged her chin. "What's happening?"

Yoojung shrugged. "The rooftop hasn't been cleaned up for a while and I was free so why not?"

"Cool."

"Aren't you coming?"

Inha nodded, pointing at her old home. "I'll go check out, and join you."

"Alrighty!"

Inha stared at visage of her old home; open for them now unlike those years when she had to look at it with a darkness of her heavy memories but not anymore, somehow things were making a difference in her life, and she was happy with it as a smile graced her lips to cross the open gate; the front door's key in her hand that she opened to cross inside, and the empty house had greeted her without having any furniture only for it to be filled with it, and the people later.

The house was in a process of renovation; it was closed for nine years and the things had gotten old for a use as it will be replaced with new ones yet the memories, and the people would be the same.

She walked in further to find a bunch of paint baskets; the kitchen walls were already painted, like the rooms, leaving the living room and rooftop for a later task, as she could sniff the fragrance of the fresh paints that seems to be likable as a smile curled her lips to ascend the stairs to her room that was painted in a light yellow shade; her favorite color to run up to the rooftop.

The fresh breeze had greeted her like the almost bluish sky knocking the night afterwards.

As she stood for a moment in the middle of it, her ears perked up by the sudden footfalls approaching the rooftop; her head whipped to the door to find Sehun walking in, his eyes looking around to meet her eyes softly like his smile and Inha's lips curved in a soft subtle one as she watched him nearing her figure to palm her jaw gently with a soft caress to her skin like it soothes her.

"I'm glad you got your home back."

Inha nodded, her eyes softly boring into his warm ones. "I did."

This home, and the one standing in front of her; she found both back.

As if he understood her words, his lips graced a beautiful smile to have her smile back; their little smiles.

"Our doctor woman!"

Jinsoo walked in with a smile; a sly one only to drop it off with a face. "Get away for a second for once, you kissing freaks."

Sehun made a face. "No."

"Where is Yoo?" Inha asked, and Jinsoo huffed. "Stay away from my soon-to-be wife, seriously, it feels like you're going to third-wheel us on our honeymoon."

Inha made a face to irritate him. "I might do that."

"What about me, then?" Sehun intruded, and Jinsoo waved him with a done look. "Just hide her somewhere so we could leave and keep her to yourself and kiss all you want."

Inha gave him a done look. "Bloody prick."

Jinsoo nodded, looking around to grin slyly as he walked to the corner where the open white paint basket was placed with two brushes, and the couple stared at him confusingly only to realize his almost actions as both Sehun and Inha took a step back the moment he grabbed the brush with a smile.

Sehun shook his head, with a warning frown towards him while Inha hid behind him. "Jinsoo, don't."

"Now get this."

"What's happening?"

Jinsoo flinched by Yoojung's voice behind him as he turned around with a startle only to startle the woman whose face was painted with a brush now by his own soon-to-be husband's swung action as Inha and Sehun had a gaped look on their faces along with Jinsoo, except, he was regretting his actions.

"Honey."

And his attempt of coaxing her was beaten by his two best friends behind whose laughter had erupted hilariously together.

The next moment, both of them were splashed with the white paint on their clothes halting their laughter with a gasp as Jinsoo was laughing at the moment until Yoojung had flat her hand of the paint on his cheek with her giggles; his cheek stained like a slap mark as it was more hilarious for the trio to laugh together with the other couple joining in; Inha taking another brush to stain Yoojung's face while Sehun grabbing the brush to swing it on Jinsoo's clothes.

And the paint fight had begun; their laughter emerging together with an echo on the rooftop under the dusky sky like a warming moment of their drifted moments but seeping another memory to reminisce.

Yoojung had opened the tap on the wall as she filled the empty basket to throw on the trio with her soft, and happy laugh at their expression as three of them stood still to follow suit as she was the one being soaked in the water; the floor watery and slippery as she approached Inha but slipped where Inha caught her but slipped along on the floor with a thud but seeing their painted faces had them laughing at each other.

