Three princely guys gladly approached Shin Hye. She looks at them pleasantly.

“Annyeong! May I help you?”

“Uhmm. Jung Shin, Min Hyuk and I wanted to sing something special to you.” Jong Hyun, one of the three said with confidence.

All of her classmates watched closely at their performance. They were all cheering for them.

“I bet she’s gonna dump the three.” one of her classmates whispered.

“Yeah right. I also think that way too. I wish I could be her.” her seatmate said with a heavy sigh.

This wasn’t the first time that they witnessed something like this to Shin Hye. A week will not pass if no guy will confess to Shin Hye. She and Min Ah are referred by the school as the ‘campus sweethearts’ because of their pretty face, approachable and cheerful attitude. She is also the smartest student in the bunch. For most of the guys, Shin Hye is their ideal girl. To girls, she is their idol, but some are secretly jealous of her. However, they also knew that Shin Hye is not really interested in dating a guy right now so they already knew the outcome for those guys.

As the song ended, Jung Shin approached Shin Hye with a bouquet of flowers, Min Hyuk with a chocolate and Jung Shin with a teddy bear.

“Shin Hye-ya, we really like you so much. We admire you because of your beauty and brains. Although we’re not as good as you when it comes to Mathematics, we are still trying our very best to be at par with you. We even hired private tutors and held group studies among the three of us. We wanted to improve ourselves because of you. It’s now time to choose among us whom you will date.” The three said as if memorizing a romantic piece for a play.

Shin Hye just smiled at them. She slowly stood up and said,

“I was really touched by your words because you used me as your inspiration but… I think you should improve yourselves because you wanted to change for the better and not for me.”

“Uh-oh. Looks like I know where this is heading.” Min Ah said carelessly.

The three frowned.

“Jeongmal Mianhae. I’m not yet ready committing myself to a relationship. If you want, I can teach you Math.”

The three guys lightened up their faces a little bit after hearing her offer but then changed back being sad realizing they were already rejected. They went back to their seats with heavy hearts.