"Look at Jinsoo!"

Sehun exclaimed, with a laugh as the man was standing with his hair painted white now; a white mustache like an old man and Inha laughed more; her shoulder bumping Yoojung's shaking one by the laugh. "Yoo, you're gonna marry an old man!"

"Well, your man isn't less than that."

Jinsoo stated, and threw the whole paint of basket on Sehun, as his dark shirt was now a white, soaked but his hair colored too as Inha couldn't help but laugh with her claps to point at him. "You look so funny, celeb!"

Sehun nodded, ruffling his hair back with a laugh to grab Jinsoo who dodged his way to the ladies only to slip the water as he ended up sitting in front of Yoojung, who was looking at him blankly for a second to laugh again; her painted hand painting his nose that he welcomed with a heartwarming smile; the next second, Inha found Sehun approaching Jinsoo to splash him again only for Jinsoo to nudge his leg, making him fall down with a thud.

And a laugh escaped the trio's mouth as the man was rubbing his bottom with a whine.

Inha reached out, squishing his painted cheeks softly but found him palming his painted hand on her cheek, in a brush that his thumb grazed the corner of her lips; painting it smoothly like his eyes on it as a warmth crawled through her system to meet his eyes as he smiled teasingly where Inha had pushed his hand away with a blush; this sneaky jerk.

"Okay, okay, let's get up now."

Yoojung said, and attempted to get up only to slip again with a thud back and the trio was left with a laughter again as Yoojung's followed suit; their carefree laugh emerging like their old times, and in their new times, but it didn't change anything because the bond was the same, like their homely people; unchanged but beautiful.

7:32 pm

Inha had descended the stairs from the rooftop of their hang out home; changed into a pair of sweatpants that Yoojung had here already as in a necessity for later and now it being used, while her damp hair behind her back as she walked in the living room almost going to the fridge to get the plate of sliced melons but her eyes had caught the bouquet of flowers on the dining table; sunflowers.

And a smile graced her lips as knowing the owner of bringing it; it was for her, and him who had bought it again, as whenever he would get a chance, he'd shower her with the bouquet of flowers nowadays and it was something she had come to like, scratch it, she loved it.

She grabbed it gently to her nose with a sniff; they are fresh, and her smile widened with a shy one to hide her face with the flowers until a pair of familiar arms had picked her up from behind with a hold of her waist as she gasped with a startle to find herself being twirled around as her eyes closed with her giggles erupting like his emerged with hers with his lips against her ear; oh, how she loved listening to it.

"Oh, I'm dizzy!"

Inha shrieked, and the next second, Sehun had placed her down to twirl her towards him as within a second, Inha found herself being lifted again to be placed on the dining table; him standing between her legs as she blinked a couple of times to adjust her vision to glance up at him, changed into a pair of sweatpants that belonged to Jinsoo but fitted him perfectly while his hair damp on his forehead like a sight to behold and she was doing just that; stare, as stare was all she wanted to do.

Sehun had a smile on his lips; her stare sending flutters into his system as he couldn't help but stare into her eyes back softly before Inha felt his thumb tucking the hair behind her ear as his fingertips brushed her skin with a feathery touch to palm her cheek gently and leaned in, pressing his lips on her cheek warmly that brought her lips in a soft smile to place his lips on her forehead.

"What's with the sudden kisses?"

"I thought you like my kisses." He mumbled, against her skin that had her chuckle as he leaned back to meet her eyes with a teasing smile. "You go wild for it."

Inha punched his stomach. "As if you don't."

He winced, rubbing his stomach with a frown, tilting his head to glance at her chin with an intent gaze and Inha blinked, feeling flustered to frown. "What?"

"You have got paint on your chin."

Inha rubbed her chin while looking at him. "Is it gone?"

He shook his head, reaching out to have his knuckles under her face with a tilt up to him as he leaned in closer; his thumb caressing her chin gently while Inha stared at him tenderly to trace her forefinger down his jawline to his chin as her eyes glanced at his parted lips to feel his actions stopping and she looked at him to find him already looking at her; intent, and somehow warmly deep.

A warmth rushed through her. "What's up with the look?"

He blinked. "What look?"

A teasing smile curled her lips. "Like you want to do something wild with me."

And a knowing smile curled his lips, as he nodded, bending over so he had his hands either side of her thighs on the table; his face closer as he tilted his head with a glance at her lips. "I might have that idea."

Her cheeks warmed to smile, and he had a smile back at her actions.

"Oh, wow, can you both look here?"

Both of them flinched to look at the direction to find Ah-Young standing there in her casuals; her phone towards their direction as she took a picture of theirs with a nod of a smile. "That came out nice."

Sehun frowned, standing straight. "Don't you know what privacy is?"

"Dining table in the living hall is not your private place to have your privacy."

"Right." Inha nodded, and Sehun met her gaze with a betrayal frown where Inha shrugged. "She's right though."

"Whatever."

Ah-Young and Inha had a chuckle together before Mingyu had walked in; his eyes immediately met Ah-Young's who stared at him for a moment to look away where Sehun and Inha had changed a look at the seconds of interaction but intruding enough.

"I asked you to get the melons but you disappeared for your session of kisses."

Jinsoo descended the stairs with a shake of his head with his hand grasped into Yoojung's behind him who had a smile where Sehun and Inha had made a face at him like always before Ah-Young and Mingyu had greeted the pair as the gang of new friends were gathered to have a gathering again.

Si-woo and Soo-min couldn't join as Si-woo had a meet-up with her parents; things were going in a good direction for them.

The new gang had gathered in the living room after the dinner to watch a movie together but not finding popcorn and drinks, everyone agreed to buy it with a quick stroll.

Soon, the new gang of six were walking down the street, silent, the lamppost light either side, with Yoojung had her hand grasped into Jinsoo's, and Sehun's arm was wrapped around Inha's neck whose arms were folded to herself while the stealing glancing pair had a not so distance between them; Ah-Young and Mingyu, pleased with the sight of the couples, but awkward too.

"This reminds me of our high school days."

Yoojung mused, roaming her eyes around the newly couple to the stealing glancing couple to meet Jinsoo's eyes with a smile as he planted a kiss on her head with a hum. "Yeah, it does."

"I'm curious about it."

Ah-Young uttered, walking alongside Yoojung who had began to narrate their high school moments which half of it had been narrated by Sehun already before; she was still interested as knowing how beautiful their bond had been as the squad had kept adding their perspectives ending up laughing at it; Sehun and Inha finding every way to roast each other that added more laughter where Mingyu had his arms dropped by his sides that accidentally brushed Ah-Young's hand who instantly met his eyes with a flustered gaze that had him flustered too.

However, Mingyu's mention in their conversation had him nervous, and Ah-Young to be more interested, but he was quick to shut his topic off since he wasn't much proud of to show it off and the squad understood as always to divert the topic to Jinsoo's charming personality who couldn't stop agreeing at it but Ah-Young was still confused; she was curious about Mingyu's topic being shut off as if he was embarrassed to be talk about, confused if it was that embarrassing thing or something else.

She was curious and more about him yet the man hadn't made eye contact with her during the conversation.

"Why don't you guys wait here till we fetch the stuff?"

Jinsoo suggested, and everyone nodded with Inha giving him a teasing nod to which he tilted his head. "What?"

"Don't fetch too much time."

Yoojung flushed at her comment to poke Inha's forehead. "This brat."

Inha's nose scrunched with a smile as she giggled, to feel Sehun's thumb caressing the place with a quick squish of her cheeks before the four of them watched the couple walking down the street further outside to the convenience store as they stood by the bookstore where the wooden table was to sit on it; Sehun and Inha together while Ah-Young beside her leaving Mingyu to take a place beside her but with a safe distance.

A distance to be neared in the future but yet to be known.

The four of them looked up at the night sky; the moon in its half display over them where Inha had placed her head on Sehun's shoulder as a reminder of their moments right at this place, and this seat had crossed her mind to have her lips smile softly to feel his jaw leaned on her forehead slightly; warmly with his hand interlocked into hers on his lap and she could picture the smile on his lips; their understanding was enough for it.

However, Inha had felt the silence beside her to glance at the pair blankly to find Ah-Young staring at the moon silently with an admiration where Mingyu was scrolling through his phone but Inha noticed his stolen glances at the seated woman to have her forehead creased in amusement; man was being obvious, obliviously.

Inha pressed her lips; a mischievous idea in her smart-brain, to nudge her elbow on Sehun's side who frowned at the interruption of his good time to meet her eyes after she leaned away; her eyes gesturing to the silent pair to follow her gaze and nodded as if understanding her as the next second, he had stood up, his hand still in his woman's grasp.

"Walk with me, doc-lady."

Mingyu frowned. "What about us?"

"You two can wait till those two come back."

Ah-Young gave him a look. "Seriously?"

"They would get confused about our disappearance."

"So, just sit back, Sehun." Mingyu intruded, and Sehun shrugged, tugging Inha's hand in a gentle pull as she was standing beside him; he shot Mingyu a smile. "I need some alone time with my Inha."

Inha couldn't help but smile; her cheeks warmed again and Ah-Young scoffed, seeing it to wave her hand off. "Out of my sight."

Inha chuckled, pushing Sehun's back ahead as he nodded with a happy smile. "Gladly."

The next thing Ah-Young and Mingyu had watched the couple walking away; the lamppost lightening their silhouettes with a soft smile, as she was happy to see them finally having their love in their embraces after going through it, she wouldn't know it completely but she knew how much they had a hard time going through where they are right now; she was wholeheartedly happy for them.

And the wholehearted happiness would find her too or it was just around the corner for her to perceive it.

She glanced at Mingyu to find him awkwardly scrolling through his phone like the silence was between them; she couldn't handle it and cleared for him to meet her blank eyes confusingly as her lips parted. "So you have been friends with them since high school?"

Mingyu blinked a couple of times to look away with a bitter chuckle. "I wouldn't say friends," He trailed off, meeting her confused eyes that somehow had him captivated. "I wasn't much of a good friend to begin with, especially with Sehun, and it still baffles me how they have let go of it to befriend me."

His voice audible as he didn't like the direction of the conversation was going; he wasn't much comfortable to talk about his past deeds, let alone forget it, and to the extent of discussing it and it was flabbergasting for him to converse his past to the person he never imagined to talk with; Ah-Young, but he couldn't stop himself from being silent when she had asked him so softly unlike her fighter self with him but it was another thing that he was feeling an irk of captivation towards her now.

He didn't know when it had begun but he wasn't much oblivious to the feeling; the depth actually but he was afraid of taking a step towards her since his past self had been a dreadful thing to let another person in as if afraid of hurting them, and he didn't want to hurt her.

Ah-Young was staring at him patiently; his words surely had baffled her but understood by the expression of his sullen expression that his past moments with the squad hadn't been the best to brag about as she recalled their fight in the gathering right in Yoojung's place of how the bully word had triggered him enough to spat back to her in anger and understood that it might be connected to it.

However, she was seeing a different side of him; she didn't know how exactly he was in his high school but she was seeing the present side of his and she wanted to make him see it too, with a realization coming to her of her heart, and mind being attracted to this man since it was a first time she was this captivate by someone; curious, and intrigued, but that came a feeling of pleasant flutter too.

"And not every person is good to begin with,"

Mingyu heard her after a few minutes of silence to meet her soft eyes; his heart skipped a beat.

"Be it friends, or a journalist," Ah-Young emphasized, with a knowing look at him that was enough to have him scoff softly as she raised her eyebrows. "Everyone goes through a phase of life, some have it good, some have it bad, and some have it worse but what impacts us after that is what is important,"

Her lips tugged in a soft smile as she looked at the moon. "You had one too, but your impact was a good one, and I can see it in a positive way because you wouldn't go to the extent of going through secret files to help Yoojung, or have a conflict with your senior to get to the journalist's profile to help Sehun and Inha or the fact that you wrote an article to save Jinsoo's W&J. "

She met his stunned eyes with a jolt of her heart to blink a couple of times. "So, that's exactly why the squad has befriended you because you are worthy of being a friend, and much more."

He felt a pleasant and welling up warmth through him; it was the first time someone had a long conversation with him, and a meaningful one to the extent of understanding his thoughts, his feelings and he was feeling grateful for her at the moment but there was so much more seeping through his heart as his head tilted down to meet her eyes. "Thank you, Lee Ah-Young."

Ah-Young's eyes widened. "You know my name."

"Of course."

"You didn't the first time we met."

"I knew it," He trailed off, smiling. "You didn't want to be recognized and I respected that."

Her heart warmed with a smile. "So, you do admit I'm a well-known top star."

He chuckled, nodding. "Yeah."

Both of them looked away with a smile; a shy one, a happy one, and a blushy one that would get more in the depth of their hearts; yet to be known.

"What do you think they'd be talking about right now?"

Inha asked, her fingers locked into Sehun's, as both of them walked down the street together to turn around so she was walking backwards with him in her sight and Sehun kept glancing down for her not to trip. "Hope it's not about the weather."

Inha giggled, before her head tilted with a smile; her soft eyes staring at him with the strands of her hair falling back in her eyes because of the breeze yet the sight never appeared so alluring as his head tilted, a beautiful smile on his lips like his eyes boring into hers softly as their steps paced in a slow manner without a rush of any rush.

Under the sparkles; the moonlight, and their comforting silence.

"What are you doing?"

He questioned, and Inha blinked. "I'm looking at you."

"And why is that?"

"Because I want to."

He went silent again and Inha let out a soft laugh; beaming around the silent street like a music to his ears and the next second, she was swirled by his hand as if in a dancing manner that her laugh echoed more as his giggle emerged with her to pull her back by his side; their interlocked hands around her neck as her other hand played with their hands.

"Was it okay to leave them alone?"

Sehun mumbled, and Inha nodded. "I think yes, because they seem to be awkward, and something just sparkles between them and if something has to happen, they have to get rid of that awkwardness first, and leaving them alone is probably a good idea."

Inha felt his nose grazing her temple with a soft kiss as he mumbled. "Good going, smart-."

Inha giggled. "I know, brainless."

"Now, you're picking a fight."

"I am, so what?"

"This."

He dipped his head further to place a few soft kisses on her cheek to her jaw to hear her soft giggles of squeals seeping a warmth through him as he smiled against her skin until both of them had reached to the place of the street; the railing to be precise that leads to their neighborhood where both of them exchanged a soft, and reminder glance at each other at the reminder of their moment here; under the snowfall.

"It's been a long time." Sehun mumbled, pulling Inha closer to his side to hear her humming. "I know right."

"And it's still the same."

Inha nodded, to feel his arms hugging her shoulders from behind; her back against his chest as his head leaned on hers to feel her hands on his forearms with a soft caress that had him snuggle into the side of her hair where Inha's heart beamed a pleasant feeling while looking at her favorite city lights yet the feeling of being in his arms had seeped more endearment likewise for him.

"Do you remember that snowfall night?"

She asked, and heard him humming as he spoke audibly. "Every bit of it."

"As in?"

"How I was going through the hard time but I was worried for you more, and I missed you more when I couldn't see you and one of the reasons why I agreed to play along with Yoojung and Jinsoo's birthday surprise."

"So you could meet me?"

He placed his lips on her temple. "I wanted to meet you."

Inha smiled. "Me too."

"As in?"

"How I was over thinking about my worries, but I couldn't stop thinking about you, I was more concerned about your health to the extent of wanting to see you," She paused, with a chuckle. "And you appeared right when I wanted to see you."

She felt his lips smiling against her skin to lean his head against hers. "I still remember how I was so happy, and relieved to see you," He paused, with a giggle. "I still can't forget how adorable you looked in that beanie, and fighting the snow with your red nose."

"I hope it was not a runny nose."

"I can't be too honest, doc-lady."

"Jerk."

"And yours."

"Yeah," Inha nodded, with a sigh to turn around as Sehun held her in his hold to find her hand squishing his cheeks. "How did I come to love this jerk?"

His eyes squinted, and Inha felt her own cheeks in a squish. "Like I have come to love this handful."

Inha scoffed. "Let go."

"You first."

"Not happening."

"Then, not happening either."

Inha frowned. "So, which one?"

Sehun frowned, not understanding her question yet replied while letting go. "From?"

Inha did the same to tilt her head. "Which dress looked better on me?"

"All of them."

He answered, almost immediately and her forehead creased. "All the dresses were good?"

"You look pretty in every one of them," He trailed off, with an affirmed yet adoring glint in his eyes as he reached out, tucking her hair behind. "You make everything look beautiful on you anyway, so whatever you wear, you'll look you, Baek Inha."

Inha felt a whoosh of blush like her lips gracing that smile to reach out for a squish to his cheeks. "You cheeky jerk."

He chuckled, cupping her face to plant a soft peck on her lips where she did it back to have them giggling together.

Until a sudden sound of crackers had erupted as both of them glanced ahead of the railing to find the colorful fireworks going off in the sky; like a sparkle where Inha gasped loudly while cupping as her eyes glowed. "Oh goodness!"

She glanced at him. "You did?"

He blinked a couple of times to grin. "Let's say I did."

Inha shook her head with a laugh as she playfully pushed him away only for him to pull her back as Inha had her arms around his waist; his arms around her back with a firm lock to feel her forehead against the curve of his neck, making him lean on her as their smiling lips had watched the most beautiful sight with their glowing eyes.

Like the warmth of their embraces.

_____________________________

7:05 pm

The sky had greeted the bluish shade after the sunset, like the third weekend, and a Saturday of September was greeted as if telling how the time has been passing by, giving the loved ones around a sadness of it, yet a happy feeling of having the beautiful moments together unlike a time that had fallen over them; a drifted one but not anymore.

The car had pulled over by the familiar house; a house for a few people but a home for the two beings, the ones in love, the ones whose home was each other, and one of the being had got off the car with a quick brush to his hair; messing up his neat style hair during his shoot which he liked, but man preferred to be comfortable for now.

"Sehun-ah, I'll get going then."

"Drive safely, hyung."

Sehun nodded at him before walking through the gate inside as he opened the front door only to be startled, there she was, Inha, standing in her casuals in front of him with a bouquet of sunflowers stretched towards him in a style with her adorable smile towards him and his tiredness flew away from the invisible window as his lips curved in a soft, and adoring smile to tilt his head.

His lips parted to utter his words only to get cut off by his manager behind him who stood unexpectedly. "You forgot your-"

Inha's eyes rounded, like Chang-ho's words stopped with an awkward, yet surprised jaw drop where Sehun stood still, silent, and Inha was quick to stand straight with a flush of embarrassment to bow at the man with an awkward smile. "Good evening, Manager. Kim."

"Ah, yes," He bowed back while holding back his smile. "How are you doing, Ms. Baek?"

"Great," Inha nodded, sparing a glance at Sehun to find him holding back his laugh with the bite of his lips as he folded his arms to lean his shoulder against the door frame; this jerk, Inha looked back at his manager. "Would you like to come in?"

"No, no, I just came to give Sehun his phone, he forgot it in the car."

Chang-ho was quick to hand Sehun his phone with a pat on his shoulder as he left, not before bidding goodbye to Inha, and she swore she watched his shoulders shaking as if laughing as he disappeared from their sight.

"That was so frigging embarrassing."

Inha closed her eyes to hide her face in the flowers with her embarrassed cry before glancing at her man of a jerk to find him already looking at her; a smile on his lips that was an urge to burst out laughing one, and Inha glared at him to turn around with a scoff, walking further inside with him following suit as he chuckled softly.

"Don't you dare laugh at me, Oh Sehun."

She turned around, her sharp eyes at him as he walked in, changed into his slippers while the white button-down clung into his torso like a perfect click tucked into his pants but the sight had Inha swallow at, yet she had her glare at his foolish grin. "I loved the surprise though."

"You were enjoying my embarrassed self, cheapester."

He pressed his lips to blink. "Chang-ho hyung doesn't pay attention to it."

"That was so helpful, celeb."

He let out a laugh, his head tilted down to hear her steps pacing to the kitchen with a stomp of her foot; she was going to explode, and he was quick to follow her with a happy smile. "What's with the flowers?"

Inha sighed, taking a look at the flowers in her hold to turn around with her puckered lips as she met his eyes. "You always buy flowers for me, so I thought I should do it for you this time with a surprise but who knew I'd get embarrassingly surprised?"

Sehun had a gush of beam in his heart, as his head tilted with a soft glint in his eyes towards her like his smile. "So, aren't you going to give it to me now?"

Inha's eyes squinted. "You threw away your chance by laughing at me."

His lips puckered, and her heart melted right there to roll her eyes with a smile as she nodded. "But, since I happen to be the mature and nice one," She paused, extending the bouquet towards him. "I shall present these beautiful flowers to you."

Sehun his lips, with a fake pondering look at the flowers to meet her confused eyes with his soft ones. "I love this one more."

The next moment, Inha found him stepping closer to her visage as within a second, he had lifted her up in his arms; his arm around her waist with his other hand holding the back of her thigh where her arms had hugged his neck with a gasp to see him smiling like a fool as his eyes bored into hers intently yet adoringly fluttering her heart.

"This one is inevitably beautiful."

And her cheeks heated up to look away with a smile only for him to press a warm kiss on her cheek as his nose nuzzled against her skin sending a tingling flutters that had her giggle as his giggles emerged against her skin with a vibration to lean back as she met his eyes; her palm leaned on his jawline.

"Don't be cheeky with me, celeb."

"I love being cheeky with you, doc-lady."

Her words against her; two can have a play.

The next second, the bouquet was placed on the dining table and he had paced to the living room carrying her carefully. "How was your day?"

Inha let out an exaggerated huff. "Exhausted."

He hummed, and she felt him rubbing her back softly to sit on the couch in the same position; her legs either on it, technically, straggling his lap where her hands began to play with his already messed up hair as he let her be wordlessly.

"How was your day?"

"Tiring," He let out a sigh of relief at the feel of her hands; soothing his system as his eyes closed, "I had two shoots, and Jinsoo's still pending for next week."

Inha caressed his jawline; her thumb on the mole on the curve of his neck. "I also have to go to Jeonju next week for the medical camp since I couldn't go to Busan."

His eyes opened. "We're also going to Jeonju."

"Seriously?"

"Seriously."

Both of them chuckled at the sudden coincidence.

"But I don't think we'd be able to meet though."

"We can just sneak around." Sehun shrugged, and Inha's eyes lit up. "I love sneaking around."

"I know it better than anyone."

He chuckled, his arms around her waist pulling her closer to him with a soft bump on their foreheads before she placed a soft kiss on his forehead, as his eyes closed to have him lean his torso sideways taking her along as Inha found them lying on the couch; his back against the backrest like his head on the cushion with his arms holding her close to him, like her head on his
